Great customer service and I love my lap top!!! Excellent buy!!!

I purchased this to replace a 4-year-old LG Gram 16. I would have like d to have bought a new LG Gram but the new ones no longer have a fingerprint reader and a mini SD card reader which are important to me. After reading consumer reports I noticed that the highest rated laptops were still Apples and LG grams ....this Samsung was The next highly rated. After setting up the computer and implementing my preferred personalized settings I noticed a flaw. The trackpad had dead spots that would not respond to the two finger scroll up and scroll down. This is unfortunate as I like many other things about the computer. Oh and the size of the track pad is unnecessarily ginormous. It is so big that some of you might find your palm interfering with functions. I tweaked the settings and eliminated all three finger and four finger gestures to help eliminate palm interference. However the dead spots in the trackpad were the deal breaker and the reason I returned it. I'm giving three stars because it is an excellent laptop in many other ways. By the way this trackpad dead spot issue is not isolated many others have reported the same problem. I tried the recommended troubleshooting to no avail. Back to LG. Where life is good. When you spend this much on a laptop you expect it to operate 100%. Your chattels exist to serve you not vice versa. I returned the laptop and decided that I'm keeping my LG Gram a while longer.

Great for what it is, work and multi tasking, pretty screen and has a.i, and co piolet .. not so much for gaming and rendering..

Great laptop Very quick Touch screen responsive!

Based on its hardware, I should've given this laptop a 5 star rating. But after less than 6 months of usage, it's generous to give it a 2 star because of the driver software problem, not to mention it infamously lack of Windows 11 Hello login in 2025. After about 5 months, my Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro's physical keyboard frequently becomes useless. Following Samsung support page, I updated its keyboard driver and reboot it, it only temporarily fixed it. A couple of hours later, the problem resurfaces again. Calling Samsung Tech support didn't fix it, they just asked me to take it to service center that's more than 25 miles away. I'm not confident Samsung Service Center could fix it either because in the last a few days, I've tried to update its keyboard driver more than 7-8 times a day. The problem looks like a mismatched driver with WIN 11 25H2 package. Will Samsung notice this and come up with an updated driver soon???

This computer is very good, I highly recommend it.

While it works great, the settings i have for it and the way i use it in terms of battery life aren't living up to my expectations. The battery life as advertised is not over 20 hours and i use intensive tasks such as video editing and playing games on a lower charge even in silent mode. I wanted more space for my videos since i do over an hour of them, but 1tb is not enough since a lot of apps i am not using eat up a lot of space. I plan to get a new laptop preferably an intel core ultra 9 with 2tb of storage; i am going to sell my current laptop since i don't think i can return it anymore. Might as well compare intel ultra 7 and 9 to see what i can afford

It is a great laptop but the issue I had with this is the keyboard and the mouse.

I’m new to the laptop world and this has made it very easy for me to learn and navigate

Overall, it's a good laptop, though it does freeze occasionally.

The Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro is an outstanding, full size laptop that features the best display I have seen in a long time. I have been searching for a replacement for my daily driver and have not been satisfied with my options up to now. I wanted a new Intel processor based laptop that was well equipped in terms of speed, RAM and a large, fast SSD drive. I wanted a large, bright, display capable of displaying accurate colors and supporting HDR video. I also wanted a reasonable number of I/O ports capable of high speed transfer rates and WiFi 7 to match my new whole-home mesh network. Finally, I wanted a battery that would last all-day and offer quick recharging. I'm pleased to tell you that Samsung has ticked all the boxes with the Book5 Pro and more! My first reaction was that this sucker is BIG! I expected it to be too heavy and bulky for my needs. I was wrong. The laptop is less than a half inch thick and is amazingly lightweight at under 3.5 pounds. The case is made of aluminum and is rigid and feels good in your hands. The keyboard is full sized and the trackpad is almost comically huge. Again, I was concerned thinking that I would be creating false "clicks" simply by laying my palms on it but Samsung has tuned the sensitivity so that just doesn't happen for me. The performance is snappy and with 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD I have plenty of capacity for my workloads. The WiFi 7 based wireless connected flawlessly to my network and performs very well. But the star of the show is the 16" AMOLED display! Boasting a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate and 400 nits of brightness, this thing is gorgeous! The touch screen panel is sensitive and responsive and has an anti-reflective surface. I loaded drivers for HDR and Dolby and then found some YouTube sample videos to test the image. The picture (and sound!) is simply stunning. Battery life has met expectations and it does recharge pretty rapidly. The laptop incudes the now obligatory AI hardware. Intel features an imbedded NPU offering up to 47 TOPS of performance. More than adequate for the avalanche of applications to come. In summary - I am delighted with the Book5 Pro. I strongly encourage you to add it to your short-list if you are in the market for a premium laptop solution.
