This tablet was very easy to setup. It's easy enough for my 7 year old to maneuver around. The camera is nice. We ran out of memory quick, but that was easily fixed with an inexpensive mini memory card.

I already had a Samsung - Galaxy Tab 4 - 8 - 16GB which is a bit faster and bigger then this one , i wanted to replace my Nexus 7 with a new one for work, cause i broke the screen but had a hard time finding one for a reasonable price so i bought the Samsung - Galaxy Tab 4 - 7 - 8GB which was on sale , it gets the job done no doubt , batterie life could be a bit better , Maps and driving direction software needed some tweaking but it works fine now , i use this all day every day for work , its a good buy for the money and it is very reliable, another thing is, if it gets to hot in the car with the sun beating down in Arizona it will shut down ,never had this problem with the Nexus tablet.

I am a long time iPad user and wasn't sure about an Android device. I checked reviews and Samsung tablets and notes were always very highly rated. I really wanted to jump for the Galaxy S but it was too much to spend since I wasn't sure if I 'd like the Android device. It is obviously a great value for the money, but not to learn on. I purchased the Galaxy Tab 4 as that learning device. The price was outstanding! I've had it about a month and LOVE it. I have learned a great deal about both Samsung and Android on this Note. I hope to upgrade to the Galaxy S soon. I will keep the Note 4 for when I'm away from the house. Did I mention I love this Note!

This was my first real tablet, and I can honestly say I am happy about this purchase. It is only 7", but perfect for what I need. Very fast and responsive. Slim design, and lightweight. Love Samsung!

Love the quality of the pixels in the screen. Good for carrying in a purse or back back. Light for carrying around. Very good gift for a kid, the quality is very strong.

We bought these for my kids. It's easy to use and set up and runs great and fast. The only downfall would be the only 8g of memory. I would recommend getting an extra memory card for it.

Nice size. Runs smoothly. No issues with connectivity. My only beef is that they changed the menu button to the task manager button. This limits the amount of things you can do in apps. For instance when running the Facebook app you cannot share anything externally because you need the menu button for that. I use that function to send funny things to people via email or other apps. Another example with the Facebook app is that you can't save anything to your tablet from he Facebook app either because of the lack of a menu button. I wish there was a way to switch the buttons functionality via the tablets settings or something.

This tablet is a very good one its camera is good n the processor is fast tablet doesn't lag very fast jus memory is very little but it's a good table!!

I wanted a lap top but my son told me to try the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 . I loved it ! Because I am able to make the words larger with a wave of my hand.. I use the internet, face book, and e-mail. I also added some new apps and eBooks . I love that it is so easy to use and to carry around where ever I go. I love the camera (movie and pic's) which is so easy to use. It also comes with blue-tooth and you tube. I love to play solitaire sitting on my sofa with the Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 (I couldn't do it with a big desktop or lap top). The Samsung staff & best buy staff were great and very helpful at the Best buy Pasadena Ca. 5 stars Samsung you hit out the park with this one!

My son really wanted a tablet and this was the perfect one. Great size for his hands, nice and fast, plenty of storage for his games. Ipads were way too overpriced for what you get, I would never recommend apple to anyone. The Android on this tablet is easy to work with and also very customizable for his likes. He absolutely loves it. I would recommend this to anyone with a kid.

This tablet was easy to learn because I already have a Samsung Galaxy phone. I like it's speed, the screen is a nice size and has rich colors.

I started with a Tegra Note 7 and it stunk! This is so much better designed but the limit of 8G kinda leaves you well, limited. I have a 164G SD card installed and the apps that I can move I do. Can't wait for the 256G SD cards. This device streams well and battery life is good. The s peach interface leaves much to be desired but then again it's not Siri. I don't feel like I'm walking around with an egg. its rugged enough. camera could be better but I don't hold that against them. I do like that I can direct where images and video are stored. As with most android devices, it can only get better.

I hardly purchases gadgets as I will be happy with the items whatever I'm purchasing for some years. Trust me that this item is really really cool stuff for the price they are giving. Though initially I got a feel like the display of the tab is small, now I got used to it. But it doesn't give me any sort of inferiority on this item. Moreover this item is working good and fine till date. Please note that I'm posting this review only after usage of 1 month.

Great tablet. Slightly different from the Tab3. Back has a matte finish, improved camera (fearring night mode, however no longer has a timer to autoshoot which sucks), comes with a decent kids mode (pretty basic "apps" on it). Overall, I really like it over my tab3. Just wish it still had the capability of storing most apps on the SD card like the tab2 had. Really sucks that Samsung removes that feature. I don't have enough space for apps (for myself and my 3yo) anymore.

I am really enjoying samsung products. The tab 4 was the second set of tablets I have baught for my kids. So I am now using their Tab 2. I also baught a samsung mouse that works great with all the samsung tablets. Now Ican use the table let like a mini lapktop. Much easier to travel with than my big laptop. Small enough to throw in my purse. Tab 4 runs faster than the tab2 with great updates the kids were excited about.

I bought this tablet to have a 7" device for testing (I work in software). So it's on a pile of other devices. Most of my devices are Samsung. I love what they release and I love Android. So in general, I DO love the Tab 4 7". It would have become my every day tablet except for two things: 1) I rely a LOT on vibration cues from my devices. I like to keep sound notifications off. This tablet does NOT vibrate. So my main day to day tablet will stay the 10" Samsung Note (2012 edition). 2) The size is not far off from my giant Galaxy Note 3 phone. So the 10" is probably a better tablet for my needs. However, I plan to get my Mom a Tab 3 or Tab 4 because I feel strongly that they are the best. Easiest to use. Great battery life. Wonderful screen. I just got a Kindle Fire HD as a testing device, and like the Samsung tablets way more. You don't need a Kindle device since there is an Amazon app for Kindle books. If the vibration isn't important to you, then this tablet is PERFECT for 2014 technology. If it's important to you, then consider the 10" Samsung Note.

i bought this tablet for my 3 year old and he loves it!!! battery last for a long time and its so easy to handle and the perfect size!!

This is probably the most responsive piece of tech I own. I love the response of the touch screen. It dies in about 12 hours which is better than my phone on a GPS and mobile data on. It is very light weight plus you can order a gaming pad and enjoy it for hours. CONS: I was trying to find a Samsung VR but could not find anything that works 3D for a 7 inch tablet but I am happy with the resolution and the screen resolution..

Bought this as a birthday gift for my wife. It had just come out a few weeks prior and I couldn't believe how affordable it was for being so new. Works great if you are already deep into google play. Returned my kindle fire shortly after purchasing this galaxy tab, far superior tablet for sure

Big enough screen, easy to navigate, holds battery charge well, perfect size for smaller hands and good enough memory space.
