The phone is pretty fast due to flagship spces. UI is good (not as good as some other custom UI in the market) but somethings are good. Battery life is decent and lasts the day with moderate usage. But I wish the battery could have been a little better but the fast charging compensates for it. The biggest downside is the fingerprint scanner at the back. Front fingerprint scanners are better in my opinion. It's a good phone if bought on a discount but not worth at full price.

I updated from a galaxy s5 and so glad I did. Camera is better with so many great functions.

I used iphone for several years and liked it. But I was not happy with iTunes software and over restriveness that come along with iPhone as add-on. I am happy switching from iOS to Android OS. Samsung Galaxy is a great phone. I took away one star because Samsung galaxy S8 screen is not as strong as I expected from gorilla glass. Corners and edges of phone started showing scratches in 3 weeks. I am a very careful user of phone still scrateches on screen disappointed me a little. In general I happy with Samsung Galaxy s8. It comes with great features I never saw on iOS devices

Had the phone for 2 week and it going great so far!! LOVE THE camera. The pictures come out great! Here's to more months with the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Don't even use the Bixby feature, it's annoying. The 8 is different from the previous models and the charger cord from older models will not fit in the new model.

We used his phone camera during our trip to Scotland and the pics are beautiful

As with all phones you must try them for the physical feel, size, once you get past identifying the intended application. The was purchased as a gift for a tween (first phone). So I didn't want the latest model, but something we were already familiar with. Samsung's quality/standards met all of our needs. She currently uses it for help with school.
