Was easy to connect to my phone These smart tracking tags are quite interesting, and I do appreciate the very precise location tracking they offer. It's certainly a helpful feature when trying to find misplaced items. However, I must admit the price point is a little on the higher side, which might be a consideration for some. Despite the cost, the accuracy of the precise locate function is a definite plus. Overall, a well-functioning product with a premium price.

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag on BestBuy, and I couldn't be happier with it! It arrived quickly, and the setup was incredibly straightforward - I was able to get it working in minutes. The accuracy of this tag is truly impressive; it pinpoints locations with ease and has already saved me a few panicked searches for my keys! I also love the added functionality - the button feature fantastic and lets me control other devices seamlessly. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to keep track of valuables or add some extra smart features to their home

The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a competent tracker that gets the job done for Galaxy phone owners. Its updated design with a large keyring loop is a practical improvement, and the ability to track your items through the extensive SmartThings Find network is reliable, especially in more populated areas. The long battery life is also a plus, with up to 500 days of use, or even longer in power-saving mode. Setting it up is a simple, straightforward process within the SmartThings app, and it can even help you find your phone with a press of a button. However, its biggest limitation is its exclusive compatibility with Samsung Galaxy devices, making it a non-starter for anyone with a different Android phone or an iPhone.

Super simple to set up and performed flawlessly! I put it to the test to track my car in a multilevel parking garage and it was able to find my car in easily.

I bought this so I could track my luggage when I am traveling and have seen amazing results.
When security "lost my stuff" I was really scared till I remembered I put 3 trackers in my luggage
I looked at the "smartfind" app on my phone and I saw they were just in the airport.
As I looked at them with a smug face all I could think about is "Im so glad I bought the trackers" as it would have been horrible losing all my belongings to tsa cause they want a pc for free.
it intergrated with my phone really well as it found my luggage less than a minute and made a loud ringer sound as they "found" my things. If you are worried about anything getting stolen, buy this tracker.
Its better damage proof, than to damage control.

I have been looking for a tracker tag for my work keys for quite some time, and this product has been perfect. It's very convenient, and there's a setting that alerts you if the tracker has been left behind - sonething I dont get with my Tile device. And as a Samsung user, the set up was very easy and quick. All around happy - plus i hade a $10 certificate as a BestBuy cardholder and spent even less than I was anticipating to spend!

Setup is easy — if you have a Samsung phone, it connects instantly through SmartThings. The tracking is accurate, and the new design feels much more durable than the first version. I love that it’s IP67 water and dust resistant, so I don’t worry about rain or drops. Samsung claims up to 500+ days. The sound it plays is loud enough to find even when it’s buried in a couch or backpack. Only note: it’s only compatible with Samsung Galaxy phones, so not great if you use other Androids or iPhones. Bottom line: If you're in the Samsung ecosystem, this is a no-brainer.

Samsung really refined the Galaxy SmartTag2, and it shows. The new design feels more durable and easier to attach to bags, keys, luggage, anything you don’t want to lose. The IP67 water‑ and dust‑resistance adds real peace of mind, especially if you’re using these outdoors or during travel.
Setup with SmartThings Find is quick, and the tracking experience is smooth and intuitive. Search Nearby with Compass View is surprisingly accurate; it guides you right to your item instead of leaving you guessing. If something is tucked under a couch or buried in a backpack, the audible ring makes it easy to pinpoint.
Battery life is one of the standout features. Up to 500 days on a single cell is impressive, and Power Saving Mode stretches that even further. It’s the kind of tracker you can attach and forget about until you actually need it.
Lost Mode is another thoughtful addition. If someone finds your item, the NFC tap displays your contact info on their phone, even if they’re not using a Samsung device. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference in real‑world recovery.
Getting four tags in the box makes this a great value, especially if you’re tagging multiple essentials. Overall, the SmartTag2 is a reliable, well‑designed tracker that fits seamlessly into the Samsung ecosystem and genuinely helps you keep track of the things that matter.

This is a good product but there's certain things that you should consider before buying.
- If you don't own a Samsung phone, it will be difficult to pair it but not impossible.
- To make use of UWB to find it in a range of 200 to 387 ft, you should have a Galaxy s plus or ultra.
- The way it works is through Bluetooth for short range, UWB for medium range and Samsung Smart devices for long range.
- To localize the device in a long range, the Samsung Smart device should have smarthings feature and should be enabled.
- For long range, on your phone, you have to enable the "find my device" feature otherwise it won't work automatically.
- "High" volume setting is not too loud, making it almost unaudible if stored in the bottom of a bag with things that can cover it.
- It doesn't have an integrated GPS or using any carrier network.

I was skeptical because most people have an apple so I thought it would have a hard time pinging its location. IM SOO GLAD I PURCHASED THESE BEFORE A BIG TRIP!!! Was flying accross the country and and as american airlines does, they overbooked and i didnt get on my flight. I didnt make it on the plane but my luggage did and ended up flying without me. If it wasn't for this tracker my luggage wouldve been lost!!!!

*I* typically do not "lose" things, but I use these for peace of mind in finding important items that may get lost for me. Luggage in airports, packages I ship to loved ones, or even sharing the tag with family members so they can see my locations for safety while I am traveling.

First time use. We placed them in our luggage while flying in our travels, and could verify that our luggage did actually make it and followed us onto the correct plane.
If it had gone a great distance I am not sure if it would have been out of range or not.
