First off let me start by saying you have two kinds of people doing reviews, the first kind is the people that buy every flagship phone every year, im one of those people. The second, is the people that hold on to their phone for years before upgrading. Im not judging or anything just pointing this out because my review will be different for each. Lets start with the people that purchase a new flagship every year. Its as simple as this, coming from an S22 Ultra your getting a new faster chip in my opinion that split second isnt worth the $1500 a new 512GB S23 Ultra will cost you with tax for an unlocked version. Its also a slap in the face the $600 being offered for a trade in of an S22 Ultra. Lets move on, the new 200 mega pixel camera unless your using the pictures to put up a billboard not much news there. The best part is the stabalizer in the camera is much improved is it worth $1500 in my opinion no. Next, Samsung got rid of the 128GB version on the S23 Ultra mostly because the high resolution pictures eat up storage space so they really needed to. What they didnt need to do was only give you 8GB of ram on the 256GB version instead of the 12GB offered on the 512GB version. Even the S21 Ultra had 12GB of ram in in 128GB version so shame on you Samsung. Last but not least is the new chip, Samsung has finally corrected its glitchy software issues this chip runs real smooth, its fast and its hard to ignore how well it does. This brings me to the final point, the price. Ouch!!! I mean ive had every Fold version so price isnt a deal breaker, ive had every Note and every Ultra. The thing that hurts this year is how horrible the trade in values are $425 for an S21 Ulta or $600 for an S22 Ultra even the Fold 4 is only $800 in my opinion is if you have an S21 Ultra and the pen is a must have then make the upgrade. If the pen isnt important and your in an S21 Ultra i would say hold off. If your in an S22 Ultra i would definitely say wait and see the S24 Ultra. Now to the people coming from a Note 10 i would definitely recommend upgrading this phone is light years from the Note 10. I hope this review helps people trying to decide. I also have owned every Iphone Flagship since the beginning most years Samsung offers more but their software was not as smooth as Apple but the S23 Ultra in my opinion offers more than the Iphone 14 Pro Max and is a better choice.

I was hesitant at first and was debating between this and a Pixel phone. My wife uses her pixel because of the simplcity of Android. I am glad that I purchased this Galaxy 23 Ultra. My views are comparing the S23 Ultra to the Pixel 7 Pro. Display- The S23 is much brighter. The display just looks richer. They are both OLED screens but the S23 looks much better when watching content. Sound- The S23 has some great sound and bass coming from it when you play music or movies. The Pixel has good sound but not as great as the S23 Ultra. Camera- This is where I think there are situations were they are user specific. The S23 does a great job with pictures, but it can over saturate at some points. My wife likes them in some situations and for others the colors are vivid. The Pixel photos look more natural and at times more washed down. The colors do not always pop. Both cameras do great with night photographery. The Pixel software is simple but the S23 gives you so many more options. They both do great if you just want to take your phone out and take a photo. The one area I think the S23 is better in is Video. If you do a lot of videos with your phone the S23 ultra is so much better. The stabilization is better, the colors look really nice, the audio recorded comes out better! They both have magic eraser and I will say the Pixel does a better job but slightly better. Two things I noticed and why I ultimatley decided on the S23 Ultra was the battery and the cooling. The battery on the Pixel seems to last about a day. On the S23 ultra I can use it all day and still have some left for the next day. It just seems to last longer. The other is the Pixel can run hot. After heavy use it seems like it would warm up much more easily then the S23 Ultra. I have had nothing like that happen on the Ultra.

Love this phone! Battery life is excellent. Photos exceptional, nice big screen. Hope to have it for a long time!

What can i say about this phone? Its great. Its super fast. It charges a smidge faster than my previous s22 Ultra. The Camera functions a little better as well in terms of stabilization and reduced noticibility of AI filtering. All these things are great! The not so great part - it is more expensive than the s22 Ultra, which is sad because you get almost exactly the same experience. I wish my toddler didnt break my previous phone, because if it did have 1 thing that was superior, it was the speakers! The S23 Ultra has reduced volume and clarity compared to this S22. And its not even close. Weird! Ill give it 4 stars because they repackaged a good device and dumbed down the speaker. and called it something else. I thought i was paying for the samsung android experience, not the apple experience.

One of the best phones you can get. Its crazy fast and capable. Its really light for what it does and very portable. Surprised by how thin it is and the one thing to note : Camera - unbeatable. Extremely flexible in terms of customization so thats an added bonus. A definite apple killer... wait... its even better than apple... just switched and very happy. The S pen sometimes doesnt connect properly... a quick restart fixes it.

I bought this phone because i really wanted an android which gives me ease to to have access my contacts,typing emails,finding contacts. And to add on it has a wonderful camera and i have enough room to save my photos and data. What more your need. It has been working brilliantly. Samsung items are best than any brand according tp my experience!

Amazing phone i have been using it for 1.5 years now. It still works great. Amazing camera and battery life. I purchased white colored and looks great too.

It is a very good cell phone and I love it, it has a screen with a great brightness, I like the volume it has, the battery life is excellent, even if it is in use it lasts a long time. I love the graphics, it has a great processor for games which don't freeze and I can play very well. The videos also look great because of the screen design.

What. A. Beast. The Battery life alone, and not to mention the beautiful and crisp pictures you can take. I am so in love with this phone and upgrading from a note 20 ultra, this is really a worthy upgrade, and dare I say, phone of the year for 2023.

Its an excellent phone, the camera quality is TOP. The big screen have a good quality and the battery excellent, lasts for all day. I'll continue buying samsung phones.

Great device with stellar performance and battery life that gets through the day. Screen is fantastic and easily viewable in direct strong sunlight. Fingerprint reader has improved immensely since last gen. Definitely recommend to others. The camera hardware is very impressive and has a lot of versatility.

The cameras are great on this device. Samsung really stepping it up this time. The software is super fast, snapdragon is finally giving a good competition to other competitors. Good phone overall, also Bestbuy honored their 1 days free shipping, customer service was great in helping me get the device ASAP.

I purchased the phone almost two weeks ago and its been great! Battery life is outstanding, cameras are very nice to use, and the screen is absolutely gorgeous! The S24 is around the corner, but if you need a phone now I would recommend this hands down.

Samsung Ultra 23S, pricey at $1,500. (they wouldn't accept my trade-in Note9 due to multiple cracked screen). But, the 23s Ultra was fresh out in the market. It is operating perfectly and was easy to set up at home. Battery life is much better than my Note9. 23s Ultra Cameras are fantastic... I really am loving it!!

If you have a chance and are able to afford this phone do yourself and buy. This has a great battery and the sound quality is great also. The camera is quick and takes good pictures. I would also watch a couple of YouTube videos as they will help you get the best of this phone.

Great phone, had to replace my s22 ultra because i left it on top of my vehicle and it got destroyed. The s23 ultra has great features, camera quality is terrific and i love the s pen. Battery life is also exceptional, lasts me all day!

Had a Note 20 Ultra upgraded to S23 Ultra 512gb Unlocked. I can see the difference when I use my phone for games, videos and apps. My old phone didn't hold a full battery charge for a day but with my S23 Ultra it lasted for 2 days easy. Performance wise S23 Ultra is way faster than my Note 20.
