I decided to upgrade my aging 3 year old Galaxy Tab 4 8" model with this one. The weight is a tad heavy but it has the same level of thickness. I decided to go with the model without the S Pen since I rarely used them with my Note Phones. The one disappointed thing about this tablet is the low 16GB of storage. After mandatory apps, you'll have roughtly 10GB of user space available to you. One thing I highly recommend is for you to buy a screen protector. Samsung displays are fingerprint magnets, but they are still considered the best.

my apple ipad died after 5 yrs. , it was a gift and 5yrs ago the best pad around. i now have this samsung galaxy tab a and i will never go back to the apple ipad. Having samsung s7 phones this new ipad is identical in operation, just a bigger display. it will be our new travel pad for watching shows and exploring local things to do and eat when we travel. the samsung cover is also unique, great products

Images and photos are very clear and very fast loading.

It works great and it is fast! It sync's up with my Samsung phone with no issues!

I really like this tablet. It's the first one I've owned and it was important that it was Android, fast, and has a great HD resolution. The HD is remarkable. I loaded several movies to watch on a couple flights and the resolution is AMAZING. It linked very easily with my Bluetooth headsets and shares back and forth with my Galaxy Note 5 seamlessly. My only complaint is that several of the apps I loaded onto the micro SD card routinely quit working. That may be operator malfunction cause I'm still learning my way around the tablet.

It's a good tab for the kids and if they have work to do it works for them
