Great smartphone, good battery life, screen and camera. I do recommend a case.

I had an old HTC and was long overdue for an upgrade. I spent months researching Android phones that would be reasonably priced and offered great options. I really did not want to spend more than $300 for a phone but I bought this on sale for $150 less than the regular retail price. I got everything I wanted and more. This is so comparable to an iPhone and even better in some regards and not as pricey as an iPhone. I've dropped it a few times and no cracked screen thanks to the Gorilla glass. Cameras are great, has plenty of space (kept running out of space on my old phone), and very intuitive to use. Don't waste your money on an iPhone. You get so much more with this phone for less money!

This device has all the bells and whistles expected out of a flagship phone. In addition, the bezels are so tiny and it causes the phone meld into even smaller hands. The display is something I can't talk enough about. You should see it to believe it. I just love it. Camera too is great with great dynamic range and spot on fast focus. It's a overall great package. Highly recommend!!

The phone is phenomenal and takes great pics. It's the best looking phone out there now by far. I purchased this s8 plus unlocked leaving me the flexibility to choose the carrier who provides the best service. You cannot go wrong getting this baby.

I decided to update to the Unlocked Galaxy S8 Plus because of the amazing screen, price and the ability to switch carriers whenever I choose to do so. Screen: This is hands down the best screen ever placed into a cell phone. The colors are vibrant and the screen itself is big. Coming from a Note 5, you can definitely notice the difference. Overall: I managed to get an awesome deal by purchasing a open box version of this phone. The phone itself was in "like new condition" like it was stated and included all the accessories and packaging. This is the first smartphone I've actually payed full price for out of pocket and that should say something in itself. GO BUY IT!

I finally ditched my old Note 4 and upgraded to this Samsung 8+ unlocked. I was having to charge my Note 4, 2-3 times a day even with a new battery. I got this phone and even after heavy use, video, texting, pictures, web browsing this phone battery lasts! Even after 12-13 hours it still has 65% battery left. Couldn't be happier about that. The Bixby button is kind of annoying at times and the reason for 4 stars. When i pull it out of my case sometimes it turns it on. Overall I love this phone, Its bright, responsive and does every thing I need to with out lag.

I bought the Galaxy S8+ to replace my Galaxy S4 and I'm really loving this phone. Takes great video and pictures, the playback video is HD in quality and has every feature I could ever need. This phone does almost everything and if it could give me a massage it could do everything possible!! LOL. I also love that it's unlocked so I don't have a bunch of preloaded apps taking up memory and processing speed that Samsung puts on their locked phones. Lastly the battery life is SO MUCH BETTER then the S4. I had both on and fully charged to test the battery life and when the S4 showed it had used 50% of it's battery charge, the S8+ showed that less then 20% of its battery had been used in the same time frame and no difference in phn usage during my test. Great Phn and a definite buy IMHO.. Thanks.. :)

It is a beautiful phone with a great screen. As this is my first phone of this sort, it is taking me some time to get my thumbs working. I bought the phone unlocked and on sale. I wanted to use Consumer Cellular. The major carriers have this scheme were you pay every month to lease the phone and then at the end of two years buy it at the rest of the price, or start over and lease another. I consider this to be a bad deal. With Consumer Cellular, the difference in price from my old plan pays for the unlocked phone in two years. OK, back to the phone. It is easy to use, once you get used to it, so I say for newcomers to smart phones, get advice on the net. It is large-ish, so it doesn't fit as well in my pocket as the old flip phone. I bought a holster to go with it, also at Best Buy.

This is really a great phone. I have been a Samsung user for sometime, but this is my first experience with purchasing an unlocked phone. Because it was not branded by a specific carrier, there was some extra (but straightforward) set up required. Once that was done, it was smooth sailing. Doubt that I will ever buy a carrier specific phone again.

I bought unlocked version, i love this phone design and speed.

Well she loves the phone, it kicks her 6 Edge+ in the butt. Better life on the battery, less call drops and camera is something she loves.

Despite all the videos online that show it surviving hammers hitting the screen, the phone will still chip and crack when dropped. Bixby button is annoying and still cannot be remapped unless rooted. Camera and screen are second to none. This review is completely trivial, find a real tech site if you're looking for something in-depth.

Very happy with this purchase. This phone is amazing and is easy to use, elegant, thin and lightweight. I was also pleased to find on it a variety of health features like tracking how nanny steps I took, sleep, oxygen and heart rate. I'm learning something new everyday about this phone. Get one! You won't be disappointed.

Great picture, features,speed and battery life. I think i have used about 30% of what it has to offer so i am still learning. bought this to replace my 3 year old S6. a bit concerned about the size of it but adjusted after less than a week. Not a big fan of the fingerprint scanner though. I recommend it heartily
