The beast that started it all. All 9f the generations of these fold phones, i have had now and there will never be a release like the original fold here. Came with 512GB of storage, a carbon fiber like case and some wireless galaxy buds. Because you dont get that any longer with the other folds that followed this phone and even though a few people had issues with their original, once i was done with mine, i sold to a friend and its STILL kicking so there you have it. I didn't have an issue with mine.

Great device. As a disclaimer, I've been following this phone for some time and really looking forward to it. I kicked around pre-ordering but held off given that it's first gen tech. After the troubles with the initial launch, I felt justified in doing so. After the re-launch in the fall, I closely followed the reviews. Ultimately, found a return model for a good discount and decided to take the plunge. I am glad that I did. My other phone is Note 9 and I have to admit that the biggest change for me is the lack of the S-pen. I love the pen and the ability to take notes on the fly, and this is the biggest change I've struggled. The phone itself is a joy to use. The front screen is big enough to do basic texting and web reading on. It feels like a throw-back to smaller phone days (and feels somewhat nostalgic in my mind). The main show is the foldable screen, and it is simply gorgeous. I had been using an iPad Mini, and it has gotten minimal use since getting the Fold. The screen is good size and it has spoiled my use of any other phone screen. Video aspect ratio can be a bit variable, but otherwise no complaints. I've not had to baby the phone and it is holding up well. The crease is something that is not entirely noticeable to me, particularly when looking at it straight on. Battery is fantastic, easily getting two days of my use, though on days with heavier screen use, it will need to be charged that night. Overall, no buyer's remorse from me. My biggest compliant, coming from the Note series is the lack of S-Pen, but the trade-off is worth the gain. As a last note, if you are looking at this phone at this point in time (May 2020), I would encourage to consider waiting for version 2 later this year, to see what changes will be made -- unless you are able to get at a discount or have the financing to support it.

This phone is something different, since first iPhone came out It's pleasure to use, screen is amazing bit expensive but it's cheaper then buy flagship phone and a tablet.

As a phone it is incredible! It folds! Maxed out specs. Not a phone to beat around, but its incredible tech. Not for entry level people. I was very careful with this phone and still went through 3 of them due to dead pixels in 2 of them and one the outside main camera glass cracked. Galaxy buds are horrible compared to airpods. Carbon fiber case is great outside its not thick enough to cover camera lense. Other issues I didn't care about all deal with android. Samsung email app is horrible. Dex works awesome. Love the profile and feel in the hand. Very premium and noticeably heavier then most phones. Note 10+ is just as nice but doesn't fold for half the price.

One of the best model i ever used. I would suggest everyone to try fold.

Obviously, this is now a 1-year-old phone but it had broke ground for being one the first foldables to hit the market. It's expensive; but more importantly, it's a device you need to take care of since it has no water or dust resistance and since the inner screen is very delicate. At this time, for the money, I would opt for the second edition of the Galaxy Fold where many improvements have been made in features and even durability though still not perfect.

OMG. I LOVE THE FOLD!!! I have had every Samsung Note. Huge Fan. I bought this and 1 year later Im so happy. Can never no back. Nice compact phone when folded, nice tablet to work on or watch video/movies on. Camera is excellent and NO I don't have any issues with the crease or the screen. Upgrading to the Fold 2 and keeping this one as a back up, just in case.

Nice camera with two screens display easy to use with one hand

This brick phone houses a lot of power. I am an It Analyst and this phone is my daily driver. I take all my early morning meetings through this as it hosts a bigger display. Battery lasts till evening if used frequently throughout the day, but it totally depends on your usage. Camera quality is also great.

I absolutely love this phone I use it for literally everything, the crease doesn't bother me at all , phone itself works flawlessly price tag is almost worth it , if only it came with an S pen

The Fold is an awesome phone! It is cutting edge technology at it's best. Yes, it's expensive but if you earn a living that allows to be able to afford afford it, then why not. Yes, Yes, you should handle it with care, but wouldn't you take care of any anything that you spent your hard earned cash on. If you you love tech and can afford it, it's worth every penny!

I’m a iPhone person so I was skeptical trying this phone . The foldable touch screen is the future for phones . The camera is amazing and food mode makes my food pics standout. The screen is big and clear . The multifunction ability is great

This phone is amazing!! The 4.6 display is manageable, (it's not bad at all) But when the phone is opened to the 7.3 display lookout, it's a head Turner! The screen is made of Polimer Plastic, making the screen delicate. So if you are use to the glass and slab, pressing down or tapping on your screen, or even placing the phone in your back pocket, this may not be the phone for you, as some may deem this phone a high maintenance phone. However, I have had mine since December 23rd, 2019, and it works just great! Samsung just sent an update, UI 2.0 which is a credit to the operation of the phone, besides the 512gb Rom and 12gb ram. The camera takes great pictures, and the grafics are just great! What more can I say? I am a satisfied customer. Can't wait for the Galaxy Fold 2 5g.

Good screen, good for small business example running a food truck vendor any small vendors. to me it feels like you're going to break a screen. Nice motive but not to keep for along time. but the older people loved it, seeing a big screen sure made them happy.

This phone is a rock. The fold, the back light and the open book screen is unique. The feel when held is handy and full. It is comforting and its a confidence builder. Its such a calm cool product that needs no upgrade.

This phone is amazing. Extremely overpriced but I bought open box so it saved me about $500. It's like having a mini computer. I have people stop to check it out. I also like that when you have the phone closed, the front has a smaller screen you can use.

So I broke down and bought this phone. I had the z flip for 24 hours and returned. It’s a phone that folds. The fold is so much more. I can’t stop using it. Much sturdier than I thought. I actually like the outside screen as well. Very fun and productive phone. Game changer.

i got this unlocked from Best Buy ... truly the holy grail of all "phones" / multi-purpose device samsung DeX comes pre-installed so just get a usb-c-to-hdmi cable to directly connect to a screen, no docking station needed, and this phone will behave just like a chromebook [front phone screen will become a touchpad] ignore the 'expert' reviews by all those apple shills...go ahead & try the demo @ Best Buy ... any mature adult knows how to handle a special like this destined to leave iphones (already several generations behind, steve jobs stole iOS from an open source linux distro variant) in the dust front & main screen can do live wallpapers, picture-in-picture for amazon videos/youtube/googleplay movies has dolby atmos, try that game Modern Warplanes on the main screen ;) this is the donald j. trump of phones, expensive but a real workhorse innovation at the helm, go space force!
