As a person who takes care of quality goods for extended periods of time to extract value, this handset has everything I'll need until newer tech or software obsolescence demands another upgrade. The internal specs are as expected for a 2016 model flagship Android phone and the performance seems to match. Coming from a Galaxy S4, the improvement in performance is quite noticeable. While it doesn't have a replaceable battery (seemingly a trade-off to allow water and dust resistance) it does have expandable storage. The battery life, if not a revelation, is as expected; it will easily hold up over use-daily-and-charge-overnight cycles (turning on wifi or bluetooth only on demand is a smart way to conserve life also).

I had a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that was great, just a bit too large for my hands. I dropped it and the screen cracked, so I decided to get the iPhone SE. Wow! What a mistake. I ended up using the iPhone for 3 months before buying the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S7. We've had Samsung phones in the past & each one gets better. Bought this for my husband who is not tech savvy. He was able to learn most of the functions easily. The hardest part was figuring out where to find certain settings, but even that was made easier by downloading the manual. Picture & video quality is great & it holds a charge so much longer than my S6, plus love the expandable memory!

I was looking for another Samsung. My last one was a S5. The S7 has an excellent camera and a long battery life. I'm my opinion it's the best android on the market.

Best phone ever! Clear sound while talking, the camera take great pictures, its so much faster then my other phone I upgraded from. Love everything about it!

This S7 is by far the best phone I have ever owned. The front camera is phenominal and the selfee camera is also great. There are unlimited apps you can use and it is so fast at everything. Battery life is also exceptional. For the amount of things that you can do with your phone these days the price is well within reason. I would recommend to anyone looking to buy there next phone.

First smart phone for me. Went through three Samsung Rugby flip phones before I reluctantly upgraded to the Galaxy S7. Should have made that change years ago. No longer do I need to carry a separate camera and the phone is clear and crisp. Best of all it was $200 dollars cheaper than buying a locked phone from my phone provider which allows me to shop for the best deals.

Awesome battery life and good OS. The memory is just adequate, but can be expanded using a memory card. Good price for this product.

This phone is an all around winner. The size, the color and clarity of the screen and the speed of operation is great. Too many functions to describe. The rear camera shoots great photos, however, selfies (front camera) are a little distorted at certain angles and appear grainy in dim lighting. I don't tend to take too many selfies, so this is not a problem for me. The sound quality is crisp and clear on both standard and speaker modes. Battery life is fantastic and the quick charge is a lot faster than anticipated. The only thing I would have to say bad isn't really about the phone, but more for the accessories. The slight bevel to the screen does pose a problem when trying to purchase a protective screen glass. Apparently the manufactures do not accommodate for the bevel and therefore the glass does not sit correctly over the face along the sides of the phone. Still trying to find one that will fit correctly, but as a temporary fix, it will do to protect it. Unlocked version is the way to go, not only for the freedom to choose your carrier, but for the lack of bloatware usually pre-installed by the individual carriers.

I research stuff until my brain feels like it will explode...and of course we are all looking for specific things that matter most to us. That being said, I picked this phone for many reasons mainly the camera, which is absolutely amazing, and unlocked because I live in an area that gets almost no reception and I knew I was going to have to try many companies to find the right one that worked. I did with Verizon, but I want the option to change anytime I want. I also needed a phone that would work in other countries without a crazy amount of work. This is that phone. One note though....if you buy it at Best Buy they only give you 14 days to get insurance on it and I was out of the country immediately after purchasing and could not get back in time to purchase the insurance so I am without insurance....make the 14 day window as they have showed me no flexibility here.

I upgraded from a Galaxy S5 to the S7. I use ATT prepaid so I purchased outright. So far I am 100% pleased with my decision. Phone is much faster, the camera is better, battery life is better. I also got amazing assistance in the Reno store from Jesus with phonesetup, contact transfer etc.

This S7 was more than I expected. Great phone and an outstanding price. works well and very fast, love it!

Love this phone. Size is not too large nor too small. Reception, camera and video are great. Highly recommend unlocked versions b/c you don't waste valuable memory with carrier enforced apps and software. Will never go back to "free" phone deals through my carrier again!

I purchased this unlocked phone with the intention of switching from AT&T to Verizon in the next couple months. Overall, the unlocked phone is just as good (and by that I mean ridiculously overpriced) deal as the Next plan. Either way, you're paying the $650+ for the phone, this way, it's all yours immediately. Also, there is a $99 warranty that totally replaces the phone for any reason- which you don't get with the plans anymore without a $200+ deductible. Overall, this phone is great. The features work well, it runs quickly, and the camera quality is amazing. It truly beats any iPhone in camera quality by a long shot, particularly in low light. However, being on an AT&T plan, my mobile data was not automatically connected. After sitting at a Best Buy for 2 hours, the employee, who had been on the phone with AT&T for 45 minutes, was able to only get my phone to connect with "e", "h", and "h+" data service- NO 3g or 4g. It seems to be just as fast, but not as 'good'? and a huge hassle to figure out with the unlocked phone. I've heard it's easier and better overall quality once put on Verizon. I'll just have to wait and see.

Chances are you already know about this phone by the time you reach this page. Yet.. the camera is awesome! The display is nice and smooth. Just the right size for a smart phone, for me! Good specs and WATERPROOF! I have liked Apple products so far, but I'm loving this one. Definitely worth it!

Yes I know it is "outdated" ( OMG CAME OUT A YEAR AGO) but it is doing everything I need to, perfectly well. Great camera, decent battery life more than adequate performance , good screen, good price ...and you get an SD card slot. What more can you ask for?

I bought this on sale. I had an S5 that was on its last legs. I had been looking for a while, on line, at different retailers. I wanted an unlocked phone so I didn't need to pay monthly. The S7 and S8 were on sale, after much consideration, I selected the S7

I was originally going to get the Samsung 8 but the reason I bought The S7 is that it has expandable memory. I wanted this one for that reason mostly. The S7 has a great camera with a wide aperture for low light pictures and with the 64Gb memory card I added I can now take great videos of my son's band. I am very pleased with The Samsung Galaxy S7 and I definitely recommend it.
