My favorite Samsung phone thus far. I have had others but this one seems to top them all as a prepaid phone.

This is the first smart phone i have owned that can push virtual reality apps! It is really nice to be able to view VR apps and see things I would not or could not otherwise see. And my android smart phone is on an unlimited everything plan so I can text, browse, watch movies,( though I detest movie watching on small screens. Prefer 60 inch smart tv for that. :) ) and do everything I want. Takes great video and pics for posting etc. Love this phone.

Bought this for my son. Price was reasonable & is just as nice as the more expensive cell phones.

I like the phone - it's size is just right for me with it's 5" HD touchscreen. It has nice features and an easy to read screen. Only negatives are I wasn't able to get a shield to cover the front of the phone and am noticing scratches already on the screen. Also I couldn't get a cover for the phone yet due to lack of supply.

Camera quality is mediocre. Voice to text feature only works for Google searches. Poor sound quality at times. My son says it's "just ok" and my husband complains bitterly and wants his old iPhone 5C back. But battery life is way better than any iPhone!!

I just bought the J3 Emerge with Virgin Mobile today and I totally absolutely love it. I am coming from the LG Stylo 2 same carrier. And I love the J3 Emerge far more. Now for all you tech savvy people out there here's some awesome specs for you that maybe the Best Buy website doesn't have listed: a 5 inch 720p HD display NOT an Amoled display. Comes with a 1.4 GHZ Snapdragon 430 processor Adreno 308 @598MHZ. Can take up to a 256GB sdcard. has 1.5GB of ram. Duel band Wi-Fi (2.4/5.0Ghz). 5MP rear cam w/1080p 30FPS video recording with flash. 2MP front facing cam w/ 720p 30FPS video recording. Comes with 16GB of internal memory. About 10GB of storage out of the box. Roughly 8-9GB of available storage after you update all the apps. 9.2GB for me because I don't need all the apps. VERY LITTLE bloatware. Call quality is outstanding id give that an easy 8.5-9 out of 10. Better than my LG Stylo 2. 5MP camera quality? absolutely amazing. Doesn't auto focus a lot but the quality itself is amazing. 1080p recording? I loved it. Sound quality with the video? OMG I LOVED it. And the phone actually has some weight to it after you put in the 2,600 mAh battery. Battery is amazing no problems there. OH and the Galaxy J3 Emerge comes with its own cleaning system under Device Management in the Settings (settings are different this time around. Its not in different sections now its just one semi long vertigo listing and each setting has their own settings within them. Its a pretty cool way Samsung did the Settings in this phone) you can check the Ram how much internal storage you have and Battery usage and theres other things under each of those. Pretty cool. Now I love this phone so much even though its only day 1 for me but I also did a review of this phone on my YouTube channel GTX Gaming & Reviews. Check out the review for more details.OH and btw NO lagging OR stuttering and NO crashes. The Snapdragon 430 with the 1.4GHZ processor has been supper snappy and it hasn't given me ANY issues.
