I had recently purchased the refurbished Samsung S7 phone carrier by Verizon and returned it because I would only be able to use Verizon or Verizon prepaid for the year until I receive the Unlock code. I wanted to use the phone with any cellphone carrier. But, I changed my mind and ordered the Samsung S7 Unlocked phone in Gold. I absolutely love the phone and I can easily remove any unnecessary apps and use with any phone carrier such as VERIZON SPRINT, TMOBILE, and AT&T, Simple Mobile, TRacfone, Virgin Mobile. Put the Zagg Invisible Shield immediately to protect the front of the screen and purchased a Tech21 black case.

i've been reluctant for a while to use a Samsung. Always thought that the hype for the brand was to high. Anyway, because of a combinations of events, i ended up owning a S7. I must say I'm grateful surprised about how easy is to use the phone, and how easy it was because of the preinstalled apps to recover all of my data and contact information from my older phone. I'm still missing some features like the double-tap to sleep/awake, but the always-on feature is neat. I don't like much either that some apps can't be disabled (the samsung apps), but if you removed from the defaults, they don't give much problems. oh, almost forget. Battery life is good, not great. About 12-14 hours with normal use (using 3G instead of LTE, facebook browsing, ocassional photo, playing games) Good thing is that it can be recharged relatively quickly with the in-the-box power addapter.

Bought this phone for my mom. She's 72. It serves its purpose. She doesn't need something super fast. Only used for calls, texts and social media. She wishes the screen was a bit larger but she didn't want to spend that much for a Note

I am a T-Mobile customer. I knew I wanted to upgrade to the Galaxy S7 but was waiting for the price to come down. I was able to get an unlocked phone here at BB for $100 less than getting the same phone from T-Mobile.

The Samsung S7 is highly capable. With a 32GB SD card in addition to the 32GB memory the phone is truly multifunctional device for apps, communication, social media, photos, movies, scheduling calendar, meeting notes, voice recorder, and many other items. A very stable well built device. It is truly GREAT that Best Buy offers this phone unlocked, without the usual garbage found on locked devices.

I purchased the unlocked S7 back in November 2016. I went with the unlocked so I could change carriers and not have to buy another phone. I love the Galaxy S Series phones and this phone has definitely definitely not been a disappointment! It's loaded with more features than I could ever ask for. I love the camera. It makes even a horrible pic taker like me look good. I activated this phone right after I purchased it and I've had no problems. My One Big Disappointment with this phone - and this was a big selling point for me - was it had WiFi Calling. However, I found that it does not have WiFi Calling. I kept the phone anyway and it has worked wonderfully. I also purchased a 2nd Unlocked S7 for my better half and have experienced no problems with it either.

I bought two of these phones consecutively because it was my first time with an unlocked phone. I was skeptical that the reception would be poor and that some of the reviews were true regarding the 4G LTE. I've had the phone for 3 months now and it has caused no issues for me. It worked immediately when the micro SIM was inserted. All features of the phone are exceptional since my old phone was a Note 3. I really like the battery life. There are moments when I expected the battery to be drained, but it wasn't even at 50%. However, there is one con. Features such as Wifi calling and video calling are not available to me as I am an ATT customer (It does work for T-mobile). Apparently, you need ATT's software to access these features. On a brighter note,the software updates are received immediately on my phone without it being vetted through the phone provider. That's a win for me!

I bought this phone when my iPhone SE was dropped and my screen shattered! Sad face! But for the price point, compared to buying a brand new iphone, this was a better fit for my budget, and the camera is AMAZING!!!

Have only had phone a short while, but so far it works great. It's nice looking, fast and the battery life is good.(Of course I'm prone to disabling things I don't use, so that helps) I just got rid of my Galaxy s4 that I've had for over 5 years and have found some of the things Samsung has changed in my opinion are not for the better. Under "settings" things are not nearly as well organized or easy to find as on the S4. Also, the glass back makes the phone more fragile, so putting a case on it is smart, but once you do, in most instances that pretty back is going to be covered up anyway. There are several other things I liked better the way they were, but maybe it's just me. It is a good phone, though and I do recommend it.

Great affordable phone. Decided to go with this phone because it was at a reasonable price. My teen does not need a expensive phone. This phone does the same job as other expensive phones.

I used Samsung products for over 10 years and they work as expected for the most part. The camera quality is good but not as great as a Galaxy Note or Apple product. As soon as you hit the 3 years limit, issues start to pop up. About half of the calls did not go through. The phone did not even show that there were missed calls. Text messages also lagged or will not show up at all. Most phones are not expected to last beyond 2 years so it's not unexpected. In general, most Galaxy S series are good but a bit pricey for people who does not require more than the basic functions. One quality I do like is the size is more manageable than the other Samsung products.

I had a Galaxy S3 for four years and was due for an upgrade. I am very happy with the S7. The phone isn't much bigger than the S3 and that's fine with me because I carry it in my front pants pocket. I also love the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. The battery in the S7 lasts much longer than the one in the S3 and charges very quickly with the Samsung Fast Charger. I was also grateful that Samsung came out with the Smart Switch software {http://www.samsung.com/us/smart-switch/} which made it very easy to copy all my contacts, music, and pictures over to the new phone. I will also use the software to back up my phone occasionally. Though I feel the S7 was a little overpriced it has been worth the extra $$$ so far.
