    I rarely write reviews, but since this one came to my email as a request, here I go. This S10+ has been a disappointment compared to the Note 8 I traded in for an unbelievable deal. What happened to all the customization features that were in the Note 8? I feel like this is an expensive generic cell. If you love selfies and taking pics or gaming, you will love the cinema. I like the speed and the size. I even watched several YouTube videos to see if I was missing some custom features, but I'm not. My notification light for emails, texts and IM messages is not showing. I have made adjustment and confirmed that specific notifications are on, run test texts, etc., and it still is yet to be seen. After 3 weeks, the custom factory screen protector that comes with the phone, just peeled up in the upper left corner from nothing I did. I called and Samsung is sending a replacement. Finding a Tech 21 case is not happening, so I am on my second case, which is soft silicon, feels good, but keeps slipping out of my hand as I write. If it just had some traction, I would love this sleek, soft case. The first case side buttons were so hard, my finger tips hurt. Now I see why they had such a great deal. These will be short lived. I would not recommend this to anyone who likes a lot of custom features, and finds joy in deeply exploring your cell to find new fun customizing features.

    I have an old S8+ that I loved but it was getting old and features like Smart Lock didn't function well anymore. I was excited about the S10+. The best thing about it is the camera! That gets 5 stars. I love the full screen wide angle. The zoom is great also. Sadly, I have only had the phone 2 months and it is behaving like my 2 year old phone. I record 4 fingerprints. An hour later it only recognizes one. Try again. The next day, same thing. The location based Smart Lock stopped working after only a month. The phone has locked up several times. Once, when trying to take a photo, I almost couldn't get it to restart. The screen protector that comes on the phone is getting large air pockets under it. I press them out but get another later. It is really a disappointment to have a new phone that behaves like I've had it for years already. Maybe I just got a bad one. I have other phones that I dropped daily but they kept working fine. I haven't dropped this one. Maybe I need to.

    phone works great but had a issue with factory screen protector after having phone for 2 weeks.,screen protector started to get air bubbles at bottom of protector,was told by best buy that it was not a phone defect and that because is was with in the 14 day exchange period that i would have to pay 35.00 dollar exchange fee.so i called samsung customer service and was told that they would mail me a new screen protector, no charge , but they would not pay the fee to best buy to install the new screen protector. they would only pay a certified authorized samsung dealer ,which there where no local ones in my area.or i could send phone out to samsung for repair and not see it back for about 9days.i asked customer service person if they would refund me the 35.00 dollar restocking fee and even after he asked his supervisor they said no.

    I really needed an upgrade and was trying to make a decision between the Note 9 and s10+, and ended up going with the s10+. So far, there are things I like and some things I don’t. All around it appears to be a pretty good phone, I feel like it’s a little sensitive as far as the buttons. Sometimes just holding the phone while I talk on it will for some reason end a call, I think it’s one of the buttons on the side but I’m not sure which one yet. And, I really hate that Samsung didn’t include the notification LED light as an option on this phone...that was such an amazing feature. Didn’t know that until afterwards, because it may have impacted my decision.

    i had the S8+ and upgrade and I liked the 8 better. They moved the fingerprint sensor to the front of the screen which affects the sensor when you're just doing regular tasks. It seems like they moved it just so they can say the phone s new and charge 1K for it. The camera is nice. The battery seems to die a lot faster on this ph. I have to charge everyday, with the 8 I could go days without charging and I had that ph for over 2 yrs. I would get the Note instead.

    Honestly this phone is lacking in a few areas. The phone sensors aren't 100%. Phone comes on in my pocket often even with the smart lock on. The screen sensitivity is too fine even when turned down. There's no actual auto rotate option to toggle with in the button menu. Pairing with bluetooth is hit or miss. There's other issues I won't get into but if you bought this phone or planning to buy it, I'd say it's a disappointmen overall...

    I have owned a Samsung phone since I gave up my Blackberry 15 years ago. I am not at all pleased with the wake up or screen on this S10+ phone. My S8+ was a better phone. If I have it set at Portrait why doesn't it wake up that way? Somebody help me with this one. The Samsung man at Bestbuy told me they are working on a fix? When?

    The camera and video features work great. Several draw backs i have about this phone is first the finger print scanner was moved back to the front like the S7 edge. Second several factory installed notification sounds were deleted and replaced with annoying sounds. It is a lot harder to log in with the finger print scanner than before.

    Still no comparison to the pixel 3 camera. Other then that is miss the led notification light and the new fingerprint sensor is so slow. The screen is nice and also the sound but if you own a note 9 keep it the s10 will be a downgrade.
