Just have to say, I am a Grandfathered UDP subscriber on Verizon. I have needed to upgrade for sometime and know that all Verizon phones check for subscription (on data). If you purchase and unlocked S8 it does not do the provision check. YAY. I will say, though, the battery seems a bit shoddy. With normal use the 100% charge is around 40% after 12 hours. It charges super fast though.

I purchased the galaxy s8 unlocked on 7/25/15 and I love this phone....l hate that my gmail notifications doesn't show but I used the email setting on the phone and get all my gmail that way and still use the gmail...i can live with that. I love all the cool free themes. The samsung pay app is awesome.......i could go on and on.....because there's just so much to love about this phone.

I love this phone. This is my first Android phone as I always had iPhones in the past but with this phone I am glad I took the plunge. The size is perfect- the phone is a little bigger than my iPhone 6s but the beautiful curved screen is SO much bigger and better!

Upgrading from a DROID Turbo. Only regret I've had with the S8 is that I wish I'd bought it on the day it came out. Fingerprint reader is hard to find at first, but you quickly start forming muscle memory. Using iris recognition makes unlocking almost instant!

Great phone, superb battery life. A must buy phone if you're an android user.

This phone stood up for its reviews.Looks cool in all aspects except the rear finger sensor which is bit annoying. But rest of the feature are outstanding. Experience with Best Buy was good as usual with availability of products at demo, hassle free price guarantee

I must admit I hung on to my Samsung S5 way too long, it worked fine, but at a slow pace. S8 is light years faster and more convenient to use i.e. fingerprint reader. Con: this model does not support Wi-Fi calling (there are apps that do so). It a bit slower to charge with the standard charger plug compare to my S5. Running Android 7.0 and just waiting for 8.0 Oreo update

I needed a new phone because of a network change and bit the bullet and got the s8...love the phone. Had a s3 before and liked that phone as well. Live the larger memory and the removable memory card is back...which was an issue with the s6 in my opinion

Upgraded from a Galaxy S6 and wanted to make sure I had a phone I could use internationally on other country's networks. I love that the S8 is taller and slimmer than my S6 was which makes it seem less bulky. Setup was easy and very simple to get up and running!

My Galaxy S5 ran out of storage and had to be replaced. So far I have been very pleased with the Galaxy S8. I only have it for about three weeks so am still learning how to navigate. The camera is awesome and I am so delighted to have extra storage.

I love my new phone. It is so versatile and helpful. I used to wonder why people stare at their phones, I am afraid I have become one of them. So many helpful features. My phone is very smart. I don't know why I waited so long to upgrade.

Bought this phone at Best Buy - really like the phone, however, because it was an unlocked phone, it took 4 trips to Best Buy and talking to the Samsung store rep, before Samsung would even acknowledge that this phone existed in the United States. Still have been unable to sign up for the Samsung premium care. The insurance Best Buy offers won't cover the unlocked phone either.

After trying to decide which phone to buy, we finally gave up our ancient flip phones for the Galaxy 8S. I'm not using any of the fancy features yet, but am working on it. The sound quality and ease of use are great. The Best Buy salesperson was very helpful
