Unfortunately, the parental controls cannot be used with this item. That was one of the reasons we decided to get a smart phone. We were led to believe it would work, but found out differently.

I cant find a screen protector that will stay on for more than a few days. I only have to bump it and it comes loose or cracks. Quit replacing it and now screen is cracked.

My S5 would let me play games, browse Web or send pics all while on the phone. This one won't unless hooked up to WiFi. Pretty disappointing but other than that it's been a good phone.

Amazing speed, water resistant, and nice software

Overall the software experience is amazing. It is really fast and does not stutter like galaxy S phones have in the past. It is very water resistant.Have dropped in the sink and used in the rain with no problems. The camera is great in low light and focuses brilliantly. Selfie camera is a bit too wide for me. Digitally zooming in fixes this

The phone itself was realy nice, however mine got very hot to the point I couldn't touch it. I returned it for an S7 Edge, which I love. I could have just got a defective one.

Great for but battery drainage is horrible! I had to purchase a portable charger for when I am somewhere where I can not plug it in.

Good phone, but I dropped it 1 time from about a foot up, with a case on it, and it shattered. Thankfully I have insurance, but my old S5 got dropped 50 times with 0 issues.

Hurry to get a great phone and offer

I was hesitant to get a bigger phone, but I found the S7 not bulky, easy to hold and light. I have not try most functionality yet, but so far everything works great and performance is awesome. The camera, even with less resolution produces actually better pictures inside. The only negative I've seen so far is that it gets hot, specially when using the Gear VR ... which is awesome by the way. BB offer is very attractive with the additional SD in addition to the Gear. The service in the store was great and getting it earlier than anybody else is a great plus. I recommend you hurry before is over. And Samsung is offering a charger to sign up for pay.

Sales person not very informative. I wish he would have explained that 2 year agreement meant I was paying for the phone, which I only learned when he asked for the money.

Seems like a nice update to the previous phone. Can't see a huge reason to upgrade unless your old phone was dead like mine.

    S7 Better Than Expected

I have to say that I was extremely happy with the purchase of the new Samsung Galaxy S7. I have had the phone for 4 months, and so far have been pleased with its performance and its features. This phone is geared towards young adults who need a phone that is durable, has many added features, and that can be used for long durations. They do a great job of making sure the phone accomplishes these capabilities and that it is attractive to their intended consumers. I will discuss the pros and cons of the S7 based on its durability, battery, cost, and design. Pros: • Slim size and light weight that fits easily into any pocket • Water resistant, which has proven true as I’ve dropped it into water multiple times and it still worked perfectly once it was removed. • The phone is extremely durable and has a crack resistant screen. I have dropped the phone multiple times without resulting in any damage to the phone. • Its speed performance is above par; this allows apps to open quickly with no lag and this has proven to stay consistent after 4 months. • Battery life is better than S6, and lasts longer than expected. Even after heavy use with the phone, the battery charge lasted the whole day. Cons: • Price; The phone cost $699 but can be cut down to a monthly payment of $28, making it easier to pay. • With constant use the phone can overheat, though this is common in most phones with overuse • Battery Charge; the battery charger for this phone states that it should be fully charged from zero in 1 hour. So far I have found it to take around 1 ½ hour. Though this is still faster than the previous S6 and S5. Keep in mind that I have used my phone moderately since purchase and have had a thin protective case around it. Overall, I was impressed with the phone’s capabilities and the features it provides. It either matched or exceeded my expectations and I will continue to use Galaxies after this. I would recommend the Galaxy S7 to anyone looking for a new phone.

This is a nice phone. I am up grading from a Galaxy Note 4. The S7 has the up to date features but the screen is smaller and the case is too small for my hands.

The camera is worse than the S6 and this one overheats quickly. Seems to have a better battery life than the S6.

Does. Not stay charged well. Uses up charge even when I am not using it for anything. I am sure if I played games on it .. Dead battery would be imminent.

This is a great phone but I had two issue with this phone. 1st the phone's battery over heated luckily I still have the 14 day warranty on it. After I changed the phone the second one the screen went black out. So now I have to return it again to exchange for the other one. Is just a bad experience for me on this phone. On top of that the best buy's manager by Plaza Bonita in Chula Vista is giving me a hard time exchanging my phone and he tried to sell me an insurance for it.

I like the overall phone and I had an IPhone5 before. The only problem I have with it is the battery life. I have to charge it twice a day since day one.

I was expecting more with all the hype of the S7 but I think it's OK. I am annoyed that Samsung makes different version that can't be rooted. So stupid.

Depending on the incentives, I might go with he iPhone but it depends on your preferences. Doesn't really seem any better than the previous Galaxy.
