I bought this phone to replace S4 and decided to spend the extra money ($530) for the most current samsung galaxy instead of s5 or s6. The phone is fast, takes great pictures and videos, and battery lasts way longer than my s4 (about 2-3 days with minimal use); however, I have encountered some problems like when I'm on a call on speaker, the callers tell me I keep breaking up. I had to buy a portable speaker and use the bluetooth for calls. Also, I do not receive all my msm texts. I went to BB and spoke with Samsung rep who tried helping me, but they could not find the problem and suggested I do a factory reset; hopefully that will resolve things, but I am disappointed that this is brand new phone and the most current one, and I am having problems with most basic functions (texts and calls).

I like the phone but still trying to find my way around as this is an upgrade from an S4. It's comfortable in my hand. I transferred everything over but the whole system is different and it is taking me time to learn it all. Anything I have done or figured out how to do is good. Having trouble getting ring tones to my phone. Overall it's good.

This is my first smart phone and it seems to have been a good choice. My friend has the same phone and loves it, that's why I went with the same model. Only mistake was that with an unlocked phone I can not get Verizon apps which would make using the phone simpler, faster and more efficient.

Good replacement for a galaxy 5. Has easy to use features.

I really did like this phone. But I primarily bought it for Gear VR. For that purpose, it works really well, but did overheat on me a few times. Also, Samsung is pushing out some beta VR apps that only run on S8 (for now), so I returned this phone and got the S8. You can't go wrong with the S7, but if you want the best VR experience, I recommend the S8.

Have had the phone now for about two years and it's done well. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the screen after 5 years has tiny cracks from the edge and some gouges that, while they don't interfere with vision or function or water resistance ..... are irritating to see. Love the fact that it has a real audio jack.

I have decided to buy this one as an upgrade from my old Galaxy S5. It is a major change from my old phone as this one has many latest features and updated new design. Obviously it has faster processor, latest android version and other software enhancements. The battery is non removable and I think this may be an issue for me in the future.

not bad for an older model phone at a reasonable price

I bought the phone primarily for the camera and I must say I am somewhat disappointed. Thought there would be more manual control than there is. However, I am new to both phone and camera so need some time to really explore. Has taken some great pictures in daylight settings. Looking forward to using it more.

I was a little nervous that I wouldn't like this because believe it or not, I loved my Galaxy 3 note so much I didn't want to change. Finally I had no choice,. This hone rocks., Pics are great, video is great, screen is crystal clear when streaming tv or movies. I recommend this phone highly.

I bought this for my granddaughter as that was what she wanted. I bought the S7 rather than the edge as she could grip it better (her bro has the edge). I researched the S8 but went with the S7 as there are some probs with the S8 as its being rolled out. Also better deal for S7

One of great samsung phone ,very fast in data and WiFi services

Overall, this is been a good phone. The voice to text function could definitely be improved. I did have to send it off for repair when the charging port went bad. I have used it on multiple carriers, which is a benefit of the unlocked version I guess. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this phone, and would buy it again.

This is a good phone . It's narrow and shiny and hard to hold. Also my fingers wrapped around to touch edge of screen when held and prevented recognizing my touches to screen icons. - until I bought a rubberized back cover to make it more secure to hold. Now it works great.

The Galaxy S7 blows the S6 out of the water. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Samsung for bringing back the upgradable micro SD & removable battery features back. Bought it 2 weeks prior to the release of the S8 due to catastrophic failure of my S6, but absolutely NO regrets! SAMSUNG FOR LIFE!!!
