We purchases this tablet to be used to play videos for long car trips. We opted for Samsung over a Kindle version, because we wanted some other functionality from it too. It was a great decision. It does everything we want it to do. The battery seems to last a long time too.

Primarily use this for mobile games, Twitter, Youtube and music services such as Pandora. Everything runs smooth, can switch back and forth between programs seamlessly. Big improvement on speaker than my previous Samsung tablet, but keep in mind they are still tablet speakers. Great upgrade for me, highly recommend it.

I bought this for my wife and it has served her well. We are a hybrid apple/android, pc/mac family. We will use whatever product makes sense for us but it has to be quality. As for a tablet, this hits the marks. Expandable storage is great. Nice processor power, good feel, quality build and screen... all in all worth it.

Bought the Samsung with the intent to use it exclusively as an "electronic cookbook" in my kitchen hanging under the cabinets. We find ourselves making use of it more and more for web searches, communication and pretty much all of the other reasons most people buy tablets. Couldn't be happier with the performance!

Used other tablets in size class for value, even though only has 16 GB, still suited for travel, modest tasks.

Screen quality is awesome and the processing power is good for a 200$ tablet, I have paired it with a BT keyboard and a stand/cover and I am using it like a laptop :) Having in mind that a 250$ laptop is really underwhelming, getting this tablet as a laptop replacement is a no brainer. 100% recommended

I'm a big fan of Samsung. Wanted a bigger tablet and this one is great. Still learning but very happy with it.

I purchased the Samsung - Galaxy Tab A - 10.1" as a gift for my wife. My wife loves Samsung Galaxy products and she previously owned an older, smaller Tab A. She has enjoyed using the new tablet for daily tasks. She enjoys the large and clear display and the light weight of the Tab A.

Being a Samsung phone user makes this so easy to navigate around. It hasn't let me down yet with performance.

I sure could have used more detailed instructions, but after asking a friend how to get it on, it seems to work fine. I'm not good with the electronic age equipment.

I liked this upgrade to my old tablet. It has pretty good memory and storage.

Bought this as a present for my spouse. She loves it. Plan to use it for all daily tasks and entertainment.

Bought this as a second all around device for when I out working and not in the office. So if it gets stolen I'm not crying later. For work purposes it's great, speed 10, display 10, and portability is 9-10 depending on where you carry it. All in all I will probably buy another as a book or back up.

Using this tablet is just like using my Samsung Galaxy S6. I figured it would be similar because of the Android OS, but this is just like a big phone. I had a nook HD+ for about 1 1/2 years. It was good. The Tab A is so much better! Graphics, speed...just better. Only downside-finding a screen protector was very tough.

The tablet has a great screen, very bright and vivid. I actually bought it to play Call of Duty: Mobile, but unfortunately, it barely runs on it. If I'm being honest, it even runs Homescapes slow. I recommend it to someone who wants to watch movies or surf Facebook, which it does wonderfully. I would not recommend it to anyone that wants to game on it.

Im a Computer Power User. I build my own. Tablets i was new to and was buying Generic Ones and they seemed to work fine. I THOUGHT lol I bought the Samsung when it came onsale and OMG i was in the dark ages with the Generics! The Samsung is a Hotrod and i can actually use it for work! GREAT PRODUCT!

If you're looking for a non-Apple tablet device, look no further than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A. It's a great alternative to the iPad, built on the Android 7.0 OS. Battery life is excellent and the 10-inch display is exceptional. Great for Netflix, web browsing and reading emails. Highly-recommended.
