I really wanted to like this Chromebook. Great build quality on par with Pixelbook, and it looks really good. Great display and keyboard. It's fast as well. Cons...it's a little heavy, tends to get warm and the fans are loud. Once they kick it they don't want to turn off. Speakers are above average but underpowered. They are on the bottom so sometimes they sound muffled. Not the greatest for spoken word, movies, etc. I found the HP x-360 Core I-3 a much better experience for media consumption and quietness.

Fantastic device with good balance of performance (i3/8GB RAM/128GB storage) to price. I use the device all day long both on the road (great battery life) and tethered & docked to a larger monitor. I use 'Linux Beta' as both my terminal as well as to run VS code and other linux applications to perform SW development. Chrome browser runs well and I don't notice any real slowdown as number of tabs increases. video calls are smooth and device runs cool most of the time & when compute load persists it has a fan (pretty quiet too) that keeps things running smooth * keyboard is easy to type w & has back lighting for those rare occasions when useful * screen (1920 x 1080) is bright & great resolution. I don't love the aspect ration (16;9) but putting the 'shelf' on the side helps mitigate that. * ports: two usb-c (1 on each side), trrs audio & usd * wireless: BT & wifi have been great both speed & reliability solid for me across many peripherals & coffee shop (mobile) days Best chromebook under $700 ... probably better than pixelbook go (slightly newer, has fan for cooling). DO NOT by the celeron / 4GB model though.

My lenova's keyboard just randomly stopped working so I needed a new laptop for work. This chromebook might be smaller in screen size than my old laptop but it works just as good and with a lot of the similar features. I love that the keys are lit so I can see better in low light areas and that I can easily flip it as a tablet when needed. The battery, though, is my favorite. It lasts pretty much all day compared to my lenova which only maybe got me a 3 hour day in before i needed to plug it in. It is sleek and lightweight so easily portable too. It's perfect for working or getting school work completed.

Loving my new Chromebook! Been using it for a few weeks, taken it on a few overseas trips, and am very happy with it. It requires WiFi and has limited saving to device but with a cloud drive you can have unlimited space. It's fast enough, light enough, and holds charge for a good period. I would recommend.

Wanted a decent Chromebook for work travel. Work is all Google Workspaces so chromebooks fit the bill. Slides and Sheets works fine, the i3 / 8MB is sufficient. The color is fire, stands out from the pack. Processor will start showing it’s age soon (it was a generation behind even when it first came out anyway), but if I get a couple years out of this I’ll be happy.

Looks great, runs well, and has a good battery for the price. I love how slim it is and how easily I can manage all my apps as well.

Love the color. Easy to set up. Decent storage. Fairly fast when using. The flip/touch screen is a cool feature. I enjoy this chrome book. I haven’t had any issues with it so far.

SAMSUNG made a little beast with this Chromebook. The display is super crisp and colors are vibrant. This thing is quick too. I added a 512gb microsd to mine for increased storage and i couldnt be happier. I was a apprehensive about pulling the trigger on this Chromebook but ChromeOS has come a long way over the last few years and continues to get better. It integrated into my Google smart home seamlessly too. 4.5/5

So far good chromebook. It is chrombook which is different running things compare to windows or Mac. Cause of the size of labtop the keyboard is missing keys that some would usually have n the same with slots n inputs... there's two USB c inputs but if you have a regular USB mouse to input, you would need a USB converter, only one slot for micro SD, the volume on side n power button as well on the side. Camera is ok and the screen is amazing, sound is pretty good compare to other chrombooks. Very light so I enjoy typing on lap and the more I use n found more about im glad I brought it cause I just needed something to use school, surf the web, n watch my Hulu shows n movies.

Absolutely love this tablet/laptop. I have a samsung galaxy s23 phone and was able to connect the two samsung items to auto sync making it extremely easy to use and save photos and documents. The laptop is very lightweight and battery lasts for a good amount of time. I use it for personal use, only down side is that microsoft office is not compatible to be downloaded.
Great speed, performance and great battery life. Great device for being on the go due to the apps available and with it being touchscreen makes it even better when folded.

Purchased this for my daughter and she loves it. The processor is fast enough to handle online gaming that she does along with web browsing and school tasks. The build quality is excellent. They keyboard and trackpad are a delight to use. It's light and very portable. We've not used the webcam or built-in microphones. With the speakers, you need to plug in to hear sound if there is any noise in the area. I would gladly use this device for my own online tasks.

I gave the Galaxy Chromebook 2 a chance, actually I tried 2 different ones; the red and then gray. The first one, red color; I thought it was defective and returned. The second one I ordered in gray it also had the same issues. I'll first say that this is a very nice chromebook. I do like the screen, it is bright and vivid. It has all the ports, minus a USB A port. The sound is wonderful for bottom firing speakers. Weight was not too bad. Backlit keyboard was very nice and you can adjust the brightness of the keys. It looks great. Reasons I returned the Galaxy Chromebook 2. Both did not auto rotate the screen, you had to manually press a couple keys for it to rotate. When playing certain Youtube videos, especially someone just speaking, like watching a review on Chrome Unboxed; the voice sounded good then would get tinny. Battery life I would get roughly 7 hours and that is dimming the screen and having up to 3 tabs open in Google Chrome. Backlit keyboard would not turn off after some time. All Reasons I thought the first Galaxy Chromebook was defective. Then got the 2nd one thinking all would be work better. But still that 2nd one did the same things that bothered me. If I'm going to spend that much money with 2 year warranty on a premium chromebook, I want that chromebook to perform flawlessly. And the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 did not. I did purchase another premium chromebook from a different manufacturer and this one works so much better than the Galaxy Chromebook 2 and it was much less expensive. It was not the Acer Spin 713, I did not like the speaker sound and the 3:2 screen aspect ratio was not for me. Another reviewer confirmed that the Galaxy Chromebook 2 will not screen auto rotate. If you can live with those issues I experienced, then this is a good chromebook for you.
Great Chromebook. Lightweight, compact & fast. Comes with amazing features and its amazing how it can fold in half for a tablet or for viewing media.

Compact, lightweight Chromebook with super high resolution and comfortable-to-use keyboard. Touch screen is a nice feature. Only wish it didn't need a Bluetooth mouse - I like the dongle required accessory better. Features a good amount of processing and functionality at a fraction of the cost of a laptop.
