A definite improvement over the Pixel 4XL

I had a Pixel 4XL - which did ok, but the battery life was horrible. I put up with it for the camera. By the time the S21 Ultra dropped, I was having to plug my phone in twice a day. I did something I normally wouldn't do- and got a phone the day it dropped. I'm prone to dropping my phones, so I got a heavy case to go along with it. Call quality is fine on Verizon. The UI is a major improvement from the old Samsung UI. The camera is phenomenal. See pictures I took from sitting in my car just using the zoom. Over all I'm incredibly happy with my purchase and recommend the S21 Ultra.

Upgraded from a galaxy S9 plus. Love this new phone and all the features. The camera is excellent and the big selling point. However, there are many features I miss. This phone no longer supports SD card slots. Also, Samsung did away with the multicolor LED notification light, as well as a headphone jack. Please note it does not ship with a charger, headphones, or adpater. I hate that Samsung is following Apple's trend and as consumers, we need to hold companies accountable for this.

Very impressive performance. Very responsive. The cameras are awesome. But a bit heavier and taller than ideal.

Huge upgrade from an already awesome phone. Went from a note 9+ to the 21 ultra. Love it!!! Camera is unbelievable. Live that you can remove objects right from the editor. Battery life is amazing. Only downside is I wish Samsung hadn’t removed the sd card....

I love this phone. Screen is amazing, camera is epic, and the battery life is great. I'm glad I sprang for the 256 because video is hefty on the memory side but amazing to look at. Great phone all around.

Upgraded to higher memory Samsung 21 Ultra - love my new phone! Compared to my old Samsung 10+ (that I still loved, but couldn't pass up the great trade-in deal): screen & pics are brighter & clearer, phone faster, more memory. Only issues I have is no longer being able to measure my Oxygen Saturation (under Samsung Health "Stress") with my phone - used this a lot (pandemic) & was pretty accurate when tested against an oximeter, and the large camera lens area which seems easy to scratch knocking around in my bag since it is a comparatively large lens area - so when it's in my bag, it goes into a microfiber pouch first. Otherwise love my new Ultra!

Love it!! A little on the large side so it doesn't for well in a pocket. But the cameras, the storage, speed and all makes up for it.

Upgraded from a S9. This phone is alot heavier and bigger. Videos look wonderful on this phone. And the camera is awesome! Doesn't come with a charger, but that wasn't a big deal for me. I already had plenty. Not crazy about the fact you can't expand the memory with a memory card, but I just bought the 256gb to be on the safe side. So far I really like this phone.

Best camera and video ever!! Love my S21 Ultra! Seriously fast and robust - filmed my kids in the pool with it. I love Samsung phones, they come out with all of the newest tech (first to bring water resistant/shock resistant phones) and this one is definitely their best. The camera and video quality is seriously unbelievable - videos in 8k

TLDR: Great phone. BB does not understand the concept of "appointment" so I ended up setting it up myself.
I researched many phones and decided on S21 Ultra 256G. I purchased it online with shipping to my local BB store. At the same time, I set an appointment for configuring it the day after (to allow some wiggle room in case shipping was late). The appointment was set for 30 minutes... plenty of time, or so I thought.
Apparently, the term "appointment" for BB has a completely different meaning than the rest of the world... NOBODY was available to do the job. Halfway through, an unbusy guy from the TV section came over and offered to at least go find the order. He found it, but could not do the setup. Having a hard stop, I proceeded to do so myself. I was able to get it to a point, but ran into trouble with the sim card. Finally someone freed up about 2 mins before I had to run. It turns out there were two sim cards and the one pre-installed in the phone was the wrong one.
So, at least I had a phone that could make/receive calls when I walked out the door, but I had to finish moving everything later that night. If I had know BB would not do the job they promised, I would have allocated time to do so.

OK, I thought my old NOTE phones were large. This thing is huge. But Samsung seems to think that the only way they can give consumers the cameras and such that they would seek is through a device that quite frankly is almost too large to be called a phone any more.
I wish Samsung would make the features and such available in a smaller form factor. Otherwise, this phone is absolutely fantastic.

Good battery life, more than 24hrs. High res screen with very fast processor. Camera lenses offer lots of options. Pano shots are very easy to do. The zoom maintains pretty good resolution for a phone. It's thin and hard to hold without it slipping in your had so adding a cover is a must.

I am disappointed that I gave up the screen size on my Note 10+ for the size of the S21Ultra. It is not a big difference, but it is still narrower. The speaker is nice. Very good volume. I have not had a chance to try out the camera but I understand it cannot be beat. I like the buttons are on the right side of the phone. That is more comfortable for me.

Not sure I have had it long enough to give a complete review but here goes. This is a heavy (2 ounces heavier than my S10+), sturdy, quality phone. The screen is amazing and the camera performance is unreal. That said, the camera "bump" is significant and does attract fingers to the lenses.
Android 11 is a shiny version of Android 10 but there are some nice additions to One UI 3.1
This is a nice tool/computer to keep in your pocket for when you need to make a phone or video call.
Overall I am impressed but all things being equal, I would probably not have chosen to trade in my S10+ if it weren't for the insane perks, I would still take that phone back.

Samsung has been my only choice of cell phone in the past 10 years. This time I am not sure whether I should continue owning one in future.
I love the camera on the new phone, great solution and picture quality. 5G and big screen make differences, too.
However, some unique features went away: It doesn't allow to insert microSD card to expand the storage. It requires wireless headset as well. And Samsung doesn't provide the wall charger this time, but one cable only.
I also quickly realized how heavy and thick it is. I didn't get chance to check the phone in the store before I made the purchase due to the pandemic.

Excellent device, the screen is beautiful. Battery doesn't last as long as it claims but the cpu is a beast and the camera is wonderful.
