My Note 7 was recalled so looked around for the best replacement and settled on the S7 Edge. It has most of the same capabilities that I love about the Note 7 (QHD screen, MicroSD support, Quick Charge 2.0, IP68 water resistant, improved camera, etc.) at a similar size. The Best Buy associate answered a few questions I had about getting an unlocked phone and was very helpful getting me going. I decided on an unlocked phone from Best Buy to run on the Verizon network. I just moved my SIM card from my Note 7 to my S7 Edge and it was instantly on the Verizon network. I have all of the VoLTE support with HD Voice, mobile hotspot and video. I did have to change the network mode to LTE/CDMA from Global to keep the phone on the LTE network instead of 3G network but it works perfectly.

Super fast, nice camera, excellent battery life time

I am a note phone fan, had to buy a phone because my note 4 died :(. Decided to buy an unlocked phone because i will be doing a lot of overseas travel, which means a lot of SIM switching. I t has served me very well, I have had the excellent SAMSUNG experience I have come to expect, together with a speedier phone. It it weren't for the cursor, a win-win.

Excellent replacement coming from S4, this phone is great, being using it over 3 weeks, I was doubtful at first to buy it as it is being used in Telcel Mexico, but this phone works straight out of the box, just put my nano sim, a little bit pricy but it’s worth it. Mine came already with android 7.0 and receive two more updates over the week. Screen colors and view are really good, in sunlight you can almost read the screen but will be usable. It takes very good pictures, I usually take photos at 5.0M but this are very detailed and crisps, videos are very good also. The battery heats up a lot while charging and a little less while gaming but I can get more than a day while surfing the web, gamming, taking photos, once is plugged it charges pretty quick. Not a lot of bloatware and some nice apps as Samsung’s health & pay. Screen and back cover is a finger print magnet, the surfaces and looks are really nice but I recommend the use of a case as it tends to slip out of hand. Over all I’m very pleased with my phone.

This is a great phone. Better processor and camera than the S6. Very easy to use. The unlocked version is where it shines. You don't need a specific carrier and can take it with you if you switch for whatever reason. You also don't get bogged down with all the pre-loaded stuff the others come with.

Easy mode makes use simple by having only few icons on home screen. Love the pictures, as good or better than my Panasonic camera. Large screen makes it easy to read. Unlocked phone does not bind me to a provider for two years in order to get promo credits. Free to move to new provider instantly if not satisfied. Downside, phone is heavier than most.

At first i didn't want to buy this phone because i am not a fan of android phones but after purchasing this and using it for almost a week now, i must say i don't regret buying this product. Very easy to use and looks very sophisticated. I love the wide screen and camera is very nice! takes good quality photos and has nice colors

I got this to replace my Samsung galaxy note 5 because I burned out the battery by overcharging it while using an oem USB charging cable.Anyway Likes: -Silver color looks sick and premium -Screen size is not too bulky but not too small and phone don't feel massive for the real estate you're getting. -Fast charging is highly convenient -Wireless charging I love to not have to worry about scuffing my phone while trying to plug in the cable in the dark and it's much easier to just pick it up. -Screen resolution -Double click home button to open camera is fast! -Recording resolution -Fast processor even faster when developer menu is activated and animations are turned off. -Expandable storage to 200gb. -fingerprint scanner Dislikes -Finger print magnet -Very slippery in the hands without a case because of the edge design. -Edge design I found myself not liking how the screen curved and not ever using the edge for shortcuts,Much prefer the s pen by far. Overall it's an awesome pretty,fast phone packed with alot of useful features if there was a version of the s7 in a 5.5 inch without the edges and in platinum silver I would love the phone so much more.

At first I was unsure whether It was worth the upgrade from my s6 edge to this s7 edge, but I'm glad I did! If you are in the same situation as I was, I highly recommend the upgrade as this phone has expandable memory, is waterproof and best of all has a much better battery life than the previous model did. If you have the funds, definately go for it. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that Samsung removed the IR blaster in this model which I used to use a lot, but you win some and you loose some.

S7 edge is S7 edge. Nothing has quite the edge. This is my third S7 Edge after my original purchase for my wife and me when it was originally launched. My first S7 Edge was stolen and not recovered yet. (Any information would help!! :-) ) Purchase: Brand new, factory packed and unlocked. It was lower than a phone from any service provider. And Verizon was not interested in dealing with me. Big hassle with them. I went to my favorite Bestbuy store and purchased this. Robert was an amazing sales person and suggested me this unlocked phone for my budget and choice. The only drawback is: I found out that certain Verizon features won't work properly, most important of them being VoiceMail. In-built Verizon locked phones have a software package on them that allows Voicemail dialing, recording/ retrieval, and Visual VoiceMail. When I activated my phone on Verizon, I did not realize that.

It's the flagship of Samsung in 2016, but still excellent in 2017. Pros: 1. Comparing to its predecessor S8, S7 edge has a better position of fingerprint reader, almost the same performance of hardware. 2. The curved edges are beautiful. 3. Wireless charging is super handy. 4. The unlocked version has no bloatware at all, only the essential apps from Google and Samsung. 5. It supports big four carriers, so I bought it for use with Sprint's free 1 year service. 6. Battery life is awesome. It can last a whole day with heavy use. Cons: 1. It's edgeless so it's hard to hold and operate with one hand. But this can be fixed with a case. 2. Software update is a headache. Don't expect Samsung will release software update as frequently as Google.

This is the 2nd S7 Edge I've owned, as the 1st one was dropped and cracked the screen. I loved the functionality so much, I bought it again. Camera is great and even iPhone users like my photos. Great display and battery life gets me through the day without any stress.

I bought the unlocked phone to get away from the being tied to a phone company. I have 5 lines on AT&T and am moving them all to Cricket.. With the savings on Cricke,t the price of this phone will be paid for in 8 month! Of Course the Phone is top notch. Would be 5 stars if not for the Bloatware.

This phone is a replacement for my old S5, and what an upgrade it is. Fast, wireless charging, great camera this phone seems to have it all. Personally the only thing it doesn't have that I would like to see is a removable battery.

Switched from an AT&T specific model to the unlocked version. Am happier with the unlocked version, as it resolves some tethering issues I was having, plus much less bloatware. Phone has great battery life, screen, speed, and features.

This camera is insane. It does alot more than the Samsung s5. It's really super fast too. The keyboard is like the one on the iPhone. The camera takes really good photos & there's a way to set it so that you can take "RAW" photos too.

This is amazing phone, camera is much better then any standalone point and shoot camera. Does very well specially in low light condition. It is 1 year now, battery still holds good atleast for a day with full usage.

Why pay $700 for an S8 when you can get an unlocked S7 Edge for less than $500. Comparable performance
