Because of the color but color means nothing these bad boys smack!!!! They probably need charge once or twice a week and I use them 8 to 10 hours a day. They stand up to heat and sweat. The noise cancellation is superb. If you have not got a pair grab them soon. The quality is prime...

In other words - cancelled background noise when calling. Headsets do this but have not found earbuds that do.
