THIS IS AN AMAZING PHONE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from a Samsung Note 4 to the Samsung S7 a couple of days ago and I am so happy that I did. It is so fast, has an amazing camera, and I like that it is smaller than the note and the S7 edge. It is a beautiful phone and I would recommend this to everyone. Samsung is the best!

Amazing phone, but no talking & surfing seriously?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is seriously gorgeous, powerful, and amazing in every way but one. Unfortunately it's a big flaw by today's standards... you cannot "talk & surf" at the same time. In other words, while you're on a phone call you cannot use the internet, nor send an email that you were just writing prior to the call, etc. This problem was quite honestly a total shock to me as my previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy S4 - which had no problem whatsoever multi-tasking like that, ever. I had my old phone for three years and I multi-tasked calls and data usage all the time with my Galaxy S4 in fact. It turns out that the Samsung Galaxy S4 (and Galaxy S5 too for that matter) have dual antennas - one for phone calls and one for data connection. So the much older Samsung phones worked great. Apparently Samsung - for whatever reason - decided to cut some corners and remove the dual antennas on all the Galaxy S7 phones. This is really bad news if your phone carrier uses the CDMA cellular system (like Sprint, Verizon, others...) as CDMA cannot accommodate talking & surfing simultaneously. The only way around this problem is if you are connected to a useable Wi-Fi network somewhere - which is just a bandaid, obviously. If you want to talk & surf on a Galaxy S7 phone then you'll need to have a GSM system phone (like AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.). This is a deal-breaker for me. I take business calls all the time while I'm emailing, or need to look something up online during a call - business related or not. With my Galaxy S7 on this network - I need to excuse myself from the call and hang up first, then look up what I need quickly, then make another call and hope to continue where I left off with whom I was speaking to... not so easy when you're on a conference call or speaking to a specific customer service rep about an issue you have. My smartphone is basically my do-everything device, and it should be too. By 2016 standards this is ludicrous and totally unacceptable. Samsung failed to continue using dual antennas and these CDMA networks (Sprint & Verizon namely) cannot handle multi-tasking without the right phone. You'll need a phone with dual antennas or buy a Galaxy S7 on a GSM network like AT&T or T-Mobile.

Great Except for SD Card/Samsung CS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been a "moto man" for my last 2-3 phones and decided to give the new S7 a shot. Really like the phone in virtually every way: battery, look and feel, size, etc. However this a glitch with SOME of the devices and how they handle the SD card, where the device keeps ejecting it, which is pretty annoying especially if you keep a lot of stuff on the SD like music and apps. Multiple people have complained online and to Customer Service, yet Samsung refuses to officially acknowledge this as a known issue. So in order to get my device fixed i need to lose it for a week, which is beyond unacceptable. Bottom line: if you don't end up with one of the devices with the SD card issue, its a great phone. If you do, you may be in for some headaches.

Good so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the phone, but when I picked it up they took out my quick start guide and threw it away (wtf). But I've been trying to get it set up, I just can't transfer all my photos through smart switch with the correct time stamp on it so now I have to jump through hoops to transfer the individual files onto my new phone with a laptop

Nice phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good phone for the most part. I would purchase this phone again or another Samsung phone when its time to upgrade again. Pros: Picture and camera quality are excellent. Very vivid colors. Phone is easy to use. Cons: Phone sometimes glitches after updates. Battery loses its charge fast (based on owning the phone for only 6 months)

My Third Samsug Galaxy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Samsung Galaxy S7! The Samsung Galaxy phones just keep getting better and better! I love that it is a bit lighter than the Galaxy 6 and a bit thinner. The new enhancements, phone, features (especially the camera), speed, and clarity are amazing! Can't wait for the next version of the Samsung Galaxy phones!

Best phone and best deal
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely incredible phone with $400 gift card deal. This phone costs $255 just to make. With the $400 gift card, it costs about $270 to own. I have tested the phone for a week and found the battery and camera to be its strongest points, not to mention its brilliant OLED screen.

Awesome phone!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this phone. I previously had the Samsung Galaxy S3 and this is a great upgrade. I got a great deal on it from Best Buy and a free charger too. The battery life is good, the memory capacity is more than sufficient, and the phone has lots of great features.

My Wife Loves the Camera
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is so easy to use and set up. All the apps from her previous wifi-only HTC installed without a glitch. She says the phone battery lasts all day and fits great in her hands. It quickly charges with the supplied charger and cable.

Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from Galaxy S 5 to S 7 and love it! Happy they brought back the water resistant and SD card, and the camera is awesome too! For me, the challenge was realizing the difference in using the fingerprint, S 5 swipe motion vs. S 7 hold still.

First time Galaxy user and i love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a first time Galaxy user and I absolutely love this phone! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it but the camera is amazing, easy to use, so much more personalization than the iPhone. Very easy to use but the battery life isn't the greatest.
