I bought these tablets for my boys and they have been simple enough for them to use ages 5 and 8

The unit is very light and easy to use if you like android. I bought this to take to work, but find I use it all the time.

I bought this to read and play apps. The battery is so so. Seems to me it goes down fast. The OS is also slow for one of the games I play. My phone performs much better, given the size difference, I would expect the tablet to be an upgrade, but it is not. For general tasks like reading, that require no processor, it is fine. Not even sure that warrants 3 stars, but there you go. Mildly disappointed with my first tablet.

We have found that our Galaxy Tab 4 has plenty of room for all the activities that we want, even when sharing it. The WiFi is a cinch to set up, and battery life has been good. If you are used to surfing on a smart phone you will really enjoy the screen size too.
