My Experience With the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro.
I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro for a little while now, and honestly, it’s one of the best laptops I’ve ever owned.
The first thing that blew me away was the screen. The AMOLED display is just gorgeous — colors pop, blacks are truly black, and with the 120 Hz refresh rate, everything feels smooth whether I’m scrolling through a webpage or editing photos. Watching movies on it almost feels like I’m looking at a high-end TV.
The battery life is another huge win for me. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t like being tied to a charger, and this thing easily lasts me through a full day of work plus some Netflix at night. I don’t have to constantly stress about plugging it in, which is a nice change from my old laptop.
Performance-wise, it’s more than enough for what I do — web browsing, office work, some light photo editing, and streaming. Apps open quickly, multitasking is smooth, and I haven’t had it slow down on me yet. It’s not a hardcore gaming or heavy video editing machine, but for everyday use, it’s more than solid.

Definitely a value and successful product. All the modern features (touch screen) with some throwbacks (number pad) all at a reasonable price. The quality and functionality is top. Speed and capacity is top notch. Positive review but no down side.

I only had it a few weeks but the speed is great. The power adapter being a C-charger same as my phone was innovative but the charger get very hot. The stylist got lost somehow due to the packaging and I was on travel when I purchased. I have no idea how it works. The box was tight and protective but the accessories were loose the stylist has no place that I can see for it to stay with the laptop.
I spend 4 days in customer service inquiring about the adapter because I believed it was the wrong one. Customer service was quoting either a 45 w or 60 or 65 w could work that really meant nothing to me I as a layperson easily understand a "C" charger. I am trying other chargers to see which is fastest and less heat generating.

I've owned this laptop for about a month. I think the Samsung ecosystem is excellent. All the devices work so seamlessly together. As far as specs, this is a great computer for the price as far as it's battery life, power, and display quality. That's where the positive review ends. This is my "bedside" laptop. Meaning, I really only use it in the evening as I end my day. I would say that I have used it very lightly over the past month. I discovered today that the screen has a crack from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. I have no idea if I did this or it was like this when I bought it. I have never damaged a laptop in my life. Unfortunately, I did not opt for the ridiculously expensive Best Buy protection. To pay almost 25% of the laptops price is a joke. But judging by how fragile this laptop display is, maybe I should have. If you are going to be travelling with this laptop or moving it around at all, I would recommend something other than this. This laptop just cannot handle any sort of jostling. I was hoping this device could serve as both a laptop and tablet, but I was hoping for too much. I would strongly recommend another brand of laptop based on the lack of build quality of this laptop. Steer clear of the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. A screen replacement will cost almost 50% of the cost of the laptop. This thing is now useless to me, and I'll have to find another laptop. This was a very expensive mistake.

I’ve been really happy with my Samsung Book 5 laptop! It runs super efficiently—I can open multiple programs, and everything works smoothly without slowing down. The screen is bright and clear, which makes it great for working, watching videos, or just browsing. It’s lightweight and easy to carry around, and the battery life has been solid too. For someone like me who doesn’t know much about computers, it’s been very user-friendly and reliable. Definitely a great purchase!

If you're searching for a laptop that blends cutting-edge performance, jaw-dropping visuals, and intelligent features into one sleek package, look no further than the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 Copilot+ PC. This machine is an absolute triumph in mobile computing.
Power (my specs):
The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor paired with 16GB of memory and a lightning-fast 1TB SSD delivers buttery-smooth multitasking, blazing app launches, and seamless AI-accelerated workflows. Whether you're crunching data, editing 4K video, or running predictive models, this laptop doesn’t flinch.
Display That Dazzles:
Samsung’s 16" Dynamic AMOLED 2X touchscreen is a visual feast. With a 2880x1800 resolution, 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR brightness up to 500 nits, and 120% DCI-P3 color volume, everything from spreadsheets to cinematic content looks vivid, crisp, and immersive—even outdoors thanks to Vision Booster tech.
Battery Life That Goes the Distance:
The 76Wh battery offers up to 25 hours of video playback, and with fast charging (35% in just 30 minutes), you’re never tethered to a wall. It’s built for all-day productivity and travel-friendly reliability.
Versatility Meets Creativity:
The 360° hinge transforms the laptop into a tablet, and the included S Pen makes sketching, annotating, and note-taking intuitive and precise. Whether you're an artist, analyst, or student, this flexibility is a game-changer.
AI-Enhanced Experience:
With Microsoft Copilot built-in and a dedicated key for instant access, plus Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search, Live Translate, and Chat Assist, this laptop feels like it’s thinking with you—not just for you.
Sound and Connectivity That Impress:
The quad-speaker system with Dolby Atmos delivers rich, immersive audio, while Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, and more ensure you're always connected to high-speed networks and peripherals.
Sleek, Secure, and Built to Last:
Its ultra-slim all-metal chassis (just 12.8mm thin and 3.73 lbs) is as durable as it is elegant. With Samsung Knox and Windows 11 Home, your data stays protected while your workflow stays fluid.
Final Verdict:
The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 is not just a laptop—it’s a productivity powerhouse, a creative canvas, and a smart companion all rolled into one. Samsung has truly raised the bar. If you're serious about performance, design, and future-ready features, this is the machine to beat.

Positives:
+ Amazing battery life, 10 to 18 hours depending on usage.
+ Gorgeous OLED display. Likely the best out there.
+ Bought it for the great Samsung EcoSystem. I can wirelessly connect my Tab S10 Ultra as a 2nd monitor, as well as with my Galaxy ZFold 6. Easily transfer phone calls, text, and pictures to this laptop.
+ The Pen and 360 tablet/tent features are nice to have. I will have to force myself to use more of this as I am not a graphic artist but may find useful for taking quick notes.
Middle Ground:
+/- The weight (just under 4 lbs) is both good and bad. It's really light for the power and features it offers, especially with the Intel processor. But it's about half-pound heavier than the Snapdragon Book4 at 3.4 lbs. I thought I wouldn't be able to feel the difference between them, but when lifting in one hand, I actually could. The Book4's weight is amazingly light, like the LG Gram series. This Book5 Pro 360 has to be heavier because of the 360 hinges. The Book5 Pro non-360's weight, however, does come very close to my Book4.
Negatives:
- Acceptable 16GB memory capacity. Why wouldn't Samsung offer a 32 GB version? I'm a big multitasker on Chrome, often running 4 to 6 windows with 4 to 10 tabs each.
- Acceptable keyboard key travel. Some have complained that the 1mm travel was too short. It feels acceptable to me. But this area could be improved.
- Occasional palm issues on the large trackpad.
Some info on my computer needs as it may be different from yours.
I bought this to upgrade from my Galaxy Book4 Edge 16" (16GB Memory, 1TB SSD), which I love very much, because it had limitations with available software due to the Snapdragon CPU. Before that, I was using a 32GB Dell XPS 14.
I work in Enterprise IT, where I deal with data engineering and BI Analytics, and soon, AI. I have a different laptop provided by my work, but I still prefer a beefy system for all personal work, financial upkeep, and entertainment, including more YouTube videos than gaming. I do some light programming and training to update and maintain my technical skills. Therefore, I had to go back to the Intel processor.

Works amazing and the battery life is to die for. The S pen is a great inclusion and it's great to take notes with during class. I've had the book 3 360 and currently also have the book 4 edge and they just keep getting better every iteration. It's a little pricey for the specs and you can definitely find cheaper with similar specs, but the quality is amazing for what you pay and Samsung has frequent sales. I thought I'd hate the keyboard as I hate the apple keyboards but it's actually very easy to type on and you can actually feel the click of the key. I also thought I wouldn't like the large trackpad as it seems a little too big, but honestly I'm starting to like how big it is. Sometimes I accidentally do gestures because my palm touches it, but since I don't use the gestures anyway I was able to turn it off and it works great. The integration with my other Samsung devices is also great and I can use my tablet as a second screen. I think any tablet even apple ones can be used as a second screen with a special app as well. Samsung also syncs all my notes between my phone and laptop. Another great feature is that if I copy something on my phone or want a picture on my laptop I can copy on my phone and paste on my laptop seamlessly. Honestly feels like a macbook for windows but at a WAY better price and way better value with a better ecosystem and better compatibility with apps and games. Speaking on games it can definitely run some of my steam games so I can play things like jackbox on the go! (which you can't do with a macbook)

Display is awesome. Speed is great. I really like the 360 and the touch screen I added a bluetooth mouse and it connected easily. The transfer software works well but the instructions cloud be clearer and they should add some tips, such as move any data on the old computer you want to one of the targeted folders.

Overall, it has been a great experience with some minor drawbacks.
The screen clarity is exceptional, making it a delight to work on or watch content. Colors are vibrant, and the brightness levels are more than sufficient for both indoor and outdoor use. The 360-degree functionality is another fantastic feature that adds versatility, allowing me to use the laptop in multiple modes like tablet, tent, or regular laptop.
However, one aspect that could use improvement is the screen hinges. They feel a bit loose, which causes slight wobbling when the screen is adjusted or if the surface isn't perfectly stable. While this hasn't caused any functional issues so far, it does give a slightly less premium feel compared to the rest of the laptop's build quality.
In summary, the Samsung Book 5 Pro is an impressive machine with top-notch display and versatility. If the hinges were a bit sturdier, it would be near perfect. I’d still recommend it for those prioritizing screen quality and flexible design.
