Reliable tablet for kids. Simply, works. Storage expanded to add and move apps to SD Card. Easy to use, disable WiFi, traveled to China and Japan with it so worked great on planes with long battery life. This was a quick replacement from buying Amazon Fire 7. Day after I bought that one got multiple certificate errors, level 3 troubleshooting, prime videos hanged, you name it. Thank You Samsung.

Bought this for my son's 2nd birthday. Most of the games are still pretty advanced for him but I'm sure we're keeping this tablet for many years and he can grow into them. Love the fact it comes with a silicone case. He's dropped it a few times but it didn't affect it and the case does a great job protecting the tablet. Also love the parent lock feature. The games in the kid section that can be downloaded fill up the storage space quickly so it might be a good idea to buy a memory card. No complaints with this tablet it's everything I was looking for my son and more.

I bought this tablet for my 3 year old to use occasionally. I love the parental controls and that you can switch out of kids mode and use as a regular tablet. i like the wide screen which makes it easier for Us to stay engaged on the learning apps. Very easy to trouble shoot issues and great connectivity.

He was already familiar with Samsung tablets from his sisters so was easy for him to use. We don't use the kid mode, just delete everything on the tablet that isn't kid friendly and hide the apps you can't delete that he wouldn't use. The camera is not very good and for some reason they keep putting the speakers on the back of the tablet. So they don't think it's very loud but anyone in front of them go deaf. The screen in not the greatest, very slim viewing angles and feels kind if cheap. The case around it is essential. There isn't a lot of internal storage but SD cards are cheap

I bought two for my 6 yrs old and 3 yrs old boys so they wouldn't fight over them. The battery life is great and we love that we can download apps from the google play store. It's easy enough for them to use. My kids love their tablets so much that they would play them all day and night if we let them. Only downside is that there's no camera on the front of the tablet, which wouldn't be a problem if they didnt like to use messenger kids to video chat with family. Thats why it's only 4 stars to me. Other than that, the tablet is great.

After researching a kid friendly tablet for my (2) 2 year old grandsons I decided on the Samsung E Lite. Glad I did. Perfect size for their little hands, parent controlled and easy for this age to use and explore.

We bought this for my kids for a road trip. The battery lasted the entire length of the trip! The trip was 8 hours and they weren’t on it the entire time but between the two of them it lasted! It has been thrown across rooms, dropped down the stairs, out of the car and withheld all damages! We didn’t download any applications but they do love making videos and the speed remains as fast as it was the day we got it. The sound is extremely good in quality, beyond what we expected. The only downsides to the this tablet are the quality of the pictures and the fact that it doesn’t have two cameras, just the one at the back. The quality of the pictures and videos is very, very low. Not at all what we expected of Samsung but for the price I guess you get what you pay for on that one. Secondly the fact that even young children like to take pictures of themselves or download an app where they can FaceTime family and friends is not an option because there is no camera on the face of the tablet. Overall, for the price you pay you cannot beat this tablet! We’ve had it now for just over a month and it is used daily by one or more of my younger children and it works the same as it did the day of purchase. It’s easy to clean and charges quickly. I would definitely recommend this product!

Good battery life and easy to navigate light and has sturdy case to prevent cracking the screen

Was in the market for a tablet for my daughter. This seemed to be a good fit. Setup was annoying. Way too much stuff to do. I prefer apple for its simplicity. But, after I got it setup, everything works great. The kids zone it comes with is cool. Lots of learning apps. My daughter likes it. Use it to stream Netflix, Disney Jr, etc. would definitely recommend upgrading the memory. Battery lasts and it doesn't freeze. Camera isn't all that great and no front facing camera. Overall, thumbs up.

I bought 4 of this for my little grandkids and they love them very easy to use and the fact that it comes with a rubber protector makes it a better deal I got them for $70 on special

Tablet was simple to use for my 4 year old and I like the kids app that allowed her to watch kid friendly videos and play kid friendly games. I also liked that I had parental controls I could set to ensure what she had access too. The case works really well too as the tablet has been dropped on multiple occasions. Overall a great starter tablet if you want to give your kid a “real” tablet that is a lot cheaper then an iPad.

My daughter had the Nabi Tablet before she got this one and I love this oneeee. So easy to use, not bulky, and plus, the warranty was cheaper than the actual tablet :)

This is a good quality budget tablet that is well spec'd for its intended user: kids. Hardware is essentially identical to the Galaxy Tab E Lite, but for $10 more it comes with a bumper (no need to buy an additional case) and the Samsung Kids app pre-installed (and with a 3 month free subscription - $5/mo thereafter if you want to retain access). Out of the box, it will behave just like Tab E Lite until you create a Samsung account and sign into the kids app. The quality of the screen is good, but not great. Viewing angles, colors, brightness and touch sensitivity are certainly not as good as a higher end Galaxy tab or iPad, but for the price point, it is solid enough. For a tab that was released just a few months ago, I'm surprised and a little disappointed it doesn't come with Android 5.0 (lollipop), and in late May Samsung doesn't currently offer a lollipop update for this tab. I'm optimistic that Samsung will offer an update in the near future. Other than that, it's relatively snappy, plays all the games my kid likes (jetpack joyride, subway surfer, etc.) smoothly, and it's a solid little budget tab that is good deal at retail price and a great deal if you can catch it at the current sale price.

Excellent product, my two daughters loves it. I bought two, one for each one and I pay one membership to have full access to all games. Works fantastically.

We bought this tablet for our 6 year old and it's been a great purchase. The outer case is easy to clean, has a great feel and saves the expense of a separate case. The tablet is simply a very good Samsung piece of hardware. The Google Apps preloaded are pretty good and is easy enough to use the parental controls to limit time on it. Overall the price a features makes this a great choice.

We highly recommend this tablet for your toddler. It has great battery life it’s simple to use and has great apps for learning and growing.

Here's why we returned this tablet after one day: 1) The kids mode is glitchy and doesn't truly lock kids out of the main user interface. The drawing app crashed multiple times, sometimes backing out into kids mode but sometimes crashing the kids mode and backing into the main Android interface. This defeats the purpose of having a lockable kids mode where they can only access pre approved apps. 2) You cannot uninstall the subscription based Samsung Kids app. That and the other bloatware meant that we started running out of space after about 24 hours, despite having a 64gb micro SD card. Most apps can only be downloaded to the internal memory. Other problems: -There is only one rear facing speaker and it is exactly where a toddlers legs are when she holds it on her lap. The volume in the store sounded good because it was bouncing off a solid surface. In real life, the volume was insufficient. -To let two different kids use it, you have to set up separate users, each with their own version of kids mode, and manually (as the parent) back out of kids mode, sign into a different Google user account, and then relaunch kids mode. -Poor viewing angles: it's difficult for two kids to watch at the same time. -Samsung flips the back button from the left side to the right side. Not a deal breaker, just weird. In general, the Samsung UI seemed less intuitive than stock Android. -We were given a lot of misinformation from the Samsung reps about other tablets at Best Buy we were considering. Positives -The device seems solidly built. -The bumper fits well. -It's nice to easily add a restricted user. Although that's a feature of Android Lollipop, not all tablets support this.

I found out that the tablet it’s a good device for kids not an expensive device very easy to use and can be carry anywhere due to its size

Great for kids games, movies,books,great Hd screen speaker on back so not to loud for kids, great parental control!

Bought this tablet for my toddler it's really easy to use and really durable. I like it that it comes with a case.
