I kept each phone for 3-4 years on average. I know how to take care of a phone. I decided to switch to the Galaxy S10 because I liked the way it looked and hated that Apple got rid of the headphone jack. After an initial learning curve, I had gotten the hang of the phone. Then out of nowhere, the phone stopped downloading apps from Google Play. I deleted the app cache, the app data, restarted the phone, deleted the app data for Google Play services, booted the phone in safe mode to make sure it wasn't an app causing the problem, everything you can find online to do, I did. I called Samsung and spent about an hour in a chat with someone making me go through all of the same steps. The phone finally downloaded an app, so I thought that was the end of it. If only As it turns out, the only way my phone would download apps is if I delete all of the Google Play app data, Google Play services app data, and restart the phone. Annoying, but whatever. After that, the phone stopped downloading apps again and also stopped opening some apps. I know it was my phone and not the internet because my iPad had no problem downloading or opening the exact same apps. These aren't graphic intensive games. I'm talking apps like the Capital One app. Maybe I just got a lemon, but I will be going back to Samsung and MAKING them take this phone in to look at because this is ridiculous. I wish I had just gotten the iPhone. For everything you give up in features, you at least get a phone that works.
