Bought this just before S9 was released and worth every penny- comparinf to S9 there is not much difference and a great universal unlocked phone. Fast charging and great camera and curved edge- really great looking phone,

It has all I need, the camera is excelent, the speed is amazing

The screen looks amazing, the battery life is long (so far), the camera's decent, and it's fast. It has better mobile connection as well, since I was able to get signal sitting in a cabin while others with older phones did not.

Its a good price and great quality! Easy to hold and simple.

Bought this phone for family in Ireland and saved them about $200 by getting it on sale. It was a much better deal than they could get there. Once they got it and plugged in a SIM card from Ireland, it worked perfectly. They needed a simple adaptor for the charger, but everything was easy and worked great. They are very happy with it,

I finally upgraded my poor old Galaxy S5 that has been through the wringer. Once I saw that Best Buy was selling unlocked phones, I waited until one I was interested in got near my budget. I'm very happy I waited for the S8. It is light years faster than the S5 and holds a charge longer. The screen is also night and day in terms of quality. It was also so much nicer having the control to remove apps I didn't want instead of dealing with carrier bloatware. Best Buy even put in my old sim card to make sure my number carried over and there were no issues. Completely seamless. I did go with Geek Squad coverage for a month to make sure I didn't smash my new phone right away. Very happy with the whole deal and the price.

Overall a good phone, but the volume is far too low during calls, and there is no way to remedy that. Even Samsung admits it's an issue. You have to use speaker to hear the other person most of the time. Otherwise, the phone is okay. The camera is great and it has a nice screen size. It charges pretty fast so far, but with this brand, I'm waiting to see if the battery becomes an issue. I'm not sure you can open it and replace the battery. A little disappointed, but it'll do.

This is the BEST phone I have ever used. The interface is very clean. The display is large. My favorite feature is the camera. Who needs to buy digital cameras anymore when this will take care of it all? My only gripe is the Samsung software, which we can't get rid of. For an android phone, though, I can't think of anything better

Been about a month now, battery life is great phone functions flawlessly disregarding a few hiccups here and there most likely due to the google android software updates which are always fixing one thing like noise issues in camera app to call quality issues in phone app. Make sure you get a case, dropped twice thanks to commuter case there are no damages other then my heart dropping in slow motion . Enjoy a great device at an awesome price compared to Apple's thousand dollar iphone

I love my Samsung Galaxy S8. The phone is speedy with tasks, looks sleek with its curved edges, has GREAT battery life (if you set it to the mid level of battery saving, it can be on stand-by for two to three days!). My two dislike about the phone are that it has a built in battery like the iPhone, so you can't change it when the battery will eventually die and the PRICE. How come a phone can cost the same as a laptop computer? Granted we do most of our online tasks on mobile devices now, but $800?? I think someone needs to rethink the pricing of phones.

I'll put 5 stars to this phone, since the specs are basically the same as the bigger one, except that at the first fall from my pocket now it's has a lot of scratch in a black phone doesn't look so nice, and the screen also has a small scratch, so you will have to spend more money on a case, on the other hand my Pixel doesn't have any scratches and this one had many falls in the hands of a toddler with no case. Other than that is a great phone at an excellent price.

This is a great phone for taking photos and because of its SD Card capability, it's perfect for storing music.

I was upgrading from the s5 and was not disappointed. It's a complete upgrade but the things that have really stood out have been the awesome battery life and the amazing screen. The one worry that I originally had would be that the glass would be fragile, but it has survived multiple drops with only a small case so far.

The phone is very good. It has nice camera and snapdragon processor(835). Best in industry. Only issue is worng placement of finger print sensor. Is is almost unusable. By buying from bestbuy, it is ensured that we get Qualcomm chip, which leads to good performance in case of low signal too. Happy about purchase.

I bought this phone to see if it can make me move away from iPhone, and I am so happy to have made the decision to move. The S8 has great screen, good battery life and very nice size (fits well in my pocket and hand). I would strongly recommend this phone to anyone who is on the fence for moving away from iPhone.

Pros: Beautiful screen Coral Blue back panel Camera takes great pictures Really fast and responsive Water resistant Earphones are pretty good. Cons: When I opened up the package brand new from best buy, the front screen protector was somewhat misplaced and it had some smudges. But no visible fingerprints, or scratches of any sort. Thank god. But everything else was brand new in original packaging.

Another great phone put out by Samsung. Easy to use with plenty of features new and old. Anything new it walks you through step by step if needed. Or just ask Bixby and it will help you out. Screen is bright and sharp. Processing power is fast. Plenty of space and expandable memory. Can't ask for much more

Finally made the jump away from the oppressive Empire that is Apple. If you're the type of person who likes to personalize everything you own, this is the phone for you. And as a bonus, since this phone is unlocked, you are not tied to any Carrier. Just swapped out my SIM card and it was ready to go.
