I have been contemplating switching from Apple to Samsung because my wife is a firm believer in Samsung products. I purchased this to replace my iPad and so happy that I did and can't believe I didn't do it sooner. The picture quality is great - bright and vibrant colors. Not too mention easy to use and so many more features and user control than the apple products. Samsung has gained a new customer.

I purchased this tablet to replace an older Samsung 10" tablet. With new screen technology the physical dimensions are noticeably smaller and it is lighter. The battery time before requiring re-charging is also noticeably longer. The tablet did not have excessive additional applications pre-installed which was nice. The only issue I have had so far has been tapping an icon in order to open an application. It seems to take multiple taps frequently which can get irritating.

Good buy for a tablet. Android system is reliable and the battery seems to hold a charge better than the Tab 4.

Very nice clear screen and pictures. The sound is clear and speed is good. Nice tablet for the price and convenience.

Since I needed 2, for my wife and I, decided on this model due to the price. Good decision. Well worth saving $100 for each if i purchased the next model

This is our 2nd one of these. My daughter has had the 1st one for over a year (no issues) and now we bought the 2nd one for our son. Great for the price.

This Samsung is large enough to use easily and compact enough to store anywhere. My laptop was getting slow and unpredictable and I was looking for something to replace it. I am retired and only do some consulting so have to send a hundred or so photos at a time. Using a memory card, I can use this and it is perfect for me. Usually try to stick with Samsung and am glad that I did with this.

I need an android device for my work. I wanted something larger and easier to read than a "normal" 8" device. The 10" screen is easy to use and battery life is better than I expected. My only complaint is I can't uninstall the default Samsung apps like Samsung Kids. I could reformat the device but I'm too lazy.

IN USING THIS TABLET I FIND THAT IT MEETS ALL OF MY REQUIREMENTS . THE SIZE IS VERY USEFUL FOR JOB. IT IS EASY TO USE AND VERY RESPONSIVE FOR THE APPS NEEDED. NOTED THAT THE CHARGER INCLUDED IN THE BOX WAS USEFUL. TOO BAD THAT THE COLORS AVAILABLE WAS ONLY BLACK AND WHITE.

Nice screen and speed, don't understand why it would've been $300, glad I found it on sale! And the 10" with pen is actually a completely different device, the names are deceiving...anyway! For a tablet it's nice. Like a giant smart phone without the phone or notebook without the keyboard. Good for games and carrying around the house to watch shows or listen to music while cleaning. Only has two speakers on one side which kinda sucks. Would've been better if one was on each side but it's a tablet, not a super machine.

Bought this for my wife to replace an older Samsung tablet. Love the display, very crisp and vivid.and great for watching TV while in other room via Dish Hopper. Speed is 3x better then old tablet and battery life 9+ hrs. Great buy for $249 and would highly recommend if looking to purchase an Android tablet.

I bought this tablet for both my kids 8 and 9 and they use them everyday for Minecraft and other games. The battery lasts for a decent amount and the micro card helps.

This is a good performing Android tablet. I was looking at this and the Fire HD 10 (Amazon) tablet, which was on sale for $100 for Black Friday (this one was $50 more. The problem with the Amazon tablet is it's geared mainly for Prime and people locked into the Amazon ecosystem. There's also no Play Store on the Fire HD. Yes, I know you can sideload it, but that slows it down significantly also. The Samsung performs well, and is easier to work with from the beginning.

Nice little tablet. It has a very clear picture. Its pretty easy on the hands, more like an e reader, but its has a nice feel. The battery is pretty hefty, lasts a pretty long time. It feels like a giant phone, but that's OK. For the price, and for what I needed, it was the best option. I'm not a huge Apple fan, nor do I care for the price of their products, so here I am with this. I'd buy it again and I'd recommend it if your in the market for an affordable tablet.

Samsung impresses as always. I was always against tablets but not anymore. Unlike the iPad the Samsung tablet is on sale and a great price. I love it!

I got talked into a tablet instead of a laptop, and boy am I glad! The Samsung Tab A is perfect for my needs and small enough to take wherever I go.

I bought the tablet because the price was good. Got it and i am amazed how well it works. Good size too.

East to set up. Excellent battery life. Size great for reading.

this is great, speedy tablet. I already have a 7" and an 8.4" samsung galaxy tablet. I wanted a larger tablet, more comfortable to my eyes. This tablet has now become my goto for pretty much all tablet activities. Its really nice and light but I do use a stand for extended use. By the way, I bought the Samsung cover. It fits magnetically and is a great addition.
