    Issues With Screen

    So I purchased this phone about two months ago and it worked beautifully from the start. The design is sleek and it runs effortlessly. However, out of the blue after months of taking care of this phone a patch of blue, what looked like ink, showed up in the top left corner of the screen. I removed my case and screen protector to check if it was the protector and it wasn't. So I figured I'd take it later to get fixed. Ten minutes later more purple spots showed up in random spots on my screen. Finally, an hour after the first stain appeared y entire screen is a shade of hot pink. I have turned it off and on multiple times and the pink is still there. Confused and upset, I went to the internet only to find similar complaints about this same issue with people who've recently purchased the S6. I have always loved Galaxy's and this is highly upsetting. If you purchase this phone buy it with an extensive protection plan and do not assume it will work perfectly fine because it's new. I will be seeking help with this issue soon but I fear facing replacement issues because I bought it unlocked, without a carrier. I would be very upset if I find that this issue, which was in no way provoked by negligent behavior on my part, can't or won't be solved and I've wasted $530.

    Unlocked phone becomes locked after 1 month

    I purchased this phone in December last Year. When I first bought it, the phone was unlocked and could use any SIM card. After one month and past the return period, my phone became locked to T-mobile and now I can't use the phone. Best Buy will not do anything for me since its past the return period even though I didn't do anything to cause this to happen. I contacted Best Buy who told me to contact T-mobile who told me to contact Samsung and nobody helped me saying they can't do anything. Needless to say I am very disappointed with Samsung, T-mobile and Best Buy. I will never buy an unlocked phone from Best Buy again since I will never know if it will stay unlocked.

    Defected Product. Ridiculous Fee to exchange.

    My phone got ran over by a car, so I had to get a new phone. After much research I decided that the Galaxy S6 was within my budget and has amazing reviews. But I realized something was wrong when it took 30% battery to setup phone. Even though I heard some negative reviews about the battery but this 2015 model phone is worse than my old 2014 model One Plus One. The sales person only informed me that restocking fee would apply to a "REFUND" not "EXCHANGE". He was not helpful at all. He told me they didn't have s6 in stock, after much persistence on my behalf that I saw its availability online site, he asked his supervisor whom confirmed that it was in stock. He did not once apologize to me. If I knew earlier that there would be a fee for exchanged, I would've purchased it from another company who doesn't charge for exchange. I am very angry at the terrible customer service, misinformation, and (unknown) expensive exchange fee. FYI the BestBuy location was Henrietta in Rochester, New York.

    It's a great phone and is well made, not like older Samsung phones that I had which were all plastic and chrome painted plastic which chipped off and feel apart. This one is actually real premium materials like real aluminum, etc. instead of all that cheap plastic. It works well, is fast, is a nice size (not too big and not too small). I like the Samsung TouchWiz skin. It makes for a more user friendly Android experience. It has no support for an SD card but has 32GB so you really don't need one, but still would be nice if it had it. Of bigger concern (to me at least) is the non-removable battery. I know that's the way a lot of new phones are going, but that's bad. You can't carry a spare battery with you and can't replace the battery when it gets old and stops holding a decent charge.

    I bought this phone to replace my old cell phone (Galaxy s3). It was 3 years old and had provided good service, but I wanted the up to date model. The Samsung Galaxy S6 had exceeded my expectations. The screen is in HD and very easy to read. All of my apps from the old phone were automatically copied to the new phone. The best feature of this new phone is the dramatic increase in performance. When I bring it up it instantly logs on to my home WIFI network. Apps come up quickly, and articles pop up on the screen just as fast. As a result, when I am reading articles on Yahoo or CNN, I can get through them quickly since they pop up on the screen so fast. I can also bring up other apps very fast. Another feature is the quick charger. I can recharge the phone in a little over an hour.

    I just dropped it on my carpet accidentally in two weeks after purchasing. And its screen's gone and it has cracked little bit inside the phone. First, I just brought it to best-buy store which is near me. I explained whole story; it's dropped on soft surface and screen gone. They just said that this is out of warranty for condition. Nobody was responsible for this even fixing of phone with additional fee. They don't have good customer service. I never buy any samsung product from now. Because, I called samsung customer service and say me that you can send it to us and we will take care of it. But, they sent it back to me with unrepaired. Don't buy samsung phones because when it happens something, you never find someone to handle any issue! Also , samsung doesn't have any good customer-service.

    So the last phone I had, (the S5) that I bought off eBay lasted less than a year before the screen started to peel away on the top right corner (twice). Then the Wi-Fi wouldn't connect anymore. Then I couldn't hear or be heard without using the speaker. Wasn't really convinced LG or or any other brand was much better, and I have zero desire for Apple. Bought this S6 at Best Buy for $500 about 2-3 months ago, and so far no problems. But hey it's still new. Any new phone will remain decent for a while. Mainly chose this one because it's the last of the new phones with infrared, which out of everything else is what I wanted most in order to use the Peel Smart Remote for all my electronics. So, so far so good.

    "Unlocked" Smartphones

    I purchased an "Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S6" Smartphone "on line" a few weeks ago. After I received the phone, I took it to a Verizon store to have it activated. To my surprise, they were unable to lock it into my Verizon account.... even Best Buy tried to activate it at no prevail. Best Buy had me return it for exchange towards a new "in store" Samsung Galaxy S7 (Verizon) smartphone. Best Buy and Verizon locked and activated the phone at no extra charge. Word to the wise, beware when considering to purchase an unlocked smartphone!

    This has been my first ever Samsung phone, and I absolutely love it. It has all the features I want and need. The Display is crisp and HD. I also have the ability to personalize it however I choose. The storage space is also very nice and I can hold everything I need on the 32GB Provided. I had a 16GB before and it got a bit full quick. This one is perfect. The Display is also the perfect size with a 5.1 Inch Display. I am also pleased with the folders and how I can store as many apps in a folder as I please. Overall, I have taken a well-acquainted liking to the Samsung Galaxy S6 by Samsung.

    This is a great phone....wonderful camera ...really crisp pictures . The phone is a nice upgrade from the S5 however my only aught is that it has no microSD card slot or the phone....it is operating under similar to iPhone....I miss my storing my photos and stuff on the SD card. If anything happens to the phone it is system operated the probability of retrieving the photos would be a little more difficult.

    This Samsung Galaxy S6 (unlocked) phone works perfectly with my tmobile prepaid account. The phone is fast. It even picks up the LTE + data signal that is in many major cities. That signal seems like it is much faster than the regular LTE signal my old s3 used to pick up. Works perfect. Battery lasts all day which is much longer than my old S3 too. Shipped in a timely manner. Worth the price of admission.

    This was my first Samsung/Android device, so it took some time to get used to the Android operating system - i think perhaps a lot longer than it took to initially understand iOS. The hardware itself feels pretty lightweight and plastic-y, but the resolution of the screen offers a nice bright, crisp display. There are so many Android devices on the market now, and this one seems overpriced for what it is, but in the end the Samsung name gave me more confidence than the other options. So far so good, I'd say.

    My first phone from Samsung and second Android phone. It came with free wireless charger. overall phone looks good except two things that i am not very happy about #1 Back button and multi screen buttons placement,I accidentally hit it which takes away from app / call. one less thing to worry about after I switched to Bluetooth for important or long calls. #2 Compared to nexus 6p Samsung galaxy s6 gets very warm after using few minutes video camera, I have to stop taking video for few mins to cool it down.

    When I purchased this phone I was under the impression that I would be able to activate it under a Verizon account. I bought the phone outright because it was the product that I wanted but it certainly wasn't able to be activated by Verizon. There were t mobile programs on the phone and that is a dead give away that it was not "unlocked" I called t mobile and they would send the codes to unlock the device but they were 3 weeks out. I lost my patients at this point and returned the device.

    I had the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I knew I would like to upgrade to a newer phone. My daughter had the Samsung S6 and loved it, so a year later, I bought it. My teenage daughter is pretty rough on phones, and uses it constantly and we always had good luck with the Samsung Galaxy phones. I have heard they are better than the Apple phones and I believe it. I am not tech so tech savy--and this is very user friendly. I would highly recommend it.

    I do not like the selection of emojies with this phone. My LG which is alot less quality had alot better selection of them. It has a large capacity of storage and it takes very high quality of pictures. I bought this phone because it was an unlocked phone. I wanted to have the freedom to go to any phone carrier and not be trapped. If Best Buy would havevhad Iphones I would have bought it instead but this was my second choice. Its easy to use.

    The Galixy S6 is a great phone and I am very pleased with its performance. I really like the battery life, I can use this phone all day and still have power to spare. The only reason that I did not rate this phone with five stars is that I would have liked to have a micro SD slot as is the case with previous Galixy phones. The only other negative is that the phone is very slippery so you will need a good case to address this little problem.

    I just had Best Buy help transfer my contacts, apps etc. from my S3 to the S6, using "smart switch" by Samsung. It all went smoothly. This S6 is the unlocked version, so I am able to use it with my no contract carrier (T-Mobile). The phone is sleek and works well; no hiccups. It takes beautiful pictures! I was quite happy with my older phone, but needed a phone to pass on to my teenager, so I got the new one to enjoy. :)

    Samsung is one of the leading representatives for the Android Community. This is my first Samsung phone that I have had and I absolutely love it because of the ease to use and the different variety of settings that I can customize with. I needed an Unlocked phone to use with T-Mobile. I got it for only $450 during a weekly deal. I decided to upgrade from my previous phone, the LG Nexus 5.

    I always say get an unlocked phone because you never know when you will have commitment issues and change providers without having to pay off the entire lump sum. I got this with 6 months to pay it off but I was able to pay it off faster because I got it at a great price plus it was brand new and I didn't have to worry about the phone being blacklisted which happened to me once.
