I'll admit up front - I messed up on setting up the pattern password. I couldn't remember the pattern, and after many lockouts and fruitless attempts, I gave up. Yes, it is 100% my fault. However, as a caution: there's no way to reset it yourself on this tablet that I could figure out after searching high and low in the Internet. After speaking with a helpful Samsung agent via chat, I sent it back to Samsung. They factory reset it and sent it back. The tablet is working well and is exactly what I needed after trying to fight with an old Amazon Kindle Fire. It's easy to use, easy to add apps, and easy to tote. I love the price point as compared to the iPad. Another caution - it seems to work best charging in a real Samsung wall charger.

I was looking for a tablet with a big screen, fast & with a sim card. However upon closer inspection in the Specs which I should have read before my purchase, it was WiFi only. I really think that should be in the advertisement for us dummies who don't look in the Specs to see wifi or sim card before they buy.. The tablet does everything I wanted has crisp vibrant colors and has a fast processor so surfing the web is a breeze. I'am happy with my purchase just needed to add 128mg SD card. Oh almost forgot to mention the battery is absolutely AMAZING I can use it all day and never have to charge it, actually I can use it 2 days before I need to charge it.

I bought it as replacement tablet for my son and he loves it! He loves the big screen, good resolution, it's easy to use, fast and with good memory.

I originally got the tab a 9.7 but could not stand the resolution. And for a bit more it's better to get this tab. Plus octave core processor and many more features. Plus 10.1 inches. I'm just waiting for a good rubber case to come out. If you're a person who uses a tab as a side thing because you're always on your phone, than this is a must have. I didn't get the South because I already have a small lap top and in my opinion it's like overkill for a t. If you dont have a laptop then by all means look into an so tab, especially if you like android. Otherwise get this. Unless your budget conscious, than go for tab a. 9.7

Really nice tablet, fast, great screen quality, and for a 10" tablet it's not heavy or hard to hold. I would recommend for anyone looking for a great tablet at a fair price.

Brilliant screen. Awesome speed. Love that sd card can add up to 128gb. Easy to use. Can transfer you previous Google account over in a hurry. Very good battery life 8-10 hrs. WAY BETTER THAN IPAD!!

I think the tablet is great considering its price. It comes with a 10" screen, 16GB internal memory and dual camera. The battery life is pretty long for my use and I'm pretty happy with that. Screen resolution and contrast is pretty impressive. I just wish it were to have a higher resolution front camera.

Replaced my iPad 2 refurb. Screen looks great, long battery life, easy to use. My only complaints are sometimes youtube videos won't play because it thinks another youtube video is playing. Gifv files sometimes won't load...there's a way to solve this that I've had to do twice now, for some reason it wont save the settings. FIX for gifv files is here from /u/Saposhiente Just type about:flags in your address bar, then search for "gesture requirement", enable the flag titled "Disable gesture requirement for media playback".

Bought this a gift for my grandmother who wanted to update her tablet...hers was like a 7 in screen, not she’s upgraded to a bigger faster tablet and she loves it, she only watches movies and plays games but the super sized screen makes it easier on the eyes and runs way smoother.

Been very happy with this purchase. Nice screen size, very clear. Processing is very fast. I use it for Kindle reading, watching instructional videos, viewing and editing MS Office docs on Google Drive, web browsing and shopping, and playing a few games. No issues at all so far.

So far i have had the tablet since the week of black Friday and i love it. It's snappy, plays videos quickly, nice crisp screen thats very responsive. So far i have had no issues with it and its performed as described. One of the things i love about the 10.1 Galaxy Tab A is the super slim body design thats still fairly heavy. its sleek and thin with a nice solid weight to it, so it doesnt feel cheep or flimsy. I feel the Tablet just hit the mark of being worth buying at full price however i would suggest waiting till it is on sale again and picking it up then. i got mine for 159.99 during black friday week, which made it far more worth the price. over all you cant go wrong with this tablet if you are looking for something that performs on the upper level for a low mid range price.

Great Tablet. Screen is easy to read, great processor and long battery life which I really appreciate. Uses a memory card so no limit to the data you can store.

At first I wanted the s model with pen and 3GB for the O/S but there wasn't any in stock locally... BB had this one as an "open box" so I figured for that price, why not. It was a great gamble. For my use (email, web surfing, and a few apps I need to use) it is great and plenty fast. The screen is as good or better than my old iPad 4, even though it is narrower width but longer length, which took some getting used to, but now I don't even notice it. Wifi is solid, and I just got offered the new Oreo update, which it did without a hitch. The Oreo update improved the already very good battery life a bit, and sped things up a tick as far as I can tell. All in all, this is a very good tablet for a great price. Probably the best bang for the buck spent out there.

Easy to use right out of the box. It picked up all my app's quickly and ready for use. It does feel a little awkward being as long as it is but on the other side, when you turn it sideways it gives you a very good picture especially watching You Tube or other programs.

Great tablet vibrant picture. Ugh better than having to get an expensive iPad that within 2 to 3 years you would have to upgrade becasue of an iOS upgrade can add space with sd card and the black Friday sale price helped love this tablet worth the price of admission.
