Built tough, looks great and runs great
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this laptop and this is what I personally use for admin task to run my small business. I recommend it to friends and fam for the build quality and screen. I compare this to a luxury item though, so low value but high aesthetics. It is like a Mercedes vs Toyota, both good car manufacturers but one is more sleek and sophisticated than the other. Well, the Samsung will be problem free for years unlike many German cars ;) My last Samsung Book 360 laptop lasted ~4 years and still works great but was time for a new one. They really improved the quality over the years too so that there is no flex in the chassis. With this Intel CPU package you can get this performance in a cheaper laptop for sure, but if you value a well built machine that works great and had a gorgeous screen this is it. The Samsung software is not intrusive either and very useful. Your apple friends won't make fun either LOL The speakers are pretty good, not as good as my Asus Zephyrus but good for the size. Battery life meets expectations, I have never needed to charge mid day unless I did not charge the day before for example. My typical use means I can do well over a day of work but I have my tablet or phone for entertainment too. I pair this with a Samsung Tab S10+ as my wireless second screen and have been happy to have a WIRELESS dual display setup. There is some latency but if that bothers you, the Tab S10+ can connect with a USB-C cable for low latency operation and still less clutter than other external monitors. I use an Alpaka Metro 12L backpack with the devices.

Snappy and Solid.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m switching from a 14” MacBook Pro so I can do software development more easily. I love feel of the construction. I’m already up and running with a WSL (windows subsystem for Linux), Docker Desktop, and VSCode environment. Technically you can do this through emulation on a Mac, but this skips a layer of frustration. My one oversight has been that the graphics card is an 16GB Intel GPU, so it doesn’t run NVIDIA CUDA natively for some small local AI models. I’m working on how to get past this.

Love my new laptop!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best decision I ever made while considering a new laptop. It’s so light yet solid. I love the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro. Though I wish I could use an S Pen with it, even though i didn’t get the 360.

Book 5 Pro, a fine tuned machine.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A near perfect laptop. Incredible 3K AMOLED display, around 12 hours of battery time at medium brightness with normal mixed use: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Multiple browsers with lots of tabs, YouTube and Music streaming, Video calls, light Photo and Video editing. Basic to moderate users who run fewer apps simultaneously should get a lot more than 12 hours. Intel Lunar Lake Ultra 7 runs all normal tasks quickly and efficiently at low power. Keyboard is quiet with comfortable typing. Keyboard backlight has multiple adjustment levels, all of which work well for different lighting conditions. Track pad is not haptic, but has a clean smooth glass surface where tap-to-click works without a hitch. Maybe a haptic track pad will come with next year's Book 6 Pro? Haven't heard the fans once and the laptop remains cool or slightly warm (at worst) to the touch, very comfortable to put on your lap. The integrated WiFi 7 works great with my WiFi 7 router, no dropped connections and gets equal speeds to LAN. Craftsmanship is just like Macbooks, very premium feel in every regard. Speakers are adequate for such a slim chassis and Dolby Atmos improves them further. SSD speeds are upper-end, everything reads, writes, and launches quickly.

Sleek, fast, and great display
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a laptop that could do it all: multiple programs open at once, video editing, oodles of browser tabs, online meetings, and be small and light for carrying everywhere. I am so pleased with this machine. The display is amazing—crisp, vibrant colors. The keyboard is comfortable and easy to use for touch type and not too loud. It boots up quickly and handles multiple resource-heavy tasks with ease. I haven’t pushed the envelope with the battery yet, but so far at least lasts all day. I love, too, that the charging cable is usb-c—very convenient.

Performant laptop with all with gorgeous display
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is as close to a truly luxury experience as I've ever gotten with a laptop. The build quality is clearly inspired by a certain fruit brand and you can see why. Lunar Lake lives up to the hype with balancing enough power and battery life to really let you stay away from the plug for hours. I'm glad Samsung also included such a beautiful OLED screen though I'm not pleased that HDR settings don't immediately go in effect when switching between SDR and HDR. Think this can be resolved in a firmware update. I'm also sure that battery life would have been better with an IPS panel, but I am still able to achieve 8+ hours without much optimization of background tasks and screen brightness. I like a machine that you can just open and it works without a ton of tinkering. Last point, the quiet mode is fantastic and works nearly as well as the standard fan profile. They are all very quiet, but I like to get that nearly silent experience.

Looks and feels nice but not enough to keep it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The quality was good, and the screen looked great. It was very light for traveling and very fast and responsive. I really wanted to like it and keep it; I already have the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The downsides that made me get rid of it were the touchpad, which is not haptic yet, and at this time, a mechanical touchpad feels outdated. I couldn't get used to it coming from MacBooks. The other big issue for me was the speakers; the sound was very bad.

Not worth it at even half the price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you absolutely need to use windows and you need a light laptop, this will be okay. Honestly, though, it runs hot, the fans spin up if you don’t use in the ultra low performance made-the whole time, and it’s glitchy. Perhaps that’s just windows, but the experience is really subpar. The only thing nice is the screen. That’s gorgeous. Oh, and you can add up to two internal SSDs. That’s cool, I guess. But, did I mention it’s frustratingly slow? The trackpad is a diving board style that works when it wants to and is an awful experience. My honest advice is to get a cheap MacBook Air, from any generation of Apple silicon and you’ll see what a machine should be able to do. You’ll spend half the money and get triple the actual performance, with a smooth user experience, and no crashes or slow downs while something is trying to load in the background. My daughter’s m1 MacBook Air with only 8gb of ram runs circles around this crappy laptop with a cutting edge intel processor, 32gb of ram and 4tb of SSDs installed. And, don’t even think about using this for more than a couple of solid work hours. It will die faster than the amount of time it took me to write this glowing review. Bottom line, it’s soooo not worth it. But, hey. If you like a small block of hot aluminum in your lap with hot air blowing through its bottom situated vents while being tethered to a wall outlet or 20,000 ml battery pack, I’m not one to judge. You do you. I hate this piece of junk and regret buying it.

Seriously Impressed — This Laptop Handles It ALL
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t usually write reviews, but the Samsung Galaxy Book 5 has made such a difference in my daily life that I had to share. My husband and I run multiple businesses, and I needed a laptop that could keep up — not just with emails and spreadsheets, but with everything from marketing and bookkeeping to running meetings and content creation. This laptop does everything I need and more. One of my favorite features is how easily it connects with my Samsung phone. I can answer texts, share files, and even use apps straight from my laptop. It’s so convenient — I didn’t realize how much time I was wasting until I saw how seamless everything became. What really impressed me is how fast and smooth it runs, even when I’ve got a ton of windows and programs open. No lag, no freezing — just solid performance every time. Whether I’m switching between business tasks or handling things for my family, it keeps up without skipping a beat. If you’re a busy professional (or just someone who multitasks like crazy), this is the one. I’m so glad I invested in it — it’s truly become the heartbeat of my workday.

Why did I wait so long
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been a Samsung fan for a long time and have owned almost every model of its Galaxy phones. But this was the first time I purchased the GalaxyBook. I do not know why I waited so long. It has a sleek design, is easy to use, and all my info from my previous laptop (non-Samsung) transferred in minutes. The battery life is great, the display works for what I need.

Great computer
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Light and powerful. We're happy with our purchase. Employees got us exactly what we wanted even though we changed our minds from a 16" screen to a 14" screen. Fast delivery to the store, too.

Very portable and quick
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace my wife's Huawei Matebook X, which she dearly loves but is unfortunately not compatible with Windows 11. The Book5 Pro is slightly bigger and heavier than the Matebook, but is the closest we could get to the latter's look-and-feel. So far, it's working very well with several features (especially keyboard lighting) better than the old machine. It's only real detraction is the drab gray replacing the Matebook's beautiful satin finish.

Galaxy Book 5 pro
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like the Galaxy book 5 pro. I have a samsung tablet and phone too. Maybe the only downside is a little wobble when touching the screen as in highlighting email to delete. The 14 in size and portability is very convenient with super fast turn on when it's opened and response.
