Screen quality is great and the camera is ok for general picture taking. The sound quality is not as good as previous models as there is now only one speaker instead of two and the speaker is located on the back of the devise instead of the bottom. Overall this is one of the best 7" tablets on market. I like the 7" size because it is easily hand held and will fit into a pocket and Samsung seems to be of good quality.

Great little tablet at a great price. My son really enjoys this Tablet. He uses it every day and particularly loves watching You Tube videos on it and playing Clash of Clans. It is and ideal, reasonably priced tablet for kids and adults who need a tablet for internet use, using apps and watching videos. He no longer borrows my wife's Iphone 6 plus because he has this great little tablet instead. I recommend it highly. Very easy to use, sharp images, and a very good value.

Had an older ereader that was starting to have issues and after some research decided to replace it with a 7" tablet that used android apps. This tablet is a nice size to carry. It has bright screen and most if my android apps work well on it. The camera is the biggest disappointment. It has a very low resolution and would only be good for situations that quality is not a concern. All in all this is a nice little tablet for checking email, web surfing, and reading e-books.

Faster processing speeds than the previous version and several standard features that are better like "Smart Stay", which tracks your eye movement and keeps the screen on as long as you are reading. It will automatically dim the screen when you are not using it and keeps you from having to constantly "wake up" the device. The battery seems to last longer than the older one as well. Overall, it kept all of the features of the Galaxy Tab 3 version I liked and added new features I enjoy as well.

I owned the previous generation of this tablet and only had to replaced due to a cracked screen, and this one has been just as good, obviously improved, I would definitely recommend or gift a tablet like this to friends and family, fast, reliable and capable, best of all, a great affordable price!!

This tablet is versatile and not to large to carry around all the time. Very easy to use and the picture quality is awesome.

Size was the primary reason for the purchase: very small and light. And it is less expensive than an iPad. It works well with similar features to the pad. It may be my lack of experience but it seems a bit less intuitive in its functioning. Overall, for price (half the cost of an iPad) and features it's an excellent deal and a worthwhile tool.

I purchased this tablet for my 6 year old daughter to replace a horrible Kurio. Great design, look, and feel. She loves the front and rear camera and the android operating system gives her plenty of options. I purchased a 32gb sd card because the internal memory is only 8 gb. The speed leaves a little to be desired but overall satisfied. And fast shipping from Best Buy.

I got this tab because of the price and the fact that it was better than the tablet I already owned. Samsung Galaxys are well known and have a long line of products, so there are less problems. I also have a Droid phone so I know the software on this was solid. Everything on this work very well.does what it says and there is no lag in work. My Internet can not keep up with this thing. Reading books and movies is superior. The memory is fine on here but I have a 16gb card.

We now have 3 Samsung tablets in our house. The Tab 4 is the latest purchase for my son. My daughter and I have 3's. We highly recommend these to anyone. They are durable, fast and conveniently sized. Only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that it is hard to find cases for them and they tend to be more expensive. The fact that you have a SD card for additional storage is great, and the android operating system means that it is much cheaper for kids to get apps.

I bought this tablet because I was wanting to play some of the games that friends were playing on their iOS/Android devices. Having a Blackberry phone limited the Android apps I could run. Some worked some didn't. I didn't want to upgrade my phone since buying the tablet was cheaper than an upgrade, that's the route I took. It is WiFi/Bluetooth capable only so that could be a downside to some. There is no WiFi where I work so I tethered the tablet to my phone(Bluetooth feature) and use its data plan to access the internet through the tablet. It works great like this and I have internet access anywhere I have a phone signal. Tethering does drain the phone battery rather quickly so that should be a consideration. I can always get through a 9 hour day at work and still have 30% battery life on my phone and around 70% on the tablet. It uses the micro USB power cord, same as my phone, which is convenient. I would have liked the ability to switch out batteries for fresh, but haven't really needed to. The camera on this device isn't very good. The images I've taken with it have been grainy at best. I didn't buy it for that so it is not a big deal to me. But could be a consideration to some. All in all I consider this a great tablet for the money. Wally had it regular price(white version only) at a lower price and Best Buy matched it. Savings I used to get an Otter Box case that I wouldn't have spent that much on otherwise. So Best buy made out with more. Than if I had just gotten the tablet.

I had purchased this tablet for my son as a replacement for his older Samsung Tab2 7" after it had been dropped and the screen cracked. It's fast, runs well, plays the games he has purchased easily. This tablet was bought for his 18th birthday as the replacement for his old one. Being a senior in high school he has used it for reading and information gathering as well as for entertainment. He had the choice of getting a larger model but had chosen this 7" version since he had greatly enjoyed the smaller size and it's ability to be carried almost anywhere easily. The usage of this tablet runs from Netflix to Youtube to reading books he has downloaded from the playstore as well as playing games and even using some 3d modelling apps. This tablet may not have the highest resolution and it may not be the quickest on the market but for those that want extreme high definition and a powerhouse tablet will need to spend the money and pay more. For a tablet that was purchased under $200.00 it exceeds expectations. This is a tablet for those that want a nice little media device for watching and streaming movies, for listening to music, and doing some reading, as well as some decent game playing. If your looking for something that will be a replacement for a computer or to be run in a home office this may not be the tablet you're looking for, although it can do some decent light work in those areas. As a tablet that was meant for fun and easy/light work this tablet is great.

Great size for kids easy to use even for my 3 year old and easy for carry. The camera is good to.

I got this tablet for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! It is the first tablet him or I have owned so I don't have anything to compare it to, but we are very pleased with it. It is nice and light weight and easy to hold in one hand without feeling uncomfortably awkward. Since it was only 8GB I also bought the 32GB micro SD card to enhance the memory. Very affordable as well.
