Despite initially deciding to skip the Galaxy S8 generation, I ended up getting the Blue Coral GS8+ and I'm loving it! I hesitated because I was using the Galaxy S7 Edge on the 935U Unlocked firmware and it was doing everything I needed it to do without any issues. Battery life was great, it was fast & smooth, the cameras were excellent and reliable, and I had read that the GS8 wasn't a huge upgrade in terms of SOC, screen, camera, and battery life. Although it is true that the change in the design language of the Galaxy S family is the only major change when going from a GS7E to a GS8, I still like the phone very much. I like the new design direction with the Infinity Display, upgraded front camera sensor, slightly improved rear camera, larger 64GB base storage, and comparable battery life to the GS7E. Samsung's UI is getting better and better with every generation and I have no issues with the software. Despite having used Nexus phones for years, I prefer Samsung's UI over Google's spartan "stock Android." I still use and appreciate the phone's IP68 water resistance, Samsung Pay, and the great synergy with my Gear S3 Classic smartwatch. And I'm so happy that Samsung introduced Coral Blue for their Unlocked models as well. If they hadn't, I probably would not have bought a GS8. Because this is the Galaxy S flagship of the year, there are no shortages of great cases and accessories to be found. I've already purchased four cases, a TGSP, some USB-A to USB-C adapters, and a power bank. All in all, this is a great phone with a good balance of everything. Fast & latest-tech SOC (Snapdragon 835), quick-focusing and reliably good cameras, premium-look design with premium in-hand feel, good battery life, and nifty additions such as Samsung Pay, Gear VR, fast wired & wireless charging, and IP68 water resistance. I highly recommend the Galaxy S8+.

Work great takes a while to get use to some of the features on phone I got the plus I find it easier to hold and handle. The battery life on this phone is the best compared to other smart phones I've had in the past just great but you will love it just not to many choices for screen protectors but the phone itself is great. Lightning fast, tons of storage, and glass/metal all over. Unlocked for practically any US carrier, so you can even do prepaid if you spent all your money on the phone itself. The finger print scanner is in an usual spot, but once you use the phone for more than 20 minutes, it's not an issue at all, and combined with swipe to view notifications, the extra tall screen is very easy to handle. Great phone with a great battery, it's a great phone all over!

Excellent build quality. With the protective case on is still quite sleek and pocketable. Snappy performance- This latest version of Samsung's "Touchwiz" is very customizable, and key features and adjustments (there are a lot of them) are easily accessible. The print, retina, and face recognition are generally effective, though I prefer the print reader. I found a case, inexpensive and well made, available in several colors, (MikkI-see picture) with partions between the three elements, which makes locating the reader very simple without smudging the camera lens. The wireless charging works great .. and not to forget the camera..it takes extremely nice pictures and video. Somewhat pricey, but with it's feature set, should be a long term investment as phones go, and would highly recommend.

Got the phone during Thanksgiving from BestBuy online at a great price. Delivered early by Best Buy. Great design and options by Samsung. Good support from Samsung+. Selective focus option of camera is sometimes weird, but PRO option helps taking professional type of pictures. I have been using since 1 month, battery lasts more than a day for me.

Big screen with a nice body side! Camera is awesome. Fantastic design! There is a some issue however, the screen is hard read under the sun and the phone hot very fast in the same time.

This is the best investment I have ever done. Kyeesha had assist me in getting this phone and telling me about it so I had to pre order it. This phone is the best phone I had coming from the Galaxy note series I wanted to give this a try and after giving this a try I am very impress at Samsung new design of this phone and the features are so great on this phone. Coming from a iPhone, then another samsung phone that had ads in the lock screen, then to this one, and it takes the cake for best phone ever. I love the camera, love the Samsung health app, it's getting me out walking and actually working out. Best phone there! I just took this awesome photo of a waterfall.

I was considering buying an iPhone like my husband and stepson, but the salesman discussed the options and recommended this phone. I love it! Samsung made it extremely easy to transfer all my data and apps with just a cable. The camers is divine with some new functions, the phone is fast, and it's extremely comfortable.

My new Samsung Galaxy 8 plus is the best phone I ever own and one of the best thing was, came unlocked, so I can to back to my country and enjoy my phone the same way I am enjoying here. I am very happy with my purchase!

The Android Galaxy S8+ sets the standard for all phones!! The camera is by far much better than any IPhone ever made, the phone fits perfectly in the palm of my hand and don't forget the infinity screen...wow!!

So I have had my Galaxy S5 for the last 3 years and was starting to have issues. I knew I wanted to get an S8 or S8+ but watching the price. Well week of Fathersday they took $100 off the price on the Unlocked phone so was time to get one. There is a few things I liked about my old phone but the new phone has everything I need and the "Transfer" adapter and app on this phone worked perfect . Only complaint is I hate that I have different power plug now since EVERYTHING else my family has (including the power-pak we use for hiking) is Micro-USB not USB-C. so have to either carry the little adapter OR extra cable so I can charge my device

The Galaxy S8 plus has been a great phone for me. It's super fast, has great connectivity power, and the whole screen to body ratio is just mindblowing.

I like camera , gives me a good view ,I am trying to learn how to send text messages , and pictures that is a little hard for me over all the S8+ is a good phone would buy another one.

This phone is absolutely beautiful to hold and it has a sleek, 'new-car' feeling! As a cultural travel photographer, I use my camera equipments frequently and yet I would often find myself leaning on my mobile to capture what inspires and moves me - and what captivated me is the way that S8+ delivers beautiful shots! With minimal processing and filter the phone develops stunning colors and layers of the fades, exceeding even my professional camera's low-light capabilities! Quite IMPRESSED!! In addition, there are some new photo functions (swipe left in ‘Camera’). I love that as an inner (or Yelp) ‘Foodies’, I have my very own food filter to snap as many lunch or dinners as I pleased! Use the 'Pro' function and I am Wow'd with the filter package it comes with! Over all the functionality is similarly comparable across the Galaxy phones (4/7edge) with exception to few obvious changes to the phone. In the quest for the slick, they opted to take away the 'Home' button, which my fingers - as well as other iPhone/Galaxy users - have gotten subconsciously programmed to press, only to find that there are no buttons. I would need to 'swipe up' from the bottom of the screen and a virtual 'Home’ button, 'back' function and 'multi-window' interface becomes accessible. This phone has a Samsung Note8-esque interface (not to mention, the screen size difference between those two is just 0.1 inch!). So outside of the Stylus, S8+ promises to be just as versatile in its use! One other function they did away with - because of the ‘Home’ button change - I need the Volume down+Power button to take a screenshot to squeeze with my thumb and middle finger. Pretty easy! The 3500mAh Battery holds well through the day (I use it heavily and I only seem to be down to about 35% by dinner time) and the only thing that seems to 'overheat' the product and/or shorten the battery life is when I am using it with VR. Getting an unlocked phone will give me the freedom to choose mobile network not just in the US but Internationally - which is great as I travel - it sure beats carrying around multi handsets! As an unlocked phone, this Samsung S8+ has both CDMA and GSM capabilities. I went with a CDMA network, and the company blocked my ‘Talk and Surf’ (perks of being on a GSM network). On the bright side, CDMA does seem to preserve the battery life better so it’s a toss up!

It's a great phone. It was great experience buying a phone from best buy. Even I have get best deal for my phone. I am very happy.
