Bought this tablet last month as a gift for my step son. While it's quick enough and handles most games fine, I was sold this tablet under the impression it came other a "kids mode" app or profile pre-loaded on the device, or at least available from Samsung. I guess after looking into it, Samsung had previously made it available but pulled it from the devices.

This is a great tablet, just the right size, But I am an Apple user and the learning curve for this was just too much for me. I needed a full-time tutor. I had problems with an app getting its data on the SD card. Most of the data stayed in flash and very little on the card. It was the app's problem. I was running out of work space due to this app and that just would not fly. Reluctantly, I returned it.

I love this tablet. It has more memory than other tablets. It is easy to use and has a good viewing screen. Also a great price!

Sometimes it will not stay turned off. Space is full quickly; It doesn't have enough space for a student to download books, pdf's, music, pics, etc. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this would be due to the substandard customer service you get when calling 888 bestbuy. I had gotten transferred around, & hung up on at least 3 times. If you are able to address your issues & buy the product directly from the store; it would be a much better experience... Likewise, I recommend buying it from the store.

I was looking for the best compact tablet for a low price and ended up making a great choice. Added a 32gb micro SD card for maximum storage. The display is excellent and everything works well so far. It connects very quickly with the wireless and battery life is very good. Use it mostly for emails and social media and very satisfied. The camera is good for snapshots I guess, but I use a camera for photos. The tablet is a really good value even at the regular price (was $50 off the day I purchased)

When a phone is too small and a 10" tablet is like a lap top you get a Tab 4, 7.0". For myself the larger screen works well with my banking app. The Nook app I have loaded now allows me more freedom, don't have to carry several books on a trip. This is the 3rd Samsung product we have purchased and are well satisfied with each.

I got this for my kiddo. Excellent size and weight. I'm pretty calm about any damage it may happen due to the insurance.

I love that the tablet is just a perfect size to fit into my purse and has the feature of front and rear facing camera so I can Skype with my family and friends. Another benefit is the expandable memory, since I love taking videos and pictures.

Amazing tablet for adults & kids. It's fast, easy to use, does a lot & affordable. Get one & you'll be very happy to own one.

Microsoft Word & PowerPoint are great for school! So many other features that are very helpful in all my college needs!!

I ended up getting 2 of these for my kids and installing 'Kids Mode' from the Samsung store. It allows the parent to set a timer for how long they can play and locks them into a kid friendly interface where they can only get to the apps you allow, all protected by a PIN. When you want your normal tablet back you enter your PIN and boom, regular Android (well as regular as Samsung makes) again.

I purchased this tablet for my eighty year old mother. She loves playing her casino games. Easy to use, wonderful size

I got this for my 14 year old son. He loves it. Does all that he needs it to do. Easy to navigate, great sound and picture.

This tablet has a long life battery so recharging is easily handles. The ease of operation makes it very desirable tablet.

Great quality Samsung tablet, featuring the kit kat operating system. The tab 8 is fast, easy to use and set up. The screen is very nice, featuring great resolution and color. Over all, I would have to say Samsung has created another winner in my book.

I got this tablet for my grandson for Chistmas. He already had one of another brand but had just about worn it out. Upon opening the package he was obviously pleased and immediately got started setting things up on it, with some help from his Mom. Before the night was over he was recharging the battery. All setup went well and he's enjoyed using it since receiving it! I recommended he get a protective case for it as twelve year olds aren't always careful with delicate things!

Bought tablet for my brother in law and he loves it. He likes it is small and easy to use.
