This is great addition from the Samsung product line

This is a nice phone but I wanted the NOTE 7 phone

Only really bought this phone because it was part of a deal at Best Buy to get a gift card which covered the cost of my new Samsung tablet. Still getting used to new funtionality that isn't as friendly as it was on the S4. Not a bad phone so far.

It functions well for everything I use it for. The touch screen seems to be more sensitive than previous Galaxy phones I've had though. For example, when holding the phone to my ear, my cheek activated the speaker button inadvertently.

It is a nice phone. But there are just too many differences that have to be changed to make it work like my previous Samsung Galaxy phone. My only reason for getting a new phone is that I had to upgrade if I wanted to update any of my apps.

One of the primary reasons I purchased this phone was because of the battery claims that Samsung announced. My previous phone would barely make it through the day, which was my only complaint. With location turned off, all applications set to minimize data use, notifications disable, AND in sleep mode, the phone goes from 100% at 9 PM to 52% at 6AM the following morning without ever being used. Everything else about the phone is superb, but with a battery that doesn't deliver, I would look elsewhere

This device does not perform well in marginal coverage areas. I previously used a Galaxy 5 & the reception was much better. The Galaxy 7 does not provide 4G coverage or switches to 3G in marginal coverage areas. i.e. With 5 had 2 bars of 4G & with 7 in the same spot it switches to 3G service or has 4G 1 bar. The result is missed calls and reduced data speeds. After researching, it appears Samsung changed the internal antenna configuration which has impacted certain customers coverage.

Upgraded from an S5. Was trying to decide between the S7 and an iPhone 7. Stuck with what I know and got the S7. Not a tremendous difference between the S5 and S7 for my purposes - texting, emails, web surfing.

I haven't noticed much difference between the s7 and s6 phones. I dont use the phone alot during the day and i have to have the extended battery case on or my phone runs out halfway through the day.

I had an S4 prior to this phone. It worked great inside my house, my S7 does not. Everyone tells me they can't hear me. Same location and supposedly an upgrade version of my old galaxy. Could be Verizon?

I upgraded to the s7 looking forward to a new phone with no problems and found out its not much better then my old phone. It locks up, sometimes it will have a black screen and i have to do a hard restart.

Like everything about it except no service because you have to reset SD card so often. It happened 3 times when I first brought it home...two weeks after that...was to late to return phone at best buy...
