Has a beautiful screen display and is fast with the 4GB of RAM with more than one application running. I use Google Maps for navigating instead of my Garmin GPS unit while driving with this phone. It's nice having a flash which the Alcatel did not have.

A Stellar Phone, or not, If...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I saw this UNLOCKED phone on sale for $100 less thatn the Verizon one, I asked him if it would do everything the Verizon one would do. Yes. so I bought it. Well, No. It doesn't do Visual Voicemail. aka, there's no voicemail ap. You have to hold down the 1 key and listen to an elongated voice driven menu. Further, there's no notification that you actually have a voicemail. Further, I'm a multi-line account holder and since it's unlocked, Verizon (I can't speak for the other carriers) won't send security verification texts to me. I spent hours online, on the phone and then in the Verizon store trying to get past this last weekend. Fortunately, Best Buy waived the $35 restocking fee when I turned it in for my carrier specific version of the same phone which I might ad is stellar! If modern voicemail features and account security issues are important to you, save yourself the time, not the money, and get the carrier specific version.
