Finally, A Galaxy Bud That Fits!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I've tried all the previous Galaxy Bud offerings, and none of them fit my ear properly, as they'd always just fall out, even with the large tips. In fact, the only earbuds that have ever fit me well, of all the many I've tired, are the Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport, and those are $400 earbuds. All that to say, that for a mere 70 bucks (on sale), the Buds FE are THE perfect fit, for me anyways. I can wear them all day at work (8 hours), and they never budge, nor have I had to adjust them even once. While they don't have the same soundstage or overall sound quality as the MW08 Sport (nor would I expect them, given the price difference), they DO sound great, even better than some of the $100-$200 earbuds I've tried over the years. If you're on a Samsung device, as I am (S22 Ultra), you get the benefit of the Samsung Seamless Codec being the default codec choice, which previously was only available to the Buds 2 Pro. It's a notch above the more common Samsung Scalable Codec, as it can also decode higher quality audio. Comfort wise, they feel fine in ear, though after about 4-5 hours it can cause some discomfort, at least for me anyways, though nothing bad enough to take them out of my ears. The case is plenty small to fit in a pocket with ease, so no worries there. Took about 2 hours to fully charge the case, with the Buds in it. The lack of wireless charging is a non-factor to me, as I never use that anyways, though I can understand to some it might be an issue. The noise cancelling I can't speak on, as I have not tried it myself. The app says both buds need to be in your ear in order to utilize it though, can't just do one like some other brands can. At 70 bucks though on sale, I'll make the bold claim that you won't find a better earbud at or near that price point. Even for 100 bucks, they'd still be well worth it!

These were nice fir a little while but didnt last long. I bought in August and they started acting up probably about May. Going to replace soon (August). On calls, the microphone goes out after about 8 minutes. I can hear the person perfectly, but they can't hear me.

I received the Galaxy buds FE on 5/31 and after 7 days the left side earbud has been acting up giving out static noise. On phone calls, everyone says i sound far away and when i put the left earbud in the case and only use the right, people can hear me just fine. As of 6/15 they are no longer returnable to best buy so i went back to using my Blue Galaxy Buds+ which still work just fine and i dont have issues when taking phone calls.

If you're looking for clear sound, long-lasting battery life, and a comfortable design, Samsung earbuds deliver. The audio is clear and balanced, with deep, non-saturating bass and well-defined highs. They're perfect for listening to music, podcasts, or watching videos without missing a beat. The Bluetooth connection is fast and stable, even when you're slightly away from your phone. They're compatible with Samsung devices, but they also work perfectly on Android and iOS. As for battery life, they offer up to 5-8 hours of continuous use (depending on the model), and the charging case adds several extra charges. They also feature fast charging, so a few minutes connected gives you hours of playback. The design is lightweight and ergonomic, they fit well in the ear and don't fall out easily, even during exercise. Some models include water and sweat resistance, making them ideal for workouts. Strengths: Clear, quality sound Long-lasting battery life Stable and fast connection

Why Pay $229? These Are Just as Good for $69!

After losing my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro ($229) several times, I needed another replacement but didn’t want to spend that much again. I took a chance on the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE ($69), and honestly? I can’t tell the difference in daily use. Sound & ANC – Shockingly Good for the Price The sound is crisp, clear, and well-balanced, just like the Buds 2 Pro. While the Pros have dual drivers for slightly richer audio, unless you’re an audiophile, you won’t notice. ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) is also solid—not as advanced as the Pros, but still blocks out most noise. Fit & Comfort – More Secure Than Buds 2 Pro The wing tips actually help these stay in place better than my Buds 2 Pro did, especially when working out. They’re slightly bigger, but not uncomfortable. Battery Life – Even Better Than the Pro Buds FE: 8.5 hours per charge (30 hours with case) Buds 2 Pro: 5 hours per charge (18 hours with case) The extra battery life makes a difference, especially during long days. Charging – No Wireless, But Who Cares? One small trade-off is that the Buds FE charging case doesn’t support wireless charging, so you need to plug in a USB-C cable. The Buds 2 Pro case could charge on a wireless pad or via Wireless PowerShare from a Samsung phone. For a $160 price difference, I don’t mind using a cable. What’s Missing? – Not a Dealbreaker! Yes, they lack wireless charging, IPX7 water resistance, and 360 Audio, but for the price, these are minor trade-offs. The sound, ANC, and fit are what really matter—and these deliver. Final Verdict – $69 vs. $229? No Brainer. The Buds 2 Pro are great, but are they really worth $229 when the Buds FE are this good for $69? For less than a third of the price, you’re getting great sound, ANC, secure fit, and better battery life. Unless you absolutely need 24-bit audio, wireless charging, and IPX7 water resistance, save your money and get these instead.

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE Wireless Earbud Headphones in Graphite, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. The sound quality is outstanding, offering clear highs, rich mids, and surprisingly deep bass for such compact earbuds. Whether I'm listening to music, podcasts, or taking calls, the audio experience is consistently excellent. The fit is incredibly comfortable, even during long sessions. They come with multiple ear tip sizes, so finding the perfect fit was a breeze. The snug design also provides decent passive noise isolation, which is great for blocking out background noise. Battery life is impressive, lasting hours on a single charge, and the case provides additional charges to get me through the day. My only issue is that the case doesn't have wireless charging, which would have been a nice touch. That said, I rarely have to charge during the day because the earbuds last all day with ease. Pairing with my devices was seamless, and the connection remains strong and stable even when I’m moving around. The touch controls are intuitive and customizable, making it easy to adjust volume, skip tracks, or take calls without reaching for my phone. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE deliver premium quality at a great price point. If you’re in the market for wireless earbuds that combine style, performance, and value, these are a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Dang they're really good for 80 bucks!! (Sorry not sorry about the long review, just skip to the end for the bottom line.) I'm usually more of a top(ish) of the line buyer, but let's face it - I like champagne but I'm on more of a beer budget. I really liked the Samsung something buds that came in dark blue and were sort of triangularly shaped (from like maybe 4 years ago?). They gave out after 3 years and then I washed them so...(And don't get me started on those stupid little slippery shiny beans that Samsung came up with next.) Since I have owned a few Pixels by now, I was excited to grab the latest Google buds. They sound great, but want to know where these designers are getting their degrees from, or maybe they slept through their ergonomy lectures, because I don't know whose ears their recent models of various brands fit without falling out. It's like are they even beta testing their stuff on real ears??? Because why would you sell buds without fins? (It's not just Google. Apparently it is the latest rage.) My ear canals are too petite to shove them in brute force, so it was like trying to keep marbles in my ears from falling out.) So after my Google buds remained a fail no matter how I hacked them, I felt foolish spending a ton of money so I got these FE ones as a replacement when the price dropped. And I am super impressed. They securely stay in my ears on the job site, are comfortable for hours, the ANC makes my day so peaceful (It cuts down machine noise, and I can't hear people talking at all!), and they sound really good with both speech and music!!! Like really clear and rich, not thin or tinny or too bassy or muddled. Way, way better than I expected for 80 bucks!! (Yeah, there's that quibble when the ANC picks up particular noises in a particular way (I can't even remember now, it doesn't really happen that often, maybe once a week in several hours daily use, like lets say I scrape something inside a closet or something), then it suddenly amplifies that sound for a couple seconds. It's not horrible, just a little startling. Would I buy them again? 100% absolutely, 10 thumbs up.
