I would have like d to have bought a new LG Gram but the new ones no longer have a fingerprint reader and a mini SD card reader which are important to me. After reading consumer reports I noticed that the highest rated laptops were still Apples and LG grams ....this Samsung was The next highly rated. After setting up the computer and implementing my preferred personalized settings I noticed a flaw. The trackpad had dead spots that would not respond to the two finger scroll up and scroll down. This is unfortunate as I like many other things about the computer. Oh and the size of the track pad is unnecessarily ginormous. It is so big that some of you might find your palm interfering with functions. I tweaked the settings and eliminated all three finger and four finger gestures to help eliminate palm interference. However the dead spots in the trackpad were the deal breaker and the reason I returned it. I'm giving three stars because it is an excellent laptop in many other ways. By the way this trackpad dead spot issue is not isolated many others have reported the same problem. I tried the recommended troubleshooting to no avail. Back to LG. Where life is good. When you spend this much on a laptop you expect it to operate 100%. Your chattels exist to serve you not vice versa. I returned the laptop and decided that I'm keeping my LG Gram a while longer.
