easy to operate nice for the person on a limited budget

To be honest, I only purchased the Tab 4 because I was sick and tired of watching movies/shows/etc. on my Note 4 and having it drain my battery. I just needed an Android based tablet and I trusted the Samsung brand. In the beginning, the screen quality pales in comparison to the Note 4 (and my iOS devices) but after a while you do get used to it. Plus, it's still better than a lot of other Android based tablets. Other than that, my only other issue would be the battery life. It dies after a couple of hours but It may be due to my settings with brightness/bluetooth/push notifications, etc. But overall, I love my Tablet, great quality for the price ($150 on sale).... just travel with the power cable.

Best thing I have ever purchased. Works fantastic. Charges up very fast and long life battery. I am now a big fan of Samsung. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

The tablet works great and very useful for my sons

I am enjoying my Samsung very much. Now I can lie in my bed and use it instead of my desktop. Apps are great and connection is perfect.

We all want more bang for our buck, and this tablet delivers just that! I purchased two.

Graphics and speed not quite as good as more expensive model but great for what I need.

This tablet is very good at taking pics, watching movies on the internet and other wonderful things but the main isssue is that the earphone port stop functioning properly and I've only had this tablet for 2 months! Yes only for 2 months!!!

The Samsung Tab 4 are awesome. Great qualiity, awesome apps

I had high hopes for this tablet as I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone that I love. Thought this tablet would be easy to learn. The keyboard & keys are larger but I often find errors because the letter I wanted was not printed, the letter next to it was printed. The type size is very small & I have not found a way to increase it. The touch screen is so sensitive that while trying to type an email or on Facebook, the screen jumps all over. A friend suggested a stylus, but by the time you buy the tablet, a screen protector, a cover & a stylus, you could have bought a better quality tablet. I feel I have wasted my money & I am frankly angry about it. I usually just go back to using my phone, which was what I was trying to avoid. When looking for tablets I first went to the Puyallup store & told the salesman at the tablet counter which tablet I was looking for. He pointed to an area & started to walk there with me. Another customer came & asked the salesman about a computer. The salesman went with the man to the computer department, leaving me standing there. After the salesman had not returned in 10 minutes, I left the store. Obviously I was not important enough to receive service. Or maybe I wasn't going to spend enough. I later went to the Tacoma store & purchased the tablet. At this point, I feel the tablet is useless & my business is not valued by Best Buy.

I have been looking for a tablet that wouldn't hit my pocket too hard. I finally found a black one at BestBuy. Being spoiled with nowadays' technology and being a very picky customer, I can state that I am fully satisfied with my tablet. The screen quality is just awesome. The tablet is pretty fast. It perfectly fits in one hand (average size). It's perfect for web browsing, watching movies, and all other things that one would do on a tablet. The only downside is the memory size (8 gigabytes). But I found a solution to that by purchasing a 64-gigabyte micro sd card. What I love about my black Samsung tablet is that it's extre customizable. It has lot's of features (a great example is dual screen). The battery life is super as well. If it's fully charged, I never worry about it again. It can definitely handle a few full movies in a row.

I bought my Samsung Tablet recently for my Vegas trip. The reason I bought this tablet is because I don't have my Sony mp3 player anymore. Which makes me really sad since it was an awesome mp3 player! Anyway, I had been thinking about buying a tablet but it wasn't until now that I was going on this trip that I decided to finally buy it. I LOVE IT! I'm so glad I bought it. I have used it every single day since. The battery lasts a long time, the quality of the pictures are really good, the mp3 players are great, it's easy to use, it's a very nice size and it's a great looking device. I still plan on replacing my beautiful Sony mp3 player but as far as this product goes, I'm really satisfied.

Great tablet bought it for my 4 year old daughter. It's small, easy to use, runs fast, even has kids mode. The only thing I dislike about this tablet is the storage, it runs out quickly so you can't download that many apps unless you have a micro SD card..

I purchased a tablet for my 5 year old to free my phone up when he wants to watch YouTube videos and play games. He made the jump from the Note 4 to the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 with ease, exact same button layout just bigger. Things I like, I can link my Google Account to this tablet and monitor what he is doing. He can not download anything or open anything that isn't on the approved list. The included app "Kids Mode" is what made me get this Galaxy Tab over the iPad Mini. As far as use the tablet runs YouTube and Play Store games beautiful and is the perfect size for a child. My Note 4 was too small and my S2 was too big. This tablet fits between those size perfect and his 5 year old hands can hold the tablet with ease. If you're thinking of going with a cheaper tablet just spend the extra money and get a quality product. The last thing that drove me to get this over other cheaper tablets was the battery life, we are currently getting a full day of use, Waking up and playing games, a mid-day YouTube show before nap, and the nightly windown before bed playing on the tablet. This tablet has earned my approval and has my 5 year old entering the digital age with parental controls and ease of use, get one!

This is a nice little tablet. I like the portability and the size of it because it's actually just the right size to fit in some of my bigger pockets. It's fast and it's really easy to use. Some of the adware and bloatware added by Samsung is annoying, but that's what you get if you want a good product. It'll play and do everything that you want it to really, but be sure to get some expandable storage because 8gb doesn't take too long to fill up.

I was looking for a tablet that I could carry around at work. I only have a feature phone (burner, dumb phone) since monthly charges are much lower. This tablet helps me bridge the gap between a phone to make calls and a full feature smart phone. I can check my emails and make Google hangouts calls on the tablet using wifi at work (limited cell signal inside) as well as all of the other features common on most smart devices. Since this is a little bit older version of android there a few apps that would not install but I can just use the Web version for most of these so no biggy. The tablet fits in my back pocket with ease and my front pocket if I clear out anything else in there (no skinny jeans allowed). The battery life is good and I seldom have lag issues after using clean master app. I get over a full day of use with some web browsing and moderate app use. Ifor I watch videos I get less battery life but could easily stream movies for hours on one charge. If you want a small tablet that meets most people's expectations at a really decent price then this is the one to have. I picked mine up for $129 in January but the last time I was at best buy I see the price went back up to $149. Even so, I still think this is a great price for what I bought.

I bought this tablet because I was asked to design something for the Android OS and I needed some experience using an Android product. This was the perfect solution for my endeavor. A solid, inexpensive tablet that does what I need it to do. I love the size and weight. It is easy to handle and I enjoy reading books on this device compared to my "fruit" iTablet. I found a few games I like to play, yet in my opinion the tablet does have a few drawbacks. I have lived the last decade in the world of Apple. I have draw accustom to the hardware and the software being from the same company. I believe it creates a better experience. This tablet has a split between hardware and the software which comes from two separate companies. SO, you get two email clients, two book readers, two calendar apps, and so on. Space is already limited on this tablet so I bought a SD card. Only to find out that I have to download special software to move things to the SD card. I believe this is a great little inexpensive tablet, yet it will not be replacing anything I already have. If you are looking for something basic and inexpensive this is the tablet for you. Great for reading books and playing games. My personal opinion, I didn't like checking my email, Facebook, or watching video (lower res) on the device. Yet that doesn't mean you won't. Just remember you get what you pay for. My expectations were not set high because of the lower price So I am happy with what I got.
