After being a loyal Samsung/Galaxy customer for many years today is a sad day. After only owning my Galaxy S7 Edge for 13 days I have cracked/shattered my front screen. First of all I didn't even drop the phone, my phone was in my lap and I was tossing my lighter (maybe 5in above the phone) and didn't catch it. Well of course It landed right on the glass edge of the finger print/home button and it cracked most of the screen! Like really! I researched online and found that this is a problem many other S7/S7 Edge owners are experiencing, breaking their screen in situations that the screen should be able to withstand. I did not get insurance on the phone because I was confident in the Samsung/Galaxy name, having owned other galaxy phones and putting them though many drops in the 2 yrs I owned them with never any cracks or shattered screens. I am sad to say that if you are looking to upgrade, or just buying a new phone, do not go with the Galaxy S7/S7 egde, because of the build quality alone. The phone itself, as far as operating system and programs is an amazing phone. But the glass phones are obviously not a good idea, even Apple finally went away from it, so why on Earth would Galaxy choose to go to all glass phones! I'd rather they stuck with the cheap (but much more durable) plastic design. I am now stuck with a brand new/broken phone for 2 years, and when that time is up you can guarantee I will be looking elsewhere for durable build qulity, not just flashy looks, I have learned my lesson (Gorilla Glass 4, HA!)....

i bought this phone over two years ago and its starting to have a few hickups here and there but overall its still going strong. i am hard on phones and dont like to replace them until they are completely dead. this phone takes a beating and keeps going.

Upgraded to this when my S5 started getting buggy. Definitely a nice upgrade. Runs much faster and the camera is definitely nicer. I like the upgraded storage capacity though getting the memory card in and out is a bit of a pain. Battery life is great and the always on screen is a nice feature.

No problems yet. The phone has been working perfectly since purchased a bit over a month ago. Love the screen that stays on all day. I also love that it doesn't use up the battery quickly. Fast Charge is amazing, 10 minutes can get you approximately 50% charge. Would buy again if I ever needed it.

Don't get me wrong, the display looks good and the phone is good, but the display is being misadvertised. This specs page claims a resolution of "Quad HD" which means 2560x1440, but it's important to know that this display is RG/BG Pentile, meaning it omits every other red and blue subpixel. It is not truly 2560x1440 because it does not have a grid of 2560x1440 individual fully-colorable square regions (pixels). Lots of other phones have true-1920x1080 and true-2560x1440 displays, with all three primaries (red, green, and blue) in each pixel, but the Galaxy S4/5/6/7 and Note 3/4/5/7 displays have never been truly 1920x1080 or 2560x1440. I attached an image showing this difference with the Chrome logo. On the left, a RG/BG "diamond" pentile display with the same "resolution" as the clearer true-RGB display on the right. Notice how only every other "pixel" on the pentile display can contribute to red or blue.

This phone was my first android phone after switching from iphone. I have to say it is a wonderful phone! The difference between the screen resolutions and the cameras are incredible. I love how customizable android is and this phone is no different. I was able to customize pretty much everything I wanted. The only issue I had was switching over my content from iPhone to Samsung but that was to be expected.

Voice recognition could be better especially punctuation. Has a great camera. Many of the features are in different places then I'm used to and I haven't found all of them. Have difficulty staying hooked up to my printer. Always having to reset the phone and the printer. All in all this is a real nice phone and I'm sure they will get all the bugs out of it soon. I have gotten many compliments on the gold color.

Samsung Galaxy S7. Llke that it is water proof, battery life good, screen size good

Love this Samsung phone! Still operating great! Will stay with Samsung for future purchases.

in think best phone i have had by far. lots of apps available. better camera than i-phone and other androids i've seen. no problems like galaxy note battery. battery life is not what they say unless you keep wifi and bluetooth off. charges very quickly. very compatible with pc world.

If this phone will hold a charge well I'll be satisfied. The camera is excellent.

I upgraded from a Galaxy S4 to the S7. I am very pleased with the many functions and features. The camera is fantastic, with lots of options . I am an amateur photographer but don't always have my camera with me. Now I have a good dependable camera with me since I don't leave home without it.

Got it as a bday present for the Mrs. So far she is very happy and the free tv didn't hurt.

Great phone. Faster than the S5 it replaced. Only negative is that the app I use to sync my contacts, calendar, etc with Outlook on my laptop requires the USB connection to be in MTP mode. The phone always goes back to charge only, so there are a couple of extra taps required when I synch.

I needed to find a new phone to replace my old one that got water damage. So far so good!

It has very good camera and the apps were adequate on the phone the design is sleek

I like this phone. It is very similar to the S5, but is faster and had more memory.

Being new to a smart phone, I found this one very easy to learn to use. Easy to navigate between apps, the virtual keyboard (my first) was fairly easy to get used to, and it fits where I want to put it when going out. I was a little surprised at how often I need to charge it, considering I don't use much data at all (charge it about every two days). Overall I am glad I finally have a smart phone.

I love the fact that you can take a picture with your first finger on the back of the phone. Wish they would change the process for taking a screen shot though. Takes too many attempts to get a picture. I usually end up closing the screen/app I'm attempting to take a screen shot of.

Great phone, sharp screen, abundant features, replaceable battery would be better.
