Makes and receives calls. Plays games well. Links to the internet well. If you've never had a real cell phone this is for you. Does not do music or notes or anything windows-based at all very few applications work on it.

Bought it as a gift to mother-in-law. It was a breeze to configure it. This is a good smartphone starter for her. My wife and I loved it. I am sure her mother too. One thing which made me give only 4 stars is the short battery life.
