    Great productivity tool

The Note 20 Ultra is a great device. It is pricey, and that's really my only complaint about it, but it is a really handy tool for productivity and communication. The best thing about the Note 20 Ultra is the battery. It lasts long and charges fairly quickly. A full day of moderate use leaves me with around 50% charge at night, and a day of heavy use ends with around 35%. If I have barely used my phone, I don't need to plug it in at night and can get two days out of the battery. Multitasking is also great on this phone. I upgraded from a Galaxy S8 Plus, and it struggled with multitasking during my last several months with the phone, especially running Android Auto, Spotify, and Maps or Waze. The Note 20 Ultra is plenty fast and powerful, no lag switching between apps or during/after using Android Auto. The S Pen is great and incredibly useful. The screen looks really nice. The ability to add a microSD card is very nice because the camera produces such large photos and videos. The camera is great and has plenty of customizable settings, plus photo and video quality is excellent for a smartphone. I almost never go beyond 5x zoom (which is still optical), 10x at the most and only occasionally. I wouldn't choose to zoom beyond 10x on this camera, and I definitely see no point in maxing it out at 50x. If I need the best quality photos, I have a Sony A6500 and a couple of really fantastic lenses. For me, having a nice, useable camera in my pocket is great for times when I don't have my Sony camera, but no smartphone will ever replace my mirrorless ILC and arsenal of lenses. Overall, the Samsung Note 20 Ultra is a great smartphone absolutely worth recommending and a really nice upgrade from the GS8+. However, as much as I like it, I'm going to ding Samsung for the high price. Try to get it when there's a sale or if you have a lot of rewards certificates.

I bought the phone at August 26 and I didn't get the chance to open the phone until the next day. When I finally had the chance to open the phone, the screen is SCRATCHED. I was surprised on how this even got passed through Samsungs production line. I don’t know if its just me but my screen is having some ghosting issues I think. Every time I open any app, the apps on my home screen appear and it disappears within 4-5 seconds. I called samsung and they didn’t really helped. I called bestbuy and the employee helped me out way better. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS ONLY MY UNIT THAT IS DEFECTIVE, no guarantees on what happens to your device that you get, OVERALL I recommend this phone, CAMERA IS GREAT, 120HZ IS AMAZING, THE COLOR FEELS AMAZING.

What can I say about this amazing device that can't be seen online already. I have always owned a galaxy phone all the way up to last years s10+. This year I decided to purchase my 1st note and it has exceeded my expectations especially the speed due to the 12gb RAM... This device can handle anything you throw at it multi-tasking at its finest. The display is beautiful and I love the 120hz refresh rate it makes a huge difference. Battery life is excellent and the super charger that comes with the phone charges from 5% to 100% in 1 hour 15 min...it does everything fast . 5 stars for me great job samsung way to kick apple s butt once again.

I use my phone for business and personal use. This is my first note and definitely is a phablet. Its huge, but its so much easier to write emails than ever before. I'm coming from a s9+ and this phone is just so much faster. I'm loving the big screen, the speaker is very loud, and the stylus is very cool. I'm not sure how much I'll use it, but it is nice to have and I'm practicing with it just in case. I can't say enough. It was very easy to transfer everything from the old phone to this one. I'm loving it so far. I did by the otterbox hard case and a zagg antimicrobial screen. Overall a great phone and the battery life is amazing.

Love the new Samsung Note 20 5g, i purchased two the same day, one for me and one for my daughter. She had the Note 10 and i upgraded from my Note 8 hand me down of my daughters. We are both very happy with our phones but for me it was a huge upgrade from the Note 8. The speed of the phone plus the camera and the battery life are just a few of the features i like best. And as always the people at Best Buy have always been great in helping us transfer our old data to our new phones. I will always buy my cell phones from Best Buy.

To start off with this is the best Samsung phone out there at this point Pros: - Great build and design - Best of class screen - Good speakers - S pen is excellent - Probably the best cameras in any smartphone Cons - It gets hot during extended use. This can get uncomfortable if you are using without a case - Battery life is average per charge. Given its 120hz screen the battery is definitely not the best performer out there. This is probably my biggest problem with this phone - High price

After years of using both iPhone and android ( One plus 7 pro) switched from both to Samsung and downgraded my 11 pro max to my 6S . After seeing the note 20 ultra in store the camera , S pen , and battery life . Going on month 6 battery life lasts me day and half . Only con I have is that the glass screen protectors in the market do not cover curved glass. Also the camera tends to get smudges and can cause auto focus to not work so make sure clean .

Samsung - Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G 128GB is the best that can cost better than many people want to spend on. It provides greatest experience and last longer than cheaper alternatives. It also has the processing power to play high-end games or handle demanding tasks such as professional video editing or modeling. If you need the best phone or more powerful one, check out this and thank me later.

I have had this phone for about 8 months as of writing this and I love it just as much as the first day I bought it. It has been getting all of the essential updates running without any hiccups. The cameras on this are hands down the best you can get on a Samsung device, even compared to brand new devices! I went to Florida on vacation a few months ago and the picture quality was outstanding. The wide-angle lens lets me capture so much more. Which was especially helpful when taking pictures in from of large objects I couldn't get into frame at a regular standing distance. We ended up using this phone to take pictures for the trip because of it. We were able to get the whole family in the shot without sacrificing the beautiful backdrops. The S Pen is also a dream to have at work. Often, my boss will randomly give me a list of things to do. It's nice to be able to pull out the S Pen and take quick notes and add drawings. I also use it to draw out rooms and write in measurements for quick reference. Everything about it is just so useful.

I love my phone. The screen is huge and makes it easier to read things on the screen. The stylus is great and I use it frequently especially if something is hard to click on. I like that this has a memory slot as I take lots of pictures. Only thing I miss is the headphone jack. The camera is excellent and good quality. I love being able to zoom in on things far away.

I'm an Android user and prefer Samsung. Good camera's. Like the additional memory card slot. The pen is a nice touch, can't say I use it alot but have used it. If you want a nice phone, you're not going to get away from the price. Seems a little high but comparable with all the best phones. You get what you pay for and this was a good buy.

I bought this phone since at this moment it's up in the air whether this will be the last Note in the series. It's a great phone, and I don't want to review the phone because there's plenty of that online. I do want to mention that buying an unlocked phone from Best Buy has been a very smart move. You can get the BB credit card and make payments on it just like with the service providers, but the advantage here is that you can get the unlocked version, then you're not tied down to a carrier. If you get tired of your carrier's service or plans, you simply end your relationship and take your phone to a new one, and keep making payments on your phone. I can't believe I didn't think of this before. The only advantage with going with a carrier is if they have buy one get one deals or something similar. In regards to the phone, my favorite features are the excellent camera and the excellent battery life, I am coming from a Note 8.

I was looking for a phone that I could imagine would remain useful for the next couple of years and not become outdated in a few months and the Note 20 Ultra seems to be such a device. This phone is not perfect, but it is excellent. The only complaints I have are the battery life, which is okay, but not great, and the fact that on my first day of use, the phone got quite hot. I have to admit that I was doing a lot of downloading of apps and updates, and the phone hasn't gotten that warm since. I traded in my Note 10+, and I can say that the Note 20 Ultra is an improvement in nearly every way. I like that the center hole-punch has been reduced in size, and the 120hz display is a pure delight, even though it undoubtedly affects the phone's battery life adversely to some degree. I expected a little longer battery life, but I think Samsung will address this with future updates. I believe Samsung's update system has improved greatly in recent years. I don't regret the purchase of this phone, and I don't miss my Note 10+ at all. The 5G modem, the fact that the excellent camera system of the Note 20 Ultra can shoot in 8K mode, and the up to 1 TB of expandable storage are just some of the future proofing aspects of the phone. This phone is a keeper, and I fully expect to get several years of happy use.

Upgraded from S8, and I like everything about it so far. The physical fingerprint scanner on S8 is better than the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner on this one, but it's not enough to take off a star. Phone stays cool even while playing demanding 3D games. Since it's my first Note phone, I'm not familiar with the S Pen but it is pretty handy at times. I've seen complaints about the battery life but it's really good for me; I've used it over 6 hours playing games and browsing with Chrome, and it had over 50% battery left. It did get a bit warm because of how long the screen was on but it was really lukewarm. The 50x zoom was not as good as I expected but it's possible that I'm not giving enough exposure time. Overall a great phone but should wait for some discount before buying.

Last good flagship with an SD Card slot. Cell phone providers are typical of following garbage trends dictated by foolish reviewers who value form over function. And this phone was the last holdout for people who use large amounts of storage on their devices. Sadly you are stuck with the pittance of storage (or pay upcharges) included in phones from now on. I bought a fold 3, broke the fold 3 in a few months, and then bought this with the insurance payout. That was a disappointment too. I should buy another one of these as a backup, because things are only going to get worse.

This phone is amazing. From top to bottom it is solid as far as fit and finish, and the specs speak for themselves. The camera is incredible. The only issue for me was the battery life. It struggles to do 4 hours SOT and you're nearly dead by evening. It charges blazingly quick though. The sole reason I returned it was it is just simply too large for me to have on me at work. Uniform has small pockets and having it on my belt would guarantee it'd get broken. Shame, because this phone is just about perfect for me aside from that. Wound up going for a Pixel 5 but I'd hands down switch back to this if I wasn't guaranteed to break this one at work.
