Do not buy this if you have an iPhone. The set up was simple but the only downside to this is that the factory battery didn’t last long. I had to replaced all of them. This is also not water proof, spill yes but not submerge for a long time. It’s a good product to track your items.

Dog tracker tag

I can still track my dog with it being battery saving mode. I cant turn off the random beeping.

I read that the battery keeps working for years, but in my case it was necessary to replace after few months, and after the replacement the tags just lost connection with my cell phone, it was necessary to start everything from ground zero, so it was not really just a battery replacement, but a exercise of patience.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The Galaxy SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag2 last transmitted its signal. My kid is constantly losing her phone, my wife loses her keys and the dogs run off! These bad boys come in handy and the battery lasts LITERALLY YEARS.
