It is a great phone which is not extremely costly.

I needed to purchase a Samsumg phone to replace one that wouldn't charge. This one was the right price and works well. It is smaller than my previous one but I have many of the same features.

I've always had an I phone so its taking some adjusting. The phone freezes a lot and it can be frustrating. I think I would go back to an I-phone..I will update my review if my opinion changes.

The Samsung Galaxy J3 is perfect for my mobile uses. Compact and easy to find what I'm looking for. I have a larger screen LG that I like for everyday use, but the Samsung is good to travel.

This samsung j3 unlocked phone came in unlocked as advertised however the phone had pin lock by prev user and i had to factory reset to get it off. Just use caution on buying open box item.

I bought this phone to use on my att service. I also needed a phone I could use outside the US. I took it to Israel for 3 weeks and was able to buy service to use it in Israel. It worked great.

The J3 is a quality phone for a low price. It has all the functionality of the big name name Samsung phones but doesn't have the to end features that beginning users don't really need.

I have been using iphones since 2015 and needed a phone for my wife. My son broker her previous phone which was samsung J3. Sony Xperia has so many more features than Samsung. It's really worth it. The feature that enables us to super impose animation on a video is really enjoyed by my 2 year old son.

Unable to use wireless charging pads, even with adapters because it doesn't have the brass contacts in the battery compartment needed for those adapters. No NFC for Google Pay, etc. Very good basic smart phone. My wife doesn't like a lot of features anyway ... she also has it in perpetual "granny mode" (Easy Home). It is complicated to get the shortcuts in the preferred order as you can't drag them like in normal mode ... but that's her own fault.

The phone has all functions required: call, text, web, online applications, ... The only issue is its camera. It is too outdated. Autofocusing is very slow, very average picture quality.

Samsung galaxy J3 is a great small smartphone. We are using it in out test lab and it it's performing well. Solid build, good functionality..

We purchased this phone for my youngest son. He has ended up using it primarily for playing games. He really enjoys it. Good size screen for games, yet small enough for him to hold easily.

Needed a replacement after my note 4 crapped out after an update. Phone works great, some minor lag when I push it hard and average camera, but great purchase for a phone under $200

I Just got the phone transferred to straight talk a few wks ago. Still trying to figure out how to use all the features. Its different from the galaxy s4 the phone I had before the J3.

I had a Windows phone (Nokia 640) ... So, so far this has been an Ok replacement... The battery seems to run down much faster than the phone I was replacing... Time will tell....

This is my first smartphone. For the most part it works perfectly. However, some of my apps have started to crash unexpectedly, I do not know if it's the phone's fault or my own.

This was a replacement phone for my husbands Galaxy S4. The format is very similar and works great. He loves it, but wishes the black one had been available instead of white.

No funny fruit business (apple) with my music on my phone. The I-phone is beginning to smell like a rotten apple. Samsung is definitely the way to go for communication.

I bought this phone for my daughter. I own a Samsung J5 and I wanted a similar one, but they did not have it in the store, so I went with the J3. So far it is working well.
