I purchased 2 of these tablets, one for me and my husband. We are extremely pleased with the screen resolution and the performance of this product. I have a 12 inch Samsung Galaxy tablet that I purchased over 4 years ago and it is still working as well as it did on day one. I like the fact you can add an expansion card, that certainly meets my needs for pictures and other media. I wanted something a little smaller to carry with me at certain times and this size definitely works for me. Very, very good product.

Easy to setup, fast processor. Screen colors are great, crystal clear. Good battery life.

I purchased the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 because my ipad was starting to die and I wanted to get away from i-products. The tablet is heavier than the ipad but it's also much larger and I did put it in a protective (front and back) case which also adds a bit of weight. On the plus side, the screen quality is beautiful and since I plan to use this to watch video, the wide-screen layout is just perfect. I love that the memory is expandable through use of an SD card and best of all for me, the tablet works just like my Galaxy Note 5 so the interface was already familiar to me the first time I turned the tablet on.

I had already bought this tablet for myself and it was so easy to use that I bought one for my son. His other one was smaller so this one is definitely equipped with a bigger screen, more storage, long battery life, and light weight to hold.

I thought this tablet had it all. It is nice and big, fast and modern, lightweight and easy to carry. The one thing it doesn't have is a sim card slot. Great tablet overall though.

This Samsung tablet is fantastic. It has a full HD screen, fast processor, and a very good touchscreen. Great for watching videos, email, web searches, etc. It has a long battery that makes it ideal for use on trips. Expand the 16GB memory with an SD card for more storage. Can't go wrong with this Samsung unit.

I had been planning to purchase a larger tablet since I had been using a small Fire tablet for several years.So I looked for something on the internet and found the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 at Best Buy. I really enjoy using the tablet, it has a large screen, is pretty fast and takes good photos. It also has great battery life.

As an above average to expert level tech savvey individual, I was tasked with purchasing a tablet for mother dearest. I read many reviews and looked at the specs for comparison. For the cost, this is great. For the capability, this is better. For my mothers satisfaction, and my sanity for what level I have to explain functions of different process's on this tablet, the best. My mother has asked fewer questions about what to do on this tablet than any device she's had before. She loves it. I have it paired with a wireless LG keyboard, so for creating documents or surfing the internet it is great. I highly recommend this to anyone.

The tablet is fast, visually clear, and simple to use. The size of the tablet makes it easier to use and see everything. It comes with a lot of useful features.

The tablet is light, speedy and the screen looks pretty. The Samsung interface that they bolted on top of android is both eye pleasing and annoying all at the same time. If you're not going to be doing a lot with this tablet, then this is the right thing for you. If you're hoping to install lots of apps, then get the one with more storage or a different model. Why? Out of box, the tablet is already half-full. Annnnd... The SD card expansion is useless for anything but storing data files. Even though this version of Android can support turning the SDCard into an extension of the internal storage, Samsung has crippled this ability. I assume it's to charge us another $50-100 for the 16GB memory chip that costs them less than $10. So, while you CAN technically move apps to the SDCard, they will be shifted back to internal storage by Android as soon as they're updated, meaning at every update cycle, you get to go through your apps and re-move them to the SDCard. Every stinking time. So, while the hardware is nice and works well, it is hobbled by an almost crippling lack of storage, unless all you do is browse and use just a few apps. To be honest, I knew going in it was short on storage, but I thought I could make up for it with an SDCard. I didn't know going in that Samsung had hamstrung the SDCard capability. Live and learn I guess.

Replaced an old Dell 8. Larger and higher res screen is helpful, though a bit heavier. Much faster. Display model had Android 7.0, though mine shipped with 6.0.1. Tried updating and called Samsung, but was told 7 was coming soon, but not yet. Samsung assumed Best Buy had installed 7.0 in store for demo; a bit misleading.

I had an older version of the Samsung tab and it worked great for years I just wanted something newer and faster. The camera is lot better on this one and has more memory and it's faster. Would definitely recommend especially for the price.

This Samsung 10.1A fits the bill for weight and size when it comes to checking emails and social media everyday. The automatic brightness is perfect for adjusting screenview and saving battery power too. The keyboard is large enough to use for writing things like this short review. This was a great gift that I use instead of my Samsung cell phone. And I thought it had a large screen!

Purchased to replace older (5 years old) Samsung Tab and now everything works great. Use for average use (YouTube, web browsing, etc) and not an ounce of problems. My one game was having problems on the older tab and now works like it's supposed to. Previously had another manufacturer's tablet before the Samsungs, they just work for much more time than the other brand.

Love my Galaxy Tab A because of the short learning curve , ease of use and the long battery life between charges. The screen resolution is perfect for my internet surfing. This is my first foray into personal electronics other than my cell phone. Found out that I have gotten addicted to reading books on my tab A. My public library has 3 different programs for patrons.

Purchased this tablet to replace my wife's bulky laptop. The screen size is perfect for her and the resolution is outstanding. It works great as it can be held or placed on her lap with ease. Connected to wifi and can print to wireless printer.....a real bonus. Had no problems with configuration, very easy. Samsung did a great job with this tablet.

The Galaxy Tab A is an excellent tablet for general use, but it does have a few flaws. By this point, a premium tablet should come with at least 32GB of on board memory. I looked past that, and figured I would make up for the lack of space with an Micro SDXC Memory card, 128GB to be specific. Unfortunately, the Android operating system doesn't allow you to save everything to the card. In fact, most apps wont work at all on the add on card, so you have to rely on the limited space this tablet offers. After you account for the OS and proprietary Samsung apps, I anticipate a lack of space will be a problem with this tablet. You can save many things to the SDXC though, files like pictures and music are saveable to it and even some of the data generated by the apps in certain cases. On the plus side, the 10" screen is ideal for people with larger, less nimble hands and while the resolution is not 4k like the Samsung 3, it is still HD quality and a much better value, especially at the sale price I paid. I am waiting to see how the longevity of it is, considering my daughter's 7" Tab is buggy as heck after about a year and a half (even with frequent resets the WiFi connecting is a bit dodgy). Still, in all, I think Samsung makes a decent tablet that's worth getting.
