A lot better battery life and responsiveness. Transition was seamless, although a few passwords needed re-entry. I'm not married to my cell phone an don't need a lot, but this phone fits the bill. The fingerprint unlock works better than the S7. I was concerned it wouldn't be as good on screen, and was pleasantly surprised at how well it recognizes my print.

Camera is much better, but doesn't alert when you have a text message (just once). Older versions would blink until you ack.
