I like my phone but I get absolutely NO coverage in my house. My IPhone worked throughout my entire home but I have to walk outside to get coverage on this phone - it won't even work on my covered porch. That's okay in July but it's not going to be okay in January.

Phone was cool, but not what I wanted. Returned the same day I recieved it via UPS. I used my upgrade to purchase this device. I have now waited 6 days for best buy to even process the return since having it. My frustration lies with missing out on two separate verizon promotions in the meantime because they have not processed this item to show that I'm upgrade eligible again. I have called several times and get weak and contradicting responses (PROMISES) each time. After several calls (some that I was hung up on) my frustrations grows deeper. My advice if you return anything, make sure it is to a local store. In my case that was not an option, so I guess I'll be at the hands of their terrible customer service.

Overall good phone. Battery could be better.......

I don't know why but with this phone I don't have service I did before with my old phone. Even in obvious places where I should have good service I don't. And i haven't changed providers just phone. I even switch back to my old phone perfect service.

Best Buy has been good to work with. However, I am not impressed with Samsung! My phone is randomly restarting. The Geek Squad helped me back up and do a factory reset. It still does it. Took it to a Best Buy that is an authorized service center. They ran a full diagnostics on it and found no problem. Phone is still restarting. Samsung will not replace the phone that is less than one month old. My only option is to ship it in for repairs and be without the phone for up to 11 days. It has not been dropped or gotten wet. It is in a protective case as well. This is probably my last Samsung device due to their poor support.

The Galaxy phone isn't that great I have had issues after the first 6 months of service. You can't transfer everything over to the Micro card, only pics. The phone gets hot very easily, sometimes it restarts on it's own.

Phone keeps freezing up, screen flickers and loads incredibly slow and the texting function is off kilter with the touch. Taking it back in and having it looked at. A brand new phone should not run as poorly as this one.

I bought the S7 Edge to replace my six-month old LG V10. I liked the V10, and sadly Samsung does not use the 32bit DAC which the V10 has. But the V10's poor battery life just was too much of a problem to be used by a road warrior. The S7 Edge's battery life is substantially better. With average daily use (a few phone calls, regular email and text sending and receiving, an hour's worth of Internet searching) the phone has about 30% of power left after a 16-hr day. I was concerned that the always-on screen would sap the battery. I ran a test and found that the screen eats up about one and a half percent per hour. The screen is beyond gorgeous. Colors pop. Black is black. Typefaces are razor sharp. The 5.5" screen is a right-sized screen - - big enough to comfortably use and small enough to slide into Jean pockets without sticking up out of the pocket as a beacon to pick-pockets. The Bluetooth is solid, as is WiFi. The external speaker is loud but useless for serious listening. Serious listening requires earphones. The DAC is only 16bit (the mediocre norm), so this phone can never be more than an okay audio playback device. The camera is excellent. The screen edge isn't nearly the gimmick I thought it was. It is actually a useful feature. I really like the always-on screen displaying the time, battery level, date, and number of messages. The fingerprint scanner works nearly 100% of the time. It will go from 40% power to 100% power in two hours using a wireless charging. Some things to consider if you are weighing getting this phone. It is really expensive, it's made of fragile glass, and it's curved edge compromises how well a protective case can protect the phone without interfering with the edge functions. I would be afraid to own this phone without carrier insurance to replace the phone in the event of owner-caused damage. I see so many reviews that rave about this phone's style and tactile feel. But it's style and slipperiness scream to have a protective case which will cover up all that style and certainly change the tactile feel. All things considered, this is the best phone I have ever owned. I would highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't seem the negatives I have reported as deal-killers.

GPS voice driving directions has not worked since I bought phone. Have made several trips to store about it have replaced Sim card worked one day then stopped next trip to store will be to replace phone.

I purchased this phone and used it for a few days. It was running so hot and the battery was draining too quickly for a brand new phone. I had the Samsung guy at Best Buy look at the phone. He said that there were some setting that could be adjusted, but that I would probably be better exchanging the phone since I was still within that time frame. It was very annoying because I already had the phone set up and then had to do that all over again on another phone.

This phone was overheating and not saving any of my settings. I had to return the phone and switch it for another S7. Luckily, I did this within the 14 day window, but it was really annoying. I spent another entire evening having to switch the phones and then I had to re-save my information again. Please sell working phones!!

It's a Samsung, I had to settle for this due to the issues with the Note 7, this phone does not comes close and hope that Samsung can fix the issues and get the Note 8 out sooner than later

I bought this phone for my girlfriend to replace a Galaxy S4. Before we even left the store, the phone had to be replaced due to a defective camera. Once she started using it, the phone would not work with blue tooth and Wi-Fi, both turned on. Samsung has not acknowledged this problem. She found it online. We ended up returning it and getting an iPhone 6S.

My phone dropped in kitchen one time and cracked the screen. I have S6 that fell a couple times and was fine. Didn't have this phone 2 weeks and now have to replace screen.

This phone is almost the same as the s6 has a few better features but it doesn't hold service as well as the s6 so the features don't do any good when you can't use the phone...

Old review....I bought this when it first came out, I returned it and went to back to my old iPhone. The battery died every couple of hours.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is one of the most versatile phones out there. The S7’s water resistance and the Samsung Health app make this phone perfect for outdoor workouts in most weather conditions. After several different splash tests, which included the phone becoming fully submerged, the phone still worked properly. The only thing that was effected, was that the sound coming from the speaker would become muffled until the phone completely dried. Another great attribute about the S7 is its durability. Most people try to avoid dropping their phone, but sometimes things happen. I have dropped this phone only a few times and have noticed no damage to the phone. The S7’s processing power also makes it an ideal phone for mobile gaming. It performs fantastically on games with higher end graphics than its predecessors with less stuttering and crashes. However, playing these games does drain the battery at a much faster rate. The battery life on average lasts the majority of the day and with the fast charger that comes with the phone, it charges in just over an hour. The phone does have an issue with getting warm while charging or when using certain applications. One of my favorite features of this phone compared to my old Galaxy S5, is the camera. The camera is much improved over the S5’s and has new settings such as being able to use both the front and back cameras simultaneously. Samsung also gives you the option to download other modes for free at no extra cost. The rear camera can take photos up to 1080p definition while the front take photos at720p. One of the improvements from the previous generations of the Galaxy is the fingerprint scanner. On the S5, the fingerprint scanner was clunky and unreliable making it irrelevant to use. This version of the fingerprint scanner is much more accurate and reads your prints much simpler by just placing your finger on the home button. Overall this is a fantastic phone. The reason I give it four out of 5 stars is due to the fact that the phone has a couple kinks. The biggest of these kinks is the loss of reception and not being able to connect to the LTE network but this may be more an issue from the cellular provider over the phone itself. The other issue I have is that the phone is pretty big. I have sometimes accidentally hit the return or the recent applications button while holding it sideways while taking photos or using other applications sometimes exiting me out of what I was trying to do at the time.

Got this phone in exchange for one my daughter broke. No explanation on warranty on that phone when purchased. Not easy directions on new phone.

My Daughter wanted this phone for xmas. I have an S7 Edge as well. My original review is buried with all the other 1 star reviews that don't populate automatically. With that being said, this phone is made of glass both front and back and will shatter with less than a one foot fall. If you buy this phone a cover is a must. The Edge feature for me is too close to where your fingers touch and hold the phone. I bought my son A G5 and he lovers it.
