The S.O. had upgraded her Flip 5G to the Flip 4, and since Bestbuy was offering a spectacular trade-in value on her old phone, I figured why not spend just $100 or so to get a significantly newer phone to play around with or serve as a backup. Couldn't have been happier with it as it's fast, silky smooth, and simply beautiful with its flat screen, glass back, and aluminum frame.

Just bought this to replace my wife old Galaxy S9 plus. Which still works fine. The phone have decent specs, and feel premium. I was afraid of dropping it, so i ordered a protective case on Amazon since you don't want to have the screen cracked after paying so much money. The phone is fast, thanks to the new chip. But what's really impressive is the camera. Even that you don't get the S22 ultra quality, is still great compare with her old phone. She is happy with the phone, thats all i care.

Good AND especially at price I paid, iseems BestBuy isn't a "hype" but often, in.fact, best fr Smartphones, I won't comment on other electronics/or appliances/etc but for Smartphones for years I noticed how it beats competition INCLUDING offers fm my/own carrier (Verizon) & mom's (AT&T) if you combine BestBuy promos (they're cyclical, if you wait enough you catch a deal like this S22+ I got for -$200 drop, then it went up) + BestBuy's rewards Certificates whch I accumulated much ($230+). I got S22+ & NOT S22.Ultra which (Ultra) planned to get originally, b/c after extensive thinking having a heavy/bulky Ultra phone defies purpose as it duplicates my ultra.portable laptop/tablet, Iam an engineer & a whopping 4 computers are at my disposal at home & mobile, so a phone-tablet would be a neither good phone (heavy/large) nor good tablet (small) ALSO, Radiation/SAR spec fr Ultra is significantly higher than S22+'s dueto to obvious antenna design/phys.body. ALSO, beware I like (Korean) Samsung's attention to Human/User's HEALTH - Radiation/SAR specs for their devices consistently ranked low (i.e best) vs Chinese makes & vs (WORST !) Apple's iPhone, as engineers we're well-aware that Apple in chasing for "niceties" & data device, doesn't realize they hurt the primary function we get phones for - radio communication (voice/data) i.e their RF side of iPhone is bad.... vs Samsung & worse yet vs Motorola. Motorola usedto be best RF radios in their phones, my old Moto would make a voice call on FireIsland NY years ago when towers were far in mainland & scarce, whereas folks around me failed all calls from their American iPhonese & Chinese makes, I come from Motorola "fanbiy" background, & MotoDroid Maxx had GIGANTICALLY long.lasting battery (in.fact one of the reasons I strived to get it so intensely I even quit previous carrier (AT&T) to switch to Verizon which had it as an exclusive many years ago, but then Moto sold to Lenovo & that was end for me, th my ancient MotoDroid Maxx circa 2013 still works perfect voice-wise/texts (software e.g Web became somewhat crippled), and so I switched to Samsung - excellent specs, e.g display, processor, etc & similar (to Motorola) long battery in S22+ (but beware, S22.Ultra's battery lasts alittle less), good RF/radio/antenna section -> reliable voice/data, Radiation is LESS (i.e. better) thn my old/previous Motorola's & hugely less than iPhone & all Chinese makes, Etc,etc I recommend it (S22+ or Ultra), & thus I never did/& probably won't do American iPhone & never Chinese. Only thing I wish S22+ had body shape more "squarish" like S22.Ultra & older S21/20 Ultra.Note's (what was "Note" is now called Sxx "Ultra" w/pen) In general, Samsung Galaxies in mid.range ("+") & top ("Ultra") versions are Technically well-executed, as phone (voice), data, & computing (micro.tablet) + Human Health e.g Radiation/SAR specs ar good vs competition; except one thing in recent years tho annoys me is while all I care for is a Phone voice + data, which's what these devices were created for (remember shoes for walking, car for driving... phones for phoning) but over the years Camera beacme obsession for certain "kids" - I doNOT care for extremely good camaras in ANY phone, b/c once you go over 20Mpx resolution & decent optical zoom (digital zoom is FAKE) it becomes of dubious benefit - 99.99% of us are buying these devices as Communicator, NOT as "professional photographers", it'll NEVER match pro PhotoCameras ANYWAY regardless of "impressive" pixel counts or a barrage of lenses, dueto sheer physical impossibility to fit pro extensible Lenses in a thin device like smartphone, for that (professional) you'd need a Sony/Nikon/Canon/Panasonic/Kodak DEDICATED camera, NOT a Smartphone, OBVIOUSLY (!!) but inexplicably phones manufacturer's are increasingly wasting efforts & burdening them w/this huge baggage, 2, 3, 4, 5.... lenses & mostly unusable resolutions that makesense only if you enlarge a photo to giant or say 2-storey building height all this on COMMUNICATOR devices ?, like we're dying to make world-class photos & yet lose phone calls & get irradiated by excess RF into our brains (ref to iPhone Max), so other than manufacturer's increasing obsession/annoyance of camera cornucopia, these ar fantatsic devices & S22+/(or Ultra, I planned originally) is a decent transition for me from Motorola to Samsung P.S a) The price at BestBuy & after a -$200 promo & Rewards Certificates was such that several people asked "how did you "tricked" so cheaply ? BestBuy is best for these devices, I won't comment abt other stuff... b) Before buying online/BestBuy, went to several phys.stores (incl BB) & played w/S22.Ultra (S21.Ultra, S20.Note.Ultra in past years) in person/physically focusing on abiity to control display brightness/contrast to minimal for dark.rooms (e.g IT rooms at my design shop/work)/nigth usage & someone w/good eyes whch I happen to own, ability to set perfect Dark/HighContrast modes & custom Black themes, ability to filter.off harmful Blue light emitted by xLED incl OLED & LED-backlit LCD's, etc, Etc,etc - ALL these ar available & work perfectly in Samsung S21/22+ & Ultra settings, the comfort/eahlth of display I was able to set in phys.stores was stunning, I immediately went online & ordered fm BestBuy The other devices in stores weren't as good, some even cause headache if you stare into them for hours & hours whole day.... whichI admit happens here... P.P.S. No spell.check - tiny keyboard at 4AM (night) in darkness/tired/typing ultra.fast

I would give it five stars if not for the fact that there is not too much innovation here compared to thE S21. The battery does not last as long and you will need to charge it at the end of every day if you use it a lot. It is a Samsung so it does run fast and I will say that the build of the phone itself is MUCH better than the S21. The flat frosted glass back is much better than the plastic that was used on the S21 as it gives it more weight and makes it feel like a phone thats costs as much as it does. There is nothing mind blowing with this iteration of the Galaxy S series and maybe that is a turn off for some but it is still a solid addition.

    Solid, well rounded option

I am a recovering iPhone user (15 years old) who switched to Samsung about 6 months ago, because my iPhone SE battery life was abysmal, and I found the phone locked down, and freedomless. I bought this s22 plus, even though everybody has iPhones at my school, and made fun of me for wanting a Samsung. That soon changed, however, as I began saving their lives when their batteries kept dying, and they didn't have their charger by using the power share function. I even charged a pair of AirPods for my friend, and everyone in the room was wondering why you couldn't do so on Apple's own iPhone. The fact that Samsung phones have better integration with Airpods in some aspects than iPhones, should be embarrassing to Apple. There are so many different features and aspects of this phone that I love, including the camera, screen, durable construction, One UI 5, power share, superior clipboard, integration with Windows PCs, etc... The whole phone is just so well-rounded, and there really isn't anything to complain about. Everything just works how you'd expect it to. The only things I could think of are better-sounding speakers, and the ability to power share while plugged in. If you choose this phone you are essentially going to get a well-rounded option that checks all the boxes, simply does what you want it to, and will last for years to come. Samsung focused on what their customers wanted with this phone(except removing the sd card slot ): ), and every detail is there for your best interest. Although Apple has its advantages, people need to get over their iPhone loyalty and look at what other companies have to offer. If you never have an open mind, you'll never know how good an iPhone really is. I'm not saying that iPhones are complete trash, I just want to tell people about the great experience I have had with Samsung and give them the confidence to try it for themselves. Who knows, it could be the perfect fit!

I really likes this phone.. looks stylish, easy screen navigation, smooth to touch. All good, however now I started getting vertical green lines. I have 3 vertical green lines now out of no where. I have always handled the phone with utmost care. The operation of the phone is still smooth but the vertical lines are very irritating. Camera quality is top notch even after 2.5 years of use

I traded in my iPhone 13 for the Galaxy S22+. Immediately I noticed how simple this phone is to use compared to the Iphone. The screen clarity, operating system, and simplicity of this phone blows the Iphone away. I use my phone for everything,(zoom calls, scheduling appts) not just games and talking. I am beyond thrilled with this phone. One drawback that Apple 13 has over the S22+ is its battery life. Not a big deal since I'm at the office or home office where I can plug in. If your not a heavy user you should make it through the day.
