This phone has excellent battery life, takes phenomenal pictures and has awesome features. I've been extremely pleased with my purchase. I did an upgrade from the galaxy S8 to the S21 and there are a number of really noticeable changes that I can mention.
One-the battery life is so much better on this phone. Even when using it I rarely go below the 50% mark. With the S8 I was constantly worried about the battery dying when I had barely even used it. As a nurse I now, by the end of my 12 hr shift, always have at least an 80% battery life left with the S21!
Second the pictures this phone takes are hands down some of the best pictures I've taken on a cell phone. I was on a motorcycle with my boyfriend driving 60+ mph and the pictures I took came out crystal clear...those I posted with this review. All around I'm very happy with this phone.

I love this phone! I also loved my Note 20 but, alas, I was a little tough on it and had to get a new phone. The main reason I use my phone is for photos and social media. I'm in love with the night sky and the night shots on both phones are superb but you can't beat the Space Zoom on the S21. Look at the pic I took of the moon with no tripod... WOW. I only charge my phones to 80% to be kind on the battery and I've been getting about a day and a half from a charge. Not too shabby. I miss not having a space for my s-pen but at least this phone supports it on it's gorgeous 120hz screen. EXACTLY the phone for me

Love this phone. Sleek design. I went from a Samsung S9+ to this! I thought my S9+ took amazing pictures but the camera on the phone is awesome. Can’t wait to travel and take pics with this phone. Well worth the buy if you haven’t upgraded your phone in 2-3 years. Probably not much of a difference if you have the S20 Ultra. Cheaper than S20 Ultra as well!

Love my new phone. So many features to learn. The camera is awesome! The phone is sturdy and a heavier weight than my other phones. Nice size screen. The volumn on this phone is crazy compared to my old phone which was pretty low. So far, so good. Overall, I'm very pleased.

An amazing phone that i gave completely enhoyed owning. Tge camera is AWESOME and i can bearly zoom in on the moon! Clear pics. Great video as well. Sound is amazing. Not to heavy ans i can use my stylus from my tab s7. Only dtawback is the removal of the sd card, that was a big hit as i take a tin of pics and vidoes. Bur easy enough to transfer to my pc. Just a pain. Hufhly recommend this phone.

Beautiful vivid screen but it uses too much battery on the vivid setting, so what good is that? The front camera is within the screen, so if you're using Duo for a phone conversation, whoever you're talking to probably has a bullseye on his forehead where the dark camera circle appears. The phone is heavy. And bulky. And the on-off buttons are very very hard to use. My data transferred as if by a miracle. But especially in contacts, the format has changed making it hard to find some phone numbers and addresses. Strangely, the Samsung text settings don't work right. For instance, when I tried to set an individual notification for Mary, somebody else's contact info appears, so there's no way to set Mary's notification sound. On the plus side, the speaker is excellent. It's super fast. The screen is pleasantly large. Photo editing is sophisticated and will take a bit of research but it appears to offer a myriad of options. I bought the phone at Best Buy (in a nightmare scenario, but that's not the phone's fault) and when I asked for help with it at Best Buy, they sent me to the Verizon store. Verizon refused to help me because they said that Best Buy has been sending Best Buy customers to Verizon when Best Buy should be helping its own customers. So apparently I'm penalized for purchasing from Best Buy and am without a resource to resolve the phone's peculiar quirks.

I upgraded from a Galaxy S10+ that has expandable memory, a phone jack and phone charger. You won't get that on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. I could take a screen shot on the Galaxy S10+ much easier than the S21 Ultra. To shut off the phone is a one button press on the Galaxy S10+ but on the S21 Ultra it's a two button press on the right side. I found that to be more difficult than the S10+. I don't like all the buttons to be on the right side and lower than the S10+. It probably works better for someone who's left handed. I think the Samsung should have left the button placement alone. I purchased a 128 GB phone. It's enough for my basic phone use. I found going to the My Files icon then select Analyze Storage, scroll to the bottom and it allows you to free up memory space by deleting all the files you don't want instead of a 30 day auto deletion. I also deleted all the bloat apps and that gave me for memory on my phone. I do like the S21 Ultra and will have to adjust to the new button design. The battery life goes all day with average phone use. The sound output making calls, listening to music and watching videos is good. The phone works well with the 5G connectivity. Website browsing on 5G is noticeably faster. I would've given the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5 stars but the button placement, lack of memory expansion, and a phone charger could have made this phone a real winner.

What the S20 Ultra should have been

Excellent so far. Definitely faster and more responsive than the S20 Ultra. Camera is better and resolves the old focusing issues. Fingerprint area is bigger and more responsive. Battery life is good. In short, what the S20 Ultra should have been. A ridiculous number of adjustments I barely understand or care to. Spend some time researching it and be rewarded with longer battery life. Little thins like black backgrounds and not as bright settings make a difference. One complaint a chronic Samsung problem: Bloatware. Most can be deleted. Remember to back the phone up periodically.

The S21 Ultra is by far the fastest most capable device I've come from. The refresh rate makes it feel lightening quick, the battery is superb, and last but not least the cameras are movie quality. Coming from an Apple Device this satisfied all my immediate premium device needs.

I have been very impressed with my Galaxy S21 Ultra so far. The speed is amazing and the camera is impressive. The display is obsevably better than my S10. I am still getting used to the size and weight but these slight negatives are more than offset by the improved functionality in my opinion, I have yet to explore all of the phone's features but already feeling that I got a real updgrade this time.

Im in love with my phone. I have always enjoyed a bigger screen and this definitely is it. It moves fast. Quality of the camera is amazing. The battery does last a bit longer than my old galaxy s9 but not as much as I would of thought. I do use my phone constantly. Watching shows, music videos, filing out school forms, constantly checking my email.

I have had my galaxy s9+ for a while now, since it was the newest galaxy phone. So, i finally decided to upgrade to the s21. It's a good phone, but not a huge improvement over what i had, in my opinion. The battery life is awesome, that i will admit. It can last me all day & still only be a bit under 50%. Although if i watch a lot of YouTube on a particular day or something it will get closer to around 20%. Still it's a huge improvement over the battery life of my old phone that would get down to hardly any battery every day or die on me some days. The picture quality is good. Maybe it's because i'm no photographer but i don't see a huge improvement there from my old phone, maybe just a slight improvement. Other than that I feel like it's basically the same phone i had with some slightly different button commands. It is a bit irritating to have to buy the adapter port to use my old headphones & aux cord, but the adapter was only $10 so I won't complain too much about that. Just be aware you'll need it unless you want to go wireless. It's not a bad phone by any means, but I'm not wowed.

So far so good, had it for about 2 weeks and it's been a beast. Battery life is one of the best I've ever used in the phone with heavy use. Response is extremely "snappy". Only thing about the phone is not having a expandable sd slot or a 3.5mm plug in or come with the S-Pen. For the amount of money we are paying, we should have all or atleast some of the missing.

Had gone away from Samsung smart phones in favor of a Google Pixel (for the better camera, updates, pure android) but when I cracked the screen of my 3-year old phone I wanted to upgrade NOW not in several months if and when the Pixel 6 comes out.
So far I'm loving this new phone. Its fast, responsive, and you can not beat the camera system including its optical zoom. I also like the ability to use the S-pen (not included) and its integration with the Samsung Galaxy Smart Watch.
Some people may find the Ultra a little too large or heavy (especially if you have small hands or any issues with grip strength) but I really like the extra screen real estate AND the added battery life (which makes up some of the weight/size)
Samsung has improved upon some of the issues I had with their smart phones in the past (which drove me to Pixel) but I'm really happy with my choice of this phone and not waiting for Google Pixel (which in many ways seems to have been going down a low-price rabbit hole over their last few iterations)
Samsung's (and in my case Verizon) bolt-on additions and changes to Android are acceptable and make good use of the phone's hardware.
Battery life is excellent, and I'm really liking the wireless charging (you'll need to buy a charger on your own)
