    Fantastic Screen Quality

I have been sticking with Samsung phones for 3 generations now after my first phone which was an iphone. So I have become pretty familiar with how Samsung phones have evolved over time. Between Galaxy S4, S8 and now S10, I think S8 was one of the best phones that Samsung offered mainly because of the mess they got into with Galaxy Notes and having to come back in the game with a pretty unique phone, i.e., S8. But overall, with every generation of phones, there are special unique features that one can glorify compare to previous generations. There are two things about S10 that I really like: The screen is fantastic and provides a very clear and rigid quality. I think it's safe to say that samsung is the best brand in making smartphone screens; They are so good at it that even iphone uses Samsung screens. The second feature that to me is considered real progress is S10's camera, or I should say, cameras and therefore, their image qualities. Compare to iphones of the same year, Samsung camera and images have always been lagging and the difference has been visible for night shots. But in S10, Samsung has been able to resolve this issue and make their iamge qualities much better, even though it still needs work. One thing that I don't like about S10 is that Samsung has removed the notification LED that all previous generations had. To those who are familiar with Android phones, this small LED on top of the screen was a good tool for letting the owner know that he has notifications by blinking in different colors. Samsung has decided to remove this LED and their reason is that they couldn't have left the LED if they wanted to build the infinity screen. At first this makes sense. But once you get the phone and receive a call, right when the phone is ringing, you will see a small blinking light right next to your front camera, which is a detector that identifies the distance between your face and the phone so it would turn off the screen when you put the phone next to your ear. If this LED is not interfering with the infinity screen, so shouldn't the LED right? I guess they have other reasons and did not want to share. S10's battery has been working well so far and I need to charge the phone once a day. The dimensions of the phone compare to S8 is a bit wider, which makes it harder to work with one hand. Still love the fact that Samsung still allows the user to insert an SD card and have more memory space, a feature that Apple has never offered in order to make people buy its more expensive phones. There are little features in Samsung's operating system here and there that are interesting too. One major one is its Night mode feature that you can enable so that at the end of the evening when your eyes are tired, all the menues of the phone turn to black mode and emit minimal light from the screen. I only wish companies like facebook would do this too. Of course, one can always deactivate their account with facebook and become free once and for all haha;) One last thing: One can now personalize the bixby button to do other things and not activate bixby. Overall, this is a fun phone to work with. I don't like the price trend that companies like Apple and Samsung are introducing with the new phones. But at least with Samsung, the new phones usually come with several offers that justify this price increase in some ways. e.g., giving a discount if you trade in your old phone, free ear buds, free services like spotify or SiriusXM for a certain period of time, etc.

I'm going to start my review off by saying that this is hands down the best smart phone I have ever owned. The screen is absolutely gorgeous , colors are very vibrant and contrast is amazing. Even under Texas bright sunny days, this screen gets bright enough for you to see it without having to shade it with your hand. I set my display to QHD and Vivid and I am averaging about 5-6 hours of screen time per charge. Excellent. If you are like me and love vibrant punchy colors but get annoyed when skin tones get turned yellow in movies and videos then I suggest you leave the "video enhancer" mode turned off. To my eyes, that is the best way to set your phone display. Audio from the speakers is loud enough to annoy people in the same room. Thank you Samsung for keeping the headphone jack even though just about everyone else has gotten rid of it. Long live the headphone jack!! I missed having one so much. I smiled when I was able to keep talking on the phone with my headset when plugging in the phone to charge with USB - C cable. Samsung includes a fast charging usb c brick and cable. AKG headphones to use for listening and talking. The S10 has a dual sim card slot, with the ability to install a micro sd card instead. The ultra sonic fingerprint reader works like a charm. I installed one of those self healing spray on screen protectors and I have no issues with the fingerprint reader. It is quick and accurate. I suggest you turn your thumb sideways like you would when holding the phone in one hand when setting up your fingerprint so that it can detect it better. The camera is pretty awesome as well, my only gripe with it is the way samsung continues to choose to process skin tones. Skin tones still turn to mush and make people look like wax dolls sometimes. Other than that, it really takes some awesome photos and videos. The ultra wide camera is a blast to use, so is the super slow motion camera. Samsung's One UI is the best software skin that Samsung has also ever stuck on over Android. You still have a bunch of amazing features added on without causing it to lag. I honestly prefer it over stock android now. The swipe gestures are very easy to learn and become accustomed to. Samsung also added the ability to install the same app TWICE!!!! So you can use different accounts on the app. So cool. There is so much to do with this phone on the software end, I recommend you watch all the youtube videos you can to learn all the ins and outs and tips and tricks. If you've been holding out to upgrade, I highly recommend this phone. Amazing hardware, great software. Samsung - You the best! Pros - Amazing hardware - The best smart phone display - Fun camera -Headphone jack - fast charging usb c -One UI is a game changer -Micro Sd slot Cons - waxy skin tones on camera

First phone that's unlocked and overall its great Pros: more memory space since no carriers add extra stuff No logos in the back Switch between carriers Camara is great! Screen is beautiful Size is not too large Samsung has a done good bixby button can be custom which is great. Cons: THE BATTERY!!! SAMSUNG COME ON!! Im exaggerating obviously but honestly the battery is great it lasts but not good enough... I didnt want the s10+ because of its price, size and I dont need an extra camara but its battery was a debate, I dont know why samsung is deciding to lower the battery BY 700 MAH Im sure they could have gave us 3700 or even 3600 but 3400 is just not enough and should not be acceptable with this price and comparision with the S10+ and S10e which is 3100... That's it

So after many years of being an apple fan boy I finally made the switch to Android. I saw several commercials and advertisements for this S10. I was stuck between this and the 10+. I had the iPhone XS Max and honestly wanted a smaller phone so I pulled the trigger on this S10 and it is incredible! The battery life is incredible. The camera is amazing. The in-screen finger print sensor is flawless so far. I have zero complaints about this device and that has never happened when I have purchased a new phone on launch day. 10/10 would recommend this phone all day every day!

It is an amazing phone, I love the size, not too big but with a huge memory 128GB. Batter lasts at least 2 days with normal use, more if you do use your phone much (I dont know of any phone out there that you dont have to charge every day). I had it for 2 years and it still amazing!!!! Cam is amazing, it even have a pro camera that you put all setting in a manual way, I dont use it since its like a real pro cam with aperture and speed. Phone is very light which is a plus that it doesn't feel like a brick once you put the case on. (phone is very thin, love it). My only wish is that I should have bought the bigger screen since I wear glasses so, sometimes letters/screen look small with no eyeglasses on. YES to ANDROID. I notice that most of Information technology IT people use android and I see the reason why, you get more for you money.

This phone is super fast and has a really great screen. The gestures and touch points on the screen are super fluid and fast. The camera is incredible with many functions and modes. Finally breaking the 100 gigabyte storage space offering as a standard was a selling big point, along with offering 8gigs of RAM as the minimum is a strong selling point. One can also add more storage space with up to a 512gig MicroSD card. For me though, 128gig is fine as I would never use that much, but the previous 64gig offering would be used up. I do give it a small bit of a knockdown, but dtill not less than than 5 stars as there are really good smartphones out there with similar speed, screen quality and almost as good of a camera for much less. Could I have bought that particular phone, yes, but if something under warranty needed attention, I'd have to send it back, whereas Samsung will have Best Buy or a really good repair shop locally fix it the device with Samsung's authorization. I highly recommend this phone! Screen - A++ Speed - A++ Camera - A++ Ease of use and functionality - A+ Price - A-

I like the phone, it does everything I think it should and more. It is easy to use, it's fast and has a great camera. My only complaint is that since the screen wraps around the side edges a little bit, it is easy to accidentally touch things that result in surprises when taking pictures, texting or navigating. I will probably try a case to see if that cures the problem. But, that is even more money. I already spent about $500+ to buy the phone.

I got this phone on sale for like $550, and I absolutely loved it. I was upgrading from a OnePlus 3t and was hoping to get another OnePlus device, but given the situation with Coronavirus it would have taken forever to get and I needed a replacement ASAP. I jumped the Samsung bandwagon for OnePlus because of the sheer amount of bloatware I had on my Note 3. I am happy to say that this phone did not have nearly as much garbage preinstalled as the Note 3 did. I am still however disappointed that I am doomed to once again forever have Facebook installed on my device or, root it to remove it... The in-screen fingerprint reader is not as fast as my OP3t's ceramic one was, but given that it is built into the screen and is still pretty quick, that can be easily overlooked. The display is sharp, and the camera notch is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. All in all, I really like the phone and would highly recommend it especially if it is on sale.

This phone has actually been a life changer for me. I was a long time iPhone user but have made the switch and I don't think I'll ever be coming back. The amount of features on this device is incredible. It has better battery life than the iPhone XS max did, and this isn't even the plus version. You can easily go an entire day and maybe partially into the next day without charging your phone if you're conservative. Wireless power share is the coolest thing, especially when paired with a galaxy watch. The camera is incredible and the speed and performance of this device is unmatched. It's expensive but you get what you pay for here. I see myself using this phone for many years.

Upgraded from S7 edge to S10. It is very fast. Huge amount of internal memory that will help the phone to be faster for long period of time. Camera is amazing. Super battery life, easily run upto 1 day on moderate usages. Did not like the finger print scanner. It is slow and also needs multiple attempts to unlock the phone. It is way slower than my S7 edge

As a previous S8 owner this definitely this feels like a jump forward and worthy upgrade. Although to be realistic phones are marginally improving year by year. And in most cases if phone batteries were replaceable on Samsung phones as they used to be awhile back l I probably would have kept the S8. S8 is still a great phone for people who just do not have the money for an S10. Fingerprint sensor on screen is awesome. Already used to it and couldn't imagine the option not being there. Samsung face I.D. does not compare to apple from what I heard, but fingerprint sensor is so fast I cannot see needing the face I.D. How much you are impressed by this phone will depend on where you are coming from. Every iphone user at my work was jealous, but hard to pull away loyal followers. If you had an S8 like me, it feels different. But nothing jaw dropping. My wife has the S8 and is not upgrading. Will admit she is not into tech as much as me. Screen covers more than ever before. Dot versus having large notch. Screen is gorgeous as always. Battery life is meh, but fast charging makes up for it partially. Apple still has much slower charging than Samsung. Make sure to use USB 3.0 if you decide to buy cables. Using phone to wireless charge, might on a rare occasion come in handy. For the traveler maybe more so. CAMERA: For your average consumer, I cannot complain one bit. Comes with good plug in AKG headphones and fast charger for anyone who has never bought a Samsung phone since they purchased AKG All in All if your interested in this phone. I cannot see any flaws that would keep you from switching over or upgrading. Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I do.

The phone is a typical galaxy, fast, good cameras, beautiful screen. However I find myself frustrated by the little stuff just like every year. The fingerprint reader is buggy and a pain. The lock button is not in a great location (I take screenshots on accident all the time), and bixby is frustrating however you can remap the button. the knockout for the front camera is also just annoying since apps aren't really optimized for the screen size and it just kinda sits there being all weird. I ended up just shortening the screen to remove that top portion anyway. That being said, it is a super fast phone, with dark mode on I am getting 6+ hours of audio a day (Bluetooth headphones), a few texts, light gaming and some web browsing and coming home with around 45% batter left. Also the telephoto is not as great as I hoped but is a nice little feature and it has given me some great closeup shots I wasn't expecting. Overall solid product, just wish they would break away from this 100% screen push at awkward screen sizes and nail down ergonomics.

Still my daily driver, and still going strong. I have dropped this phone so many times (granted it also has a mous case and a screen protector) but has not yet broken since. It's still very sleek despite being 3 years old. Would recommend this phone when it's on sale at a lower price because you are still getting a great deal while still having many new features that are also included in the newer phones.

I thought it was time to write a review. I had the Samsung S9+ for 6 months prior to getting the S10. The S9+ was a great phone with wonderful features and a large memory card capacity that enticed me to leave my iPhone behind. The S10 has an incredibly bright and vibrant screen that is second to none. I love the 128 gb standard storage. I added a 400 gb memory card too. It still blows my mind that I have so much storage on my phone, which rivals any desktop or laptop storage. The phone is super quick and fluid. There are no glitches and delays in opening apps. The 8 gb memory really helps. I am able to get a workday on one charge though if you play music or podcasts, and or stream movies, you will get far less as expected. There is nothing negative or a drawback to this phone. There was not a lot of app bloat with the phone. And again, one feature I proze above all and for which I left the iPhone ecosystem is the memory card. I do not want to have everything limited to being saved to cloud storage as with an iPhone. And the price for the larger storage capacity with this phone versus an iPhone is another comparative plus. It is probably the first phone I have ever owned which I am fully satisfied with. It was and still is cutting edge technology and a superb flagship smartphone above and beyond all rivals. I would gladly buy this phone again!

I would recommend this to a friend
