This phone is pretty good. The only issue I have is with the fingerprint unlock. It doesn't have the home button to press when you just want to check your notifications. It doesn't always sense your finger.

Was frustrated with this phone at first, but after changing to google keyboard, it performs so much better and faster. Fingerprint recognition is not amazing.

Fast phone. Great display. The fingerprint sensor fails to read far more often than it does read so that's a pain but I read there is an update coming for that.

It a little smaller than I thought. Don't like the front fingerprint scanner. Counter-intuitive. Scanner on the back is more practical.

Love this phone. Lasts all day. Has a great camera. The finger print is a bit hard to get used to.

The phone is great so far. It's been a couple weeks and the only thing that's a little buggy in my opinion is the fingerprint sensor. It fails randomly but I believe it's due in part to the factory screen protector but I prefer the protection however minimal it's. If you're thinking of upgrading, do it.

This replaced my S7 which only lasted 18 months due to the battery. It is an improvement with larger screen and memory. I really do not see where the camera has improved much if at all. The fingerprint reader requires me to put lots of pressure on screen in order to work. Having to pay 700 dollars to replace the S7 because of a 40 dollar battery is probably the end of me buying expensive phones.

I'm primarily an iPhone user and I decided to get this as a second phone for business. I love the "ok google" feature and the screen on this phone. It's pretty fast when running multiple apps. The downsides to this phone is the fingerprint scanner, which is slow. It takes about 10 seconds just to unlock the phone and also the touch sensitivity is not a fluid as compared to the iPhone.

The phone works well. Surface feels so nice and smooth, phone reacts quickly. Fingerprint security-you have to push down very hard on it. Battery lasts longer than S 8. Camera quality good.

Only had the phone for a few days, but I have no complaints. The phone is fast. Pictures are amazing. I'm still getting used to the screen fingerprint sensor. To me it is more convenient than the fingerprint sensor in the back of the phone. The speaker is loud, the screen is great, and has a slimmer profile compared to phones with the same screen size. And is has the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The phone is everything it's cracked up to be. The screen and camera are amazing, battery life is great. The capacitive thumb scanner didn't work at all at first. After Samsung rolled out an update, it worked poorly, but better than not at all. I've ended up abandoning it in favor of facial recognition. The rest of the phone is so good, I'm willing to overlook it. I'm coming from a 2016 Pixel, so I don't update very often and plan on having this phone for a while.

Switching from a pixel 2 xl this phone is fast and has some features that are nice like. The camera takes amazing photos and videos. The screen is beautiful and very responsive! The downside is the fingerprint reader, the pixels reader is in the back and is very quick but Samsungs is under the screen and it's hard to sometime place your finger in the right spot and then it takes an extra second or 5 to respond. I love the 128 GB standard storage with the ability to add extra memory through the micro SD slot. Overall, there are pluses and minuses of all devices. While I like that Google updates there phones with the newest software immediately they are lacking in other aspects. While Samsung puts a top grade product out but they seem to lack in the updating software department.

I miss the Home Key. I am constantly trying to figure out which way is up. Was never a problem with my S7 as I could see the home key. Didn't think would be an issue but more of a concern than I thought. And since the fingerprint scanner is very unfriendly it'd be easier to just have a home key that was easy to access. Also the power key is to high on the side. Being a larger phone and I don't have small hands either, it seems like I am reaching for the power key, which is used to quickly pull up your camera. And the curved screen isn't all that great a feature as even with a cover from time to time if I am on a website and while holding on the phone just by touching the edges it will change to the Google homepage or something else. And the camera isn't as impressive as I thought but haven't used alot either but have quite a few blurry pics. So on the positive I love the battery life. I am on the phone alot and the battery last forever. The bigger screen is nice but I was content with the S7 size. Though my daughters use iPhones, they don't like the size of the new phones so sticking with their 7s phones for now. So maybe larger screen sizes aren't as good a thing as the manufacturers think they are, And also Samsung and other companies fix things when they aren't broken. On the S7 for group text there was a button you could click on while texting to make it a group or take it off group. Now it is a process that is a pain. I just think for all of the hype prior to this phone coming out, I was expecting better. My last 2 phones prior were Samsungs, S5 and S7 but I might have to look elsewhere next time.

I was glad to trade in my 3 year old Apple 5 for this Samsung Galaxy S-10! This is a much bigger phone with awesome graphics more speed and memory. But with anything new, there's glitches. 1. It has a hard recognizing my thumbprint. this frustrated me enough to go back to putting in my passcode every time I go to do something. 2. The size of this phone is great, especially with a guy like me with large hands. However the keys are really sensitive to a slightly stray thumb movement. And I have the key sensitivity turned all the way down. 3. Although there were basic instructions provided with the phone, I had to learn a lot with simple trial and error. I'm thankful I have a co-worker that's a "Samsung & Android Guru" who taught me a lot of stuff about my new phone's features. 4. Very poor selection of ringtones on this phone - pitiful for the amount of jack I shelled out for this thing. My 3 year old Apple had twice as many ringtones than this one has. And don't tell me I can purchase more ringtones - ain't gonna do that. 5. I must say, the pictures this phone takes are FAR superior to the ones my Apple took. WAY more detailed and colorful - and that's just on the basic settings. The biggest gripe I have in this department is that even though it takes nice videos, the phone wouldn't let me send in a text a simple 53 second video - a notice came up that it was too long, and the phone had to "crop" it. When it did, the quality of that video went to garbage. 6. Had a lot of trouble with a group text between relatives who had iPhones. I wasn't seeing half of the texts they were sending. It took all of us deleting the group conversation and starting over from scratch, and including my new phone in the re-started conversation for it to get straightened out. All is okay now. 7. This phone sucks down the juice big time! Be prepared to charge it up every night. But other than the above idiosyncrasies, this is a really good phone that becoming more of a pleasure to use the more I get used to how everything works! So go get one - you'll like it a lot too!
