I've carried Samsung Galaxy phones since the GS3. Each generation is an improvement over the next and this is no exception. This is arguably the best Android phone on the market. It's gorgeous, fast and intuitive. Obviously the screen is the star here but nothing under the hood should be overlooked. The only things keeping it from being perfect is one, the ability to remap the Bixby button without using third-party apps and two, integrating the fingerprint scanner into the screen. The placement of the scanner is not the best but finding it is not difficult especially if you have a decent case. Using the edge of the case as a guide easily orients your finger where it needs to be without touching the camera lens. Even if you are touching the lens, fingerprints are no problem because it repels them pretty well. It's a shame Samsung didn't have the time to integrate the scanner into the screen because they do in fact have the technology to do it. Perhaps the next gen will. Regardless, this phone is worth the upgrade, even if you upgrade like myself from the GS6 Edge. By the way, spring for the Plus model, the battery life alone makes it worth it.

The S8 plus is everything I thought it would be plus more. It is a great size, large but not too big and the screen and edge technology is beautiful. It is quick and performs a lot better than my old phone.

This was an upgrade from an S5. I wasn't sure if I should get this phone or the Google Pixel 2. After doing a lot of research I decided on this phone and I'm glad I did. I haven't experienced any of the problems like in several of the reviews. I would recommend getting a case for the phone because I can see the curved edge of the screen getting busted during a fall. The fingerprint reader works great. The camera takes good pictures. So far I have no complaints with the phone.

I am a basic smart phone user, but I hadn't upgraded in a while. Now that these top of the line models started to go on sale, I took the plunge. Great battery, great screen, great camera, fast processor. No complaints so far. I even like the placement of the finger print reader that many complain about. I was worried the S8+ might have been too big, but it is only slightly larger than the regular S8, with a longer battery to boot.

Love this phone! It's amazing! So good looking and feels great in the hand. The finger print sensor isn't as big of an issue as many have said and I have small hands. It's easy to use and I can have the phone unlocked before its out of my pocket. It's buttery smooth and samsung did a great job with their touchwiz. Overall I am super happy. Even battery life is great. I'm a moderate user and I get about a day and a half on this beast.

The display is the best part of this device! It looks extremely crisp, and colorful. In addition to the display, battery life is great, and the phones performance is very fast.

I've been using the Galaxy 8+ now for about a week and continue to be pleased with it's camera, battery life (about 12 hours mobile), speed and operating simplicity. I upgraded from the Galaxy 5 so the transition has been very smooth in learning my way about the new phone. Reception is about as good as the Galaxy 5 (which was very good) and it saves all your WiFi and Bluetooth log-in's for easy connecting...it's a keeper!

First,,,I'm a heavy phone user... the battery will last a loooong time. 6am to 8pm still have about 30% battery left. Very smooth, excellent graphics and screen, 64GB is more than adequate, easy to hold one handed. If anything negative would be the native keyboard swipe function which needs adjustment or improvement and Bixby...which til now it's useless. Good thing Google Assistant is built in also.

I love the large screen. It is fast and responsive. The curve adds a nice touch to the look of it. It is very thin and easily slides in and out of my pocket.

Love this phone. Easy to use and has a great camera. Plenty of storage for me. The only thing I don't like is Bixby. Not sure why it even exists!

These are the features that make things easier and me happier. Unlocking screen: You can choose to have the screen remain unlocked when in your car if you have Bluetooth connected. You can choose the same based on locations you enter such as your home. When you do need to unlock elsewhere, the iris scanner works great most of the time. I don't have to take off my glasses for it to work...awesome. The fingerprint scanner is in an awkward spot so I don't use that often. The battery: It has a long life with regular use. I'm not sure about the total length of standby because I don't let it stand by that long. It charges so much faster than my previous Galaxy. Storage: The 64Gb of internal storage makes a Huge difference. I've always used SD cards but the phone would still max out and slow down. I haven't had a need to put the card in this phone yet. I've downloaded a lot of things so far. Other: The camera does all it claims and has fun features that I don't have time to get into. I Love the Edge menu. It makes getting to your most needed things so much easier. Split screen has come in handy and works with the screen size. Great for watching video. Love that it will remind me to take breaks when I'm at work. Those are my faves. I'm very happy with it so far. I'll update later if necessary.

I love this phone! It is easy to use and takes great pictures. The screen is big enough for viewing and the phone can easily fit in a pocket.

This phone is fast and very responsive. Battery life is amazing and features quick charge and wireless charging. Camera is superb.

Previously I had a Note 2 which had a great battery life. I then purchased a Note 4 and it was terrible. Usually only made it to around 5 PM before shutting down. I almost left Samsung products over this. After reading reviews, I took a chance on the S8+ knowing I could return it in 14 days if the battery life wasn't good. Turns out to be fantastic. I always have more than 50% at the end of the day. Screen and features are great on this model also. It is slick and recommend a case.

I bought this new Samsung S8+ on the same day as my prior S5 Samsung three years ago from Best Buy! First off another great deal from BB was my main reason to return. It also included again the top quality customer service, sales staff knowledge of the product and quick processing and I was out the door. This phone is just GREAT love my Samsung S8+ Android, super fast, and the battery life between charges is 75% longer. Every day is a new experience of how good this phone is!

Phone operation for the most part, is lightning fast. I don't like Bixby much, but I think it has potential. Love the better use of the Always On display. Overall, a great phone though. Upgraded to the S8+ after having used the S7 for the past year 15 months. I like the S8+'s tall, thin form, making the large device fit in your hand more comfortably. The screen looks great, although not all apps scale to the larger screen (at least not yet). Mine came with a bonus free wireless charger from BB, and it charges just as fast as the USB Type C plug in. The S8+ has the premium feel you expect when paying almost $900.00 for a mobile device. I love this phone, its just a shame that I feel like I have to put the thing into a case or risk instant death upon a drop. Time will tell, but I paired mine with an Otterbox Commuter case, and I love it. It doesn't double to size of the device like many other cases. I have had one quirk pop up a few times, where the fingerprint scanner doesn't work. A restart of the phone usually corrects the matter, and I am sure it will be addressed throught a firmware update. Summary: I love the S8+. I am a power user, and easily get a full 18 hours on a single charge. It is a flagship android device through and through.

Was a little on the fence with this since I had a very bad experience with Samsung 6 years ago.. that being said, this phone is by far the best I've ever owned. I think the finger print sensor location issue is way over blown, It's easy to locate, plus if you are like most people, you'll have it in a case and the cutout in the case will act as a natural guide for your finger without smudging the camera lense. Think about all the reviews you read/watched, did you ever see a single one of them put the phone in a case? I read a few articles stating that iris detection is slow (upto 8 seconds), not for me. With or without glasses it's instant. I have always been an android "purist" and never liked phone vendor re-skinning on the user interface, but I must say that in the S8 it provides a far better experience than native android. I was not expecting this and am pleasantly surprised. Performance is through the roof! I am not talking about empirical measurements with bar graphs and comparisons to other phones, just what it feels like. "Browser Jitter" is gone, and interestingly, WiFi download speed is much faster than my last 2 phones, and they were high end phones..... Can't comment on battery life, too soon to tell, but preliminary indications look good.

Great phone with great camera. Battery holds a charge for almost 24 hours. I came back to the galaxy after a terrible experience with a droid turbo. Not thrilled that the charger has a different attachment than most phones, but I'll deal with that. Takes the phone less than an hour to fully charge. Charge before bed and in the morning it's at 87%full and lasts the entire day. I would definitely recommend Samsung over Any other phone brands
